Is hand luggage counted as luggage allownce ?

Anyone know if your hand luggage is counted in with your 20kg ?

it certainly isn't on virgin - they give two different luggage allowance one for checked and one for hand on their website. Check to see if your airline has a web site it should say there.

It isn't on Britannia. They allow you 5kg for your hand luggage and were weighing it on our return flight.
