just phoned airmiles to sort out our travel arrangements for our Oct trip. Kind airmiles lady tells me they can do the whole holiday cheaper as they have the 40% off deal plus an extra discount. She's quoted me 100 quid cheaper.....but i've already booked with disney. Agh!??

Are you thinking of cancelling your Disney booking now then zinderella?

i've paid £78. So would lose that...but airmiles lady suggests I ring Disney and ask if Airmiles can take over my booking. Ie cancel but explain i am rebooking, and she would then ring Disney...dunno all seems a bit weird tbh!

Have decided to leave everything where it is! After taking into account the 10% I would lose, my overall saving would be £18 hahahahahaha - not worth the bother!

But if anyone else has Airmeiles to spend, DO RING THEM as you are likely to save at least the cost of a family meal or some nice cuddlies!!!!!!!!

Ooohhh, I wonder if you can use Airmiles to prepay for a character meal even if you've booked Direct with Disney...??? Hmmmmm, could be worth looking into!! :goodvibes

When I booked our hotel with Airmiles I had to pay for the HB vouchers as I couldn't use Airmiles but I could use them towards a character meal so it is definitely worth checking to see if you can use Airmiles even if you have booked with Disney.

Think I might call them to see if we can get a different hotel for the same Airmiles (currently have Cheyenne booked) as we can cancel without incurring any charges. Have already tried once but they hadn't got anything available as Disney were keeping all the decent 30% & 40% discounts to themselves for when we're going as it's just before May half-term so they obv think they will sell them without any help. But you never know, that advert that seems to be on TV 100 times a day might not be working sufficiently;-) (wishful thinking).
