22nd Birthday on Disney Magic March 6th-March 13th, 2010 Cruise

So I'll start this trip report off by giving little details:cool1:.

Cruise Staff was awesome this cruise. David, Mowgli, Ponz, Oscar, Dave, Melanie, Lisa, Pearl were all awesome and great and made the cruise fun. From talking with David, Mowgli, and Ponz during the days to dancing at night.

Servers
Ana, We had her back in 2008 and requested her and got her again and once again she was great.

Marcos was the Assistant Server, he was great gave me diet coke at dinner right away without even having to say anything.

Roberto was Head Server, he was the best head server we've had on any DCL and was nice and awesome.

Stateroom Host was Ronaldo, didn't really see him, but did a good job with the room, that's all I can ask for.

CD was Peter and he did a good job, didn't get to talk with him, but a couple times when I passed him said Hi.

ACD was Natalie, she was great as ACD, had her as ACD on my Wonder cruise in December as well, so two times now. Glad to see she is moving up

Thursday, March 4th, 2010
Woke up in the morning with my room cleaned and almost everything packed. I was ready to go to Disney World. I watched tv, downloaded some music and waited for dad to get home for work. Dad got home around 11:30am or so(can't remember). We got ready, said by to my mom and headed to the airport. Got to Newark airport and parked the car took a bus to the terminal, checked our bags, went through security and grabbed some lunch at Mcdonalds. After lunch sat and waited to head to Orlando. Got on the plane and got to Florida. We got our luggage and dad went to get the rental car while I waited.

Once we had the car headed to the Boardwalk hotel where we were going to be staying till Saturday morning. We checked in and went and saw our room.

We headed to downtown disney to grab some dinner since it was around 7:30pm or so. After dinner walked around downtown disney and then headed back to the hotel for the night. Dad wanted to look around the hotel, so he did that while I stayed in the room and took a shower and watched tv.

Woke up around 6:30am-7:00am, really who can sleep in on vacation? I know I can't. Dad was out of the room getting coffee and looking around the hotel.

So while he did that I got ready for the day. Once dad got back to the room we headed to grab some breakfast and drinks and took them back to the room and ate.

After breakfast walked around the hotel for a while then headed over to Hollywood Studios to get there when it openned, we headed to Toy Story Mania and rode it, only had to wait 20 mins in line while fastpass was for 11:30am or so.

Friday, March 5th, 2010 continued
So after we left Hollywood Studios, we got a bus to the Contemporary Hotel, that was actually the first place we stayed when we went to Disney World in 2000 I think it was. Anyway we looked around there for a little, found a bathroom then headed over to Magic Kingdom.

After that did some shopping then we got a bus and headed back to the Boardwalk Hotel for a little while. We rested up a little then headed over to Epcot and looked at all the flowers.

We ate dinner at Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room, food was good.

After dinner split up with my dad and walked around Epcot for a while and did some shopping, got a Margarita as well. Meet up with my dad in Japan again.

After watching his concert we headed back to the hotel for a early night, since we had to drive to port tomorrow and wanted to get there early. So back to the Boardwalk Hotel we went. Dad went back out and got us some soda's and we watched tv, I also took a shower.

Saturday, March 6th, 2010
Woke up early today, can't remember what time, just know it was early. Dad was already out of the room getting coffee and looking around so I took a shower and got ready for the day. After I was ready dad still wasn't back so I watched some tv. Dad came back to the room at about 6:30am or so and we got everything ready and watched some more tv. Around 7:00am we went to get breakfast. Got breakfast at the bakery on the boardwalk and some drinks and took it back to the room again and ate. After breakfast brushed our teeth and got the rest of our things ready and chilled for a while. We then decided to take a walk since it was only 7:30am or so and we had time before we were going to leave.

We went to the general type store and I bought a couple things, after that we had time so dad went to take a picture of something he had seen, while I headed back to the room and watched tv while I waited for him. He got back and we left and headed to the car to leave. While he got the car I waited with the bags.

The drive to port was the same as always exciting and boring, listened to a mix cd I had made in the car and texted people on my cell and went on facebook. Got to port a little before 10:00am I would say. They weren't letting people in just yet so waited in line till they did. They started letting people in and I got in. Got in the terminal and got in line to check in. In line met someone who is from the disboards and who I would be hanging out with during the week. Checked my dad and I in and waited for my dad to show up after he had dropped off the rental car. Dad met up with me and we got our pictures taken and then found a seat and waited around.

They started boarding the Magic, so soon enough we were on the ship. We headed to topsiders for our first lunch. Got some drinks of the day at lunch and were relaxed. After lunch we walked around a while and found a table to sit at.

Called my mom to tell her we were on the ship and that we were leaving that day and to say bye till tomorrow anyway. After that it was around 1:30pm and staterooms were ready, so we checked out the stateroom.

After checking out the stateroom I headed back up to decks 9 and 10 for a while since I had time before the disboards meet.

At 3:00pm went to the disboards meet and met a bunch of great people I would see throughout the week. After that walked around for a while and then headed back to the stateroom to get ready for the mandatory boat drill.

We were outside on deck 4 for the drill. After the drill went and brought the lifejackets back to the stateroom then headed up to decks 9 and 10 for Adventures Away. I stayed on deck 9 while dad headed up to deck 10.

Headed back to the stateroom and got ready for dinner. Tonight dinner was in Animator's Palate. Our servers were Head Server Roberto, Server Ana(who we had in 2008 and requested this time), and Assistant Server Marcos. We sat we two ladies who were nice and we enjoyed talking with. I can't remember what I had for dinner, but it was great. They also did the show tonight.

