Not much is said about whether you get anything extra in your concierge room - for example, toothbrushes and robes. We will be staying in the Poly Concierge in Sept and I was just wondering. Thanks.

There are usually two robes in the room, you can ask for more. Along with the soap and shampoo they will leave one toothbrush that is wrapped and also a small tube of crest toothpaste.

I always wondered why they gave one toothbrush when two of us were staying in the room. I don't mind sharing but never my TOOTHBRUSH:D

We are going to the AK concierge for just one night (for a quickie anniversary night out) and we don't want to take any checked baggage to the airport. We will take our overnight things in our carry-ons to get us in and out of the airport quickly.

Do you think it is too much to ask concierge to leave a razor for my DH? With the new airport security, we will not be able to pack one in our carry-on.

Looking forward to our 39 hours away!

That's a good question...are their disposable razors in he concierge rooms???

For the $0.19 they would cost buying them in bulk, you would think that they would be there.

Claudia, I think it's fine if you ask them to leave a razor for your DH. I'm sure they would be happy to help.

At the Poly concierge we had robes in our room, a complimentary mini-fridge, and a toothbrush and toothpaste (in addition to the regular toiletries). :)

Out of all my concierge stays, I must admit that I have never seen a disposable razor in any of my resort rooms. I have purchased them, however, in the resort gift shops. I would think that leaving a disposable razor in a resort room might be somewhat of a no-no since a small child could get a hold of it and accidentally cut him or herself (at least that's my thinking as to why Disney would not want to leave one in a resort room).

At many hotels around the US I have asked the front desk for a disposable razor and they always bring one right up for no charge. I just thought it was a standard item that hotels provide when the guest requests one???

TigrLvsPooh, you can probably request one, I was just trying to point out why I felt that Disney didn't leave them in their resort rooms as a standard concierge item. Of course I hope it is a safety reason and not a cheapness reason on Disney's part! ;)

I agree Janet - I've never seen disposable razors, or toothbrushes/toothpaste, in either the BWI, GF, Poly, YC or AKL concierge....

Imbe@aol.com brought up an interesting point -- I have not seen toothbrushes or toothpaste very often in any of the concierge rooms that I have stayed in. I have gotten them a few times, but it was pretty rare. I just took a quick search through a few of my on-line photo albums to see if I could remember which resorts I got them in, but my quick search came up empty. I do know that the toothbrushes were placed inside a plastic wrapper that was placed inside the black, cardboard, Mickey Mouse box. The toothbrushes were red and what I considered a child's toothbrush (small in size). The toothpaste was a small travel-size, and I remember it being either Crest or Colgate (probably Crest). It was also found inside one of the black, cardboard, Mickey Mouse boxes.

Yes, you CAN carry a razor (like a Bic or Gillette disposable) in your carry on.

We got a toothbrush and paste in our room at the BWI. No other concierge rooms at WDW that we've stayed in have had them though.
