Was just wondering if there is any sort of CD player to play music on at the Boardwalk Villas (1 B/R).

Also is there a blender there?

Thanks,
Steph

No to both your questions. However, I believe you can request a blender from Housekeeping - they are just not "standard" kitchen items.

I thought DVC was trying to standardize which items are found in rooms at all the resorts. We had a blender in our one-bedroon unit at OKW in May. As a matter of fact, when I went to use one morning, I realized the blender was missingpart of its lid. I called housekeeping & a runner brought me a brand new blender still in its box. We opened the box just to be sure all the pieces were there & she took the old blender with her.

I have to take back my previous answer on the blender (although I honestly cannot remember seeing a blender in any of the BWV two bedroom kitchens when we've been there).

On page 72 of the Member Guidebook, there is a listing of the items typically found in the 1, 2, & 3 bedroom kitchens. One of the items mentioned is "1 Bar mixer blender".

I've never had a blender in a 1-bedroom, always had to request one. I just checked out Deb Wills' site, here's a link to what's provided. http://wdwig.com/bwv_kit.htm

DD never travels w/o a CD player. We take small speakers to play in the room.

Mousekeeping has brought up blenders when we have needed it.

Thanks everyone, was trying to think of reasons not to have to take the laptop and speakers, might just go ahead and pack it. Still not thrilled about carrying the laptop on a plane.
