Question about Dining Plan?

We've been traveling to WDW since 2003 and are going again in June and will be using the dining plan for the first time. We have the quick service plan and wanted to know does my entire party need to be present for it to be used?
Reason of my question is I am an early riser and instead of having my DW and our fours kids getting up with me am I able to go to our resort food court and get the QS items and bring them back to our room?

Yes....it says right on your KTTW card how many adults and kids are in the party. You can only order that many CS meals at one time. Snack credits don't fall under that though. You can get as many snacks as you want at any time.

Yes you can order for everyone and take it to them. I often order for everyone anyway b/c 5 people standing in line isn't really practical and just backs the line up.

You can order everything for everybody who is listed on your card but you'll be limited to that number of meals. If you have 2 adults 4 kids listed, you can buy 2 adult meals and 4 kid meals at a time. You can purchase fewer than that, but not more.

Doesn't apply, as noted, to snack credits.
