Three visits and $90+ at Delish during our visit down. I mentioned you and the Dis and they knew you well. Really nice folks too! We just left there for our last box full to take back home. While we loved the bagels, it was the rainbow cookies and even more the Rugalach (spelling). I don't think this 3 pound box by me will survive the 11 hours back home.

For others, do visit Delish! It's by Whole Foods on Turkey Lake Rd.

Glad to hear that it worked out well for you.

I have an addiction to something at Delish called pignoli cookies.

They are an almond flavored cookie that gets a bit crisp on the outside and has a softer chewy center. They are topped with pignoli (pine) nuts which get a nice roasted flavor.

They are a bit pricey.....but I love them.

I usually buy some for home, but I have to buy a few for the ride.....or the ones for home would never make it home.:)

My husband was in town for a convention, and I sent him to Delish. He brought home bagels and Pignoli cookies. They are heaven :cloud9: I made sure he mentioned the DIS :thumbsup2

I already have the Delish website bookmarked for my August visit. We are meeting my husband's family (transplanted New Yorkers) and I am planning on picking up bagels for the day I am responsible for breakfast. I have never been a hit before with my cooking, but think I am a shoe in this year! Now that I know about the pignolli cookies, I am adding those to my list. My father-in-law has these delivered every Christmas, so this will be a little surprise. I have to admit, I love these as well. I'm pretty sure it is the soft middle. Thanks for the tip!

As the pignoli cookies are a tad pricey, they do not bake a large amount.

In order to be certain that they have these ready for you (and that I havent been in before you and cleaned them out) I'd make sure to call the day before and order your cookies and bagels. That way you will know they are there and your bagels will be warm and amazing.

If lox is your thing....Whole Foods is right next door and has a huge assortment.

If I was invited to breakfast, you would certainly have my vote. Sounds delish.;)

No one has to encourage me to include the lox (and maybe some capers)! Love them. Good to know that Whole Foods is close, I can run up quite a tab in that place. Will call ahead for the pignolli cookies.
