I am wondering if there is a place that rents these out for families who are driving?
Thanks in advance!

I just bought a video in a bag from Circuit City a couple weeks ago- 199.00 on sale. We had a four hour car ride each way from Boston to Maine. It made all the difference in the world!!!3 kids sandwiched in the back seat of a rented compact car and they were QUIET!!
Other stores carry them as well -139 to rent seems a bit high to me.

We buy ours at Sam's Club. The 9-inch ones are made for vehicles and include a cord which lets you plug into the vehicle's power. We usually pay around $189 or $199.
This thing is a lifesaver. We use it for ANY trip over an hour or so, to calm the mean little children. We watch Disney tapes when we drive to Mickey!

I agree, if it's only $50 to own one, buy it. Renting seems like wasting your money.
