I have to cancel our reservation at the fort for 3/27-4/3 for a premium site.
If anybody here is interested i am willing to coordinate the timing to give fellow members a better chance at the reservation.
I really don't have to cancel till the end of next week, so just reply if interested.

Did you get a AAA rate? If so that will open one up and I would love to get it. :)
Sorry you have to cancel.

Hi Docbrown! We have reservations for 3-27 thru 4-2 for a preferred site. This will be our first trip staying at Fort Wilderness and I had originally booked a premier site, then canceled and re-booked a preferred. After finding this site/ board, I felt like premier was the way to go---but I've called every day and all of the premier sites are gone!
How do we go about this? Any recommendations on a particular loop for us? We'd prefer to stay on one w/o pets. We're dog lovers, but are kenneling our two and our kids are a little afraid of other dogs.
We have a 33ft fifth wheel w/ 2 slides on driver side, plus a Ford F-250. We'll also have a golf cart parked on the site. (if that helps you determine which loop we should go for)
Thanks so much!!!

In one word there is no way to coordinate or transfer CS ressies and even if someone cancels and you call 10min later it may or maynot be back in the computer or because of the dates you can't match up.
Attempting to do this while it sounds good is like the old saying "don't spit into the wind or tug on Superman's Cape" both of which are loosing propositions.

I'm sure you're absolutely right, but since I'm calling daily anyway (hoping something opens up)---I might as well try to call 15-20 minutes behind docbrown. As the Rolling Stones song goes, "you can't always get what you want, but if you TRY sometimes, you just might find...you get what you need." And I NEED a premier site! :rotfl2:
Any tips on loops otherwise? I've read every thread and looked at every pic already. Just a little overwhelmed right now. :cutie:

LOL. I just realized I'm calling the site "premier" instead of "premium". Think I better go rest...:rotfl:

Docbrown,
Please private message me if you'd like to set up a time convenient for you to call to cancel. I spoke to an agent today and she gave me recommendations to follow to "try" to secure the premium site.
Thanks, again!!!
