I went to buy cardstock to make an autograph book for our trip and all I could find was the 65lb. Is this what most people use or should I just order the 110lb online? We will be bringing a retractable sharpie for the characters to do their signing and I want to make sure the paper is think enough. Should I be worried?

Thanks

I normally just use 4x6 cards. But I would wait to see what other people recommend. :goodvibes Penny:hippie:

65 lb cardstock works just fine, it isn't too thin. It also has the added advantage of being a little lighter to carry! Don't worry, the retractable Sharpie should not leak through. :goodvibes

I got a Value Pack of White Cardstock Sheets (8 1/2x11) at Michael's for 3.99 for 50 sheets. It does not list a weight on there but they worked fine for my DD with the retractable Sharpie. I printed Penny's autograph cards on them, 4 to a page in a Word doc, cut them out, punched a hole in one corner, and put them on a ring from an office supply store. It was awesome and most characters commented on her unique book.

I use the plain white 4x6 index cards. They print well with the color printer and hold up against a retractable sharpie (a regular thick sharpie will bleed through to the other side). I am far too lazy to use cardstock and have to do any additional cutting. I do not bind my autograph pages, I put them in a 4x6 photo album that has 4 photos per page.

Perhaps someday I will get more creative with my autograph book strategy!! :rotfl:

I bought mine in staples. It is their own brand and is 110lb. I bought it one day in the store. I love it.

Just checked it's 110lb and I'm sure came from Office Depot.
