Does anyone have a suggestion for a good guidebook? I cannot find any in my local bookstore so I would have to order on Amazon. Any good ones?
TIA

Hi :)
The Brit guide to Disneyland Paris is very popular over here. I have a copy of the 2010 version and have read it from cover to cover.
ETA The DLRP website is also a brilliant source of info. I can't post a link sorry as I am new around here. address is www.dlrpmagic.com
Oh, It seems I can post links.........:rotfl:

This book (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guide-Disneyland-Resort-2010-2011-Guides/dp/0572035667/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1269209107&sr=8-1) gets good reviews. I've used their Florida one and it was great.
Although the company is still Euro Disney S.C.A., the resort is now called Disneyland Paris but we know what you mean :goodvibes
It's a lovely place, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.:wizard:

I've been thinking of getting the Brit Guide one for our upcoming trip to...is it true that there are vouchers that can be used in there? What are they for and what sort of discounts do they provide?

Thanks. Apparently, there is a 2010-2011 edition which is due to be released from the publisher May 1st so I will order it then and hopefully get it in time for my trip. ;)

That''s odd because I got my copy of the 2010-2011 from the book depository a few weeks back, they may be doing a reprint already.:confused3

There are a couple of vouchers, yes.
It's 20% off a meal at Planet Hollywood and 10% off the merchandise store.
10% of la vallee village shops
and a couple of vouchers for travel with leger and 10% off tickets with Keith Prowse

Len Testa and Bob Sehlinger are bring out an UnOfficial Guide to DLP around Juneish. If it is anything like the unofficial guide to WDW, it will be great.!!

I am planning a trip to DLP in october and ordered the Brits Guide to DLP from Amazon.UK.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guide-Disneyland-Resort-2010-2011-Guides/dp/0572035667/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267103569&sr=1-1
I was ordering a couple of other bokks as my favorite autor is british and they are reprinting some of her books over in the UK but not in the US (well, not all in the US). I have read about 2/3 of the guide, and it's pretty good. A couple of "phrases" spin me a little (ie the word for stroller is pushchair, I think).
I was never crazy about the Unofficial Guide, so this was pretty much it for me.

I think so ~ apart from the chapter on how to get there the book is relevant for anyone. :)

I got my Brit Guide last week from Book Depository and I am LOVING it, and we are from Australia so it's definitely for anyone going there. We are travelling from the UK to DLP by Eurotunnel and it covered some of the questions we had about the French roads and tolls etc that we will find really helpful.

Keith Prowse? Was that not the guy who played Darth Vader in Star Wars and also became the Green Cross Code man?
May the force be with you....
PS Just got the Brit Guide book - it seems very good

I'm borrowing the Brit's Guide from booknut, and sending it back to her after our trip! I haven't finished it but the tips etc. seem to be good for anyone! The only trouble I've been coming across is when they use "british" words as opposed to "american"- the big one I tend to have to think about is push chair!:rotfl: is it a wheelchair? A stroller? Something only available at Harrod's?
