What does an Accounts Payable Clerk do? Does anybody do this for a living?

Main responsibility is to process and pay the bills due for a company.

This is one of my many tasks as being a family owned and operated small business.

Sounds right. I used to work in A/R. We got to take in all the $$$ and post the accounts. That was one of my "fun" jobs. :)

That is one of the things that is under my job description at the day care I work at. My general title is administrative assistant, but under all the wording is accounts payable clerk and bookkeeper. I enjoy what I do!

When I was working I was an Administrative Manager and Acounts Receivable and Payable was one of my responsibilities. All the aformentioned is an accurate description.
