Here's the official list of the celebrities who will be appearing during Star Wars Weekends. I'll be at weekend 4. I don't plan on seeing celebrities because I hear you need to line-up at the Studios entrance around 4:00AM. :rotfl: I do hope to enjoy some of the other activities around the event.

Awesome! I'd love to be there the first weekend of June to see Billy Dee Williams!

It is a shame that none of the Big Stars come to Star Wars Weekend. I would love to see George Lucas, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Anthony Daniels. :worship:

Carrie Fisher was there one year. There's a rumor that a certain crazed fan (a woman... The legendary Linda) might've scared her away for good. And Anthony Daniels has been there a couple of times. I'll be pretty excited to see Billy Dee there though.

Thanks Kathy! I've replaced the link in the first post. :)

I guess "celebrities" is in the eye of the beholder. I'm a huge Star Wars fan (the original 3 movies, you know, the GOOD ones), and I had to look up every "celebrity" name except for Jeremy Bulloch.

"Now appearing, the 3rd Stormtrooper from the left, third row down in the second scene just before the Death Star blew up." I mean c'mon, these guys wouldn't even be allowed on The Surreal Life. They're definitely scraping the bottom of the Star Wars barrel.

I'll be there the second weekend, and was hoping to see someone, anyone recognizable from any of the movies. This group is sad.

Personally, I'm very excited about Billy Dee Williams coming. I had seen that leaked on another website, and saw it on his home page. I'd love to see him. Lando Calrissian is AWESOME! Why he didn't get a Burger King toy I'll never know.

I was talking about the second week in particular. A sound guy, a modeller and another no name. Gee thanks for nothing.

Matthew Wood is definitely the main draw that weekend. Look him up on imdb.com. You'll be quite impressed.

I did. He's a voice actor and sound editor. Call me negative but that doesn't impress me in the least. I'd even take an ewok over that.

Then maybe SWW is not your cup of tea. SWW is about die hard fans who are interested in every aspect of the movies. Heck the key grip in EP. IV could be a guest and I'd be ecstatic.

Like I said, celebrity is in the eye of the beholder. Most of the people there the second week i wouldn't crossthe street to see. Definitely D-listers. To me, that's like having D23 expo, with the "celebrity" being the guy that was the best friend of Raven's neighbor on "That's so Raven". It's not like Disney doesn't have the money to get A-list people. Seems like there's no need to, if the weekend brings out people that will wait in line from 4am to meet with these nobodys.

I can see getting no names for the grand opening's of "Bob's Star Wars Comic Book Store" (fictional place, any reference to an actual location is coincidental). But, this is a regular event and like a convention. This is what continues the legacy of Star Wars, DD who is 9 loves Star Wars IV and she wasn't even born when it was first released. I would think George and some of the actors would want to support SWW, afterall it's Disney World- what's not to love :thumbsup2
