Our group of 15... 3 families... has decided to go to MK right after we leave the ship... we are getting 4 rooms at the All-Stars resorts for the night and heading back home on Sunday.

Will Disney take our bags to the resort for us... if we take transfers directly to the park from the port????

Or is that just Wishful thinking???:D

Did you book with the Disney Land and Sea package or did you book your cruise and room with seperate reservations?

Separate... I didn't know of a package to add just one day at WDW... Is that an option????

We can get a 15 passenger van... and save quite a bit through another service.

No they will not move the luggage, you have to do it yourself, we had the land/sea package last year and because we didn't get transfers , they did not take our luggage, we had to do it ourselves.

Oh my, until you said 15 people in a 15 passenger van, I never considered how much luggage you might have. You might need a second vehicle just to get everyone and everything transported. I don't think there's much room behind the last row of seats to haul luggage in a 15 passenger van.

Are you renting a van or hiring a driver to transport you? I'm still stuck pondering 30 pieces of luggage and then 15 people. Good luck, I'd like to follow how you solve it.

I know I wasn't any help, but you do have my sympathy with your dilemna.

found this service by luck actually... When looking at Dave's site trying to figure out where to stay if we came in a day early... looking for the best deal (of course;) ) called Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriott and talked to a very helpful lady named Marie in the sales office who handles ressies for both properties... She told me they contract for transfers with two companies... the first one I called was wonderful... $10 pp for transfers to/from airport to port... and get this... if you use the 15 passenger van to transfer 15 people they USE A U-HAUL TRAILER FOR THE LUGGAGE!!!

How cool is that????

That is very cool indeed! It sounds like a great bargain and very convenient, too.

I have owned full size conversion vans with seats for 7 for almost 20 years and have made short trips with 6 or 7 people and their luggage and it's a challenge to do that. I just couldn't imagine twice as much luggage and people even for a 60 or 70 mile trip.

You've done very well indeed.
