Hey! Do Disney provide Aisle Runners for the Wedding Pavilion or do you have to go to an outside vendor? If Disney do, can anyone share the cost of them? Can they personalise them? How much do outside vendors charge? Thanks :thumbsup2 xx

Disney FLorist can provide one for you, I'm sure they'd even provide a monogramed one if you're willing to pay the price. I don't know the price exactly for just a normal white runner but I've heard it's pricey.
If you bring your own, Disney will not set it up for you, you'll have to designate one of your guests to put it down for you.

I just got quoted from disney for a aisle runner. It starts at $250 for a white runner. Then I just wanted then to write And They Live Happily Ever After with our wedding date and the total came to a little over $1,000:scared1:. I was not expecting that at all I mean I knew it would be more then other places but over 700 to personalize it. So I am getting it some where else. The only thing is like the other bride said you have to have someone set it up Disney suggested one of the groomsmen do it. I looked on line and I found someone to do it for less then $200 and she will use more then one color and made the runner wider to cover more of the carpet. She can also add ribbon on the sides but it cost a bit it more. Here is her website if you want to take a look http://www.coutureweddingonline.com/. I haven't gotten my runner yet but she has been very pleasant to work with and I have asked her a million questions. If you are using the wedding pavilion I know all the measurements of the aisle if you need them.

Thanks for the great info! I'll be using this information too! Would you be willing to post the WP measurements? I'm sure there are other brides like me who would like to have them.
Also, just wondering how you got the measurements?
thanks so much for the great tips!

Yeah here are the measurements. I got all the measurements from my wedding planner.
From the door to the stairs is- 54 ft
so it would look like this
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/disney08107.jpg
From the door to the head tables is- 70 ft
so it would look like this
http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv285/ann117/Picture1534.jpg
The width of the aisle is- approximately 6 ft
I am buying a 75 foot runner and having it cut to 70 ft. Most runners come in 25', 50', 75' or 100'. Also if you want the Added chiffon swagging for both sides of the aisle that is is in the second picture it cost $150 for disney to do it. They will add ribbon like that picture or they can add flowers I am going to do three flowers every three rows and it cost $15 per three roses. But if you add the swagging your aisle runner will not be walked on by your guest.

I had my PS on March 9 and my planner (Meri) said it had just changed. Reason being is because the majority of the time they just put down the aisle runner anyways, so this way they'll be prepared to do it.

Woot! This is wonderful news!!! I really wanted a runner but didn't want to saddle anybody with putting it down or being worried about it being done properly. This really makes me happy
Thank you so much for sharing! Now I can start researching runners and what I want! :wizard:

I found this great site http://www.exclusiveelementsinc.com/aisle-runners.html . They have been great with personalizing my aisle runner. We went through probably 10 designs before we got the exact design we wanted and the entire process has been a breeze. I just ordered my aisle runner a few days ago so i don't have any pics to show but i will definitely post them once i have it. They are very reasonably priced as well. HTH

I found a great company called Original Aisle Runner Co., their prices are so much better then Disney, they have different styles, you can get them in a solid color, pattern or with a custom design...a 75ft solid color aisle runner is $185.00. I am using an outside florist so she will be putting down my aisle.

Hi everyone!
I spoke with my florist this week, and she quoted me $75.00 for a plain runner. She said it was $250.00 up for personalized runners.
The best part...::insert sarcasm::...she told me if I purchased my own they would charge me $50.00 to put it down...so...yeah.
We're not doing an aisle runner. :sad1:

Hello!
*First and foremost: My "sarcasm" was for the fact that it costs more money not because of my florist!!*
*:lovestrucMy florist is Rose and she is lovely!!:lovestruc*
Here is the email trail:
"Hello Rosie!
I was wondering, could we bring our own Aisle runner??
Thanks"
"Hi Bridget,
It's not recommended, it is best that it is pulled all the way down the aisle and pinned out for you prior to the ceremony start.
What type of runner were you thinking about?
If you provided a runner I do have a set fee of $50.00 for my team to pull it out and pin it down.
Hope that helps.
Thank you

Are you ladies being quoted $25.00 from your wedding planner or from the florist?

If you want to save money, you can EASILY make your own and then have someone put it down for you. I know I'd be happy to help a client out and just place it down for them for no charge.
You can simply buy a large bolt of fabric at the store, roll it out, trace your design, and then paint it. (I did this for my own wedding and it cost only $30). I then cut the fabric and mounted them as wall hangings on frames, as canvases, for my guest room.
Hope that helps you out; it doesn't have to break the bank!

Hi ladies!!
I emailed Rosie to ask about the price difference...I didn't really know how to word it as I didn't want to seem...I don't know, rude? Ungrateful? So here's what I came up with:
"Hello again Rosie!
I had a quick question for you:
I am concerned about the aisle runner. :-(
I would like to have one, however, I am concerned about the price. We were looking at getting our own and hand painting it to personalize it and lay it out, and you let me know it would cost $50.00 to have your team put it down for us. Several other Disney brides that I have been speaking with have let me know that they were quoted/charged only $25.00. Does the price difference have anything to do with the style of runner that we want put down?
Thanks!"
I recieved this response:
"Hi *Bree,
I will honor the $25.00 price.
Thank you"

You can either buy a premade aisle runner, roll it out a small way, and paint that or buy X number of feet of white muslin and paint that.
There is almost no price difference and the muslin is more durable, so you can cut it out and frame it later is you'd like.

I am looking online to purchase one and they have spun-bonded material woven or fabric? Another website i found offered cotton fabric runner and non-woven poly runners does it matter which one. My ceremony is going to be at the wedding pavilion. I want to make sure that it doesn't bunch up!

Cotton would be better, IMO. The poly ones tear easily and are really made to throw away. Cotton would be more likely to wrinkle, but to avoid that, use white duct tape underneath and straight pins to pin it into the carpet.

It is supposed to be shiny like that. It's a satin/polyester blend. It was exactly what i wanted too. They made it 70 feet long and it's in ivory with the writing in our colors for the wedding.
