Hard Rock hotel pool - locker room with showers?

For our Oct trip we are doing a split stay, moving over to the Hard Rock hotel from WDW. We have to check out of POFQ at 11am and it looks like check in time at Hard Rock is 4pm.

My questions are:

1. We would like to go swimming once we get to the Hard Rock, probably around noon. Are there locker/shower facilities near the pool in case our room is not ready?
2. Is an early check in likely? Not counting on it just curious.

I don't know about an early check-in. We were there in August and room wasn't ready until 4:00. Luckily, there is a nice fitness center w/ changing room, lockers and showers.

We got to the pool around 1:00, changed into bathing suits, and when we were done, took a quick shower in the fitness center and changed into fresh clothes (we each had a fresh set in our bag). That way, when the room was finally ready, we then didn't all have to get into the shower.

We have had the ready on several trips and not ready on others. We usually get there around 11 a.m. It just is hit or miss.

Thanks for the responses. Is there a charge to use the gym facilities for the showers? I am just curious.