After dinner walked around some and went to the shops, didn't buy anything tonight. Went to the All Aboard: Let The Magic Begin show in the Walt Disney Theatre, it was great once again. After that walked around some and went to watch The Right Stuff in Rockin' Bar D for a while, headed over to Diversions at 10:00pm for the College Club Social, lots of people showed up so looked like it would be a great week, met Mowgli for the first time as well. Ponz and Mowgli took us all over to Rockin' Bar D to play Magic Quest, which was great once again.

After that was Match Your Mate which is always funny to watch, after that The Right Stuff played and everyone pretty much left some of us stayed and talked with Mowgli for a while, we were all told to keep coming back before we all left. Headed back to the stateroom for a early night tonight since I was tired.

Sunday, March 7th, 2010
I woke up around 7:30am or so and got ready for the day, dad was already out of the stateroom walking around the ship getting some coffee and also took a couple pictures.

I got dressed for Palo brunch and went for a walk around the ship since it was only 9:00am. Sat on deck 4 for a while.

Headed up to Palo and met my dad for brunch. Palo brunch was great once again, can't even begin to remember all the great food I had.

After brunch left my dad and went back to the stateroom to change to comfy clothes. We weren't docked yet, but almost were so went up to deck 9 and 10 to watch us dock. They finally cleared the ship, so I headed back to the stateroom and met up with my dad and we headed off the ship, not before I grabbed my cell phone though. We had nothing planned for Key West, so we just walked to the Southern Most Point.

Went to CVS in Key West and picked up some drinks and made a call to my mom one last time on this trip. We then sat around on a bench for a while and then headed back to get on the Disney Magic. I can't remember what I did, I think I went back to the stateroom, then went and got some chicken fingers and then just walked around the ship and chilled and took some pictures.

Went back to the stateroom and got ready for dinner. Dinner was at Parrot Cay tonight. I don't remember what I had, but it was great. After dinner walked around some then went to see the show tonight in the Walt Disney Theatre. The show was Ricky Kalmon. After the show went and watched The Right Stuff for a while in Rockin' Bar D and then met up with other people from the college club and we all watched Freddy Fusion and then stayed for Disco Legends and danced the night away.

Monday, March 8th, 2010
Woke up around 7:30am or so, don't know why I couldn't sleep in. Dad was out of the stateroom again this morning getting some coffee for himself and a soda for me, so I got ready for the day. Dad got back and I was still getting ready, so finished getting ready and then we head up to Topsiders Buffet for breakfast.

Went to the shops and looked around and then went and sat up in the deck 5 chairs for a while, love those deck 5 chairs because most of the time not many people are up there compared to deck 4. The Princess Gathering was happening so got some pictures of that.

Around 11:00am they had the Castaway Club reception for return cruisers, ad since my day and I were Gold we could go. It was good, got some food and drinks and saw Captain Mickey and saw a video and on the way out got a free glass:cool1:. After that went and sat by the promenade lounge windows for a while. Saw some of the college club people and we headed to Parrot Cay for college club lunch. Ponz was the cruise staff who joined us for lunch today, so we talked to him and we all got to know each other. After lunch some of us left and split up while others walked around together. I left the group for a while to go to the stateroom for a few minutes. Headed back out and ran into some of the group and we just walked around the ship. Walked all over the place, went down to deck 4 and ran into another guy from our group and we all walked around deck 4. We didn't really do anything, we just kind of walked around. We chilled outside Sessions for a while and we all talked about different things. Two of the group left us, so three of us that were left went and sat outside on deck 4 talking and relaxing.

After a while we got up and walked around again, I left the group and headed back to the stateroom to get ready for formal night since by now it was 5:15pm and dinner was at 5:45.

Dinner was in Lumiere's tonight and was great once again. After dinner went to the stateroom and changed and then went and watched Freddy Fusion family show in Rockin' Bar D, it was great, after that went and looked around in the shops for a while then headed to get a seat in the Walt Disney Theatre for Twice Charmed. Twice Charmed was good once again. After the show went and watched The Right Stuff for a while in Rockin' Bar D and then headed over to Diversions for the college club, we then all headed over to Rockin' Bar D to see Ricky Kalmon show which was x-rated:lmao:. After that was a dance party so all the girls danced and we even got the guys to dance a little bit. We headed up to deck 9 for some drinks again, then I think we all went back down to Rockin' Bar D for a while and talked to Mowgli by the DJ booth, I think this was the night was all talked a long time and lots of funny things happened. Headed back to the stateroom at 3:00am tonight.

I didn't ready spend much time with him lol, I ate dinner and breakfast with him and went on a excursion in Grand Cayman and and got off in Key West with him, but other then that didn't see him much:lmao:

Woke up around 8:00am today, I needed that extra sleep. Got ready and then Dad and I headed up to Topsiders for breakfast. After breakfast left my dad and went to the internet cafe to check facebook. After checking facebook I headed up to decks 10 and 9 and took pictures.

Met up with some friends for a while I think and walked around with them for a little, headed back to the stateroom and got ready for dinner which was in Lumiere's again tonight with the regular menu. Dinner was great again tonight, after dinner went to Rockin' Bar D and saw the family show of Alfred & Seymour which was great love those guys they are awesome.

After that went and saw Once Upon A Song the fill in show on the cruise, which I will say wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. Good singers and I knew more songs then I thought I would. After that walked around a while then headed to Diversions for the college club and then we all headed over to Rockin' Bar D to get seats for Alfred & Seymour's adult show, which was great once again and funny funny funny. After that was One Hit Wonders theme party night, and the cruise staff got us all up to dance and have a great time. Again tonight we all chilled and talked with Mowgli and then also Alfred tonight as well and then we all headed up to deck 9 for some drinks. Went back to the stateroom again around 2:30am.

I got a tender back to the Magic while dad stayed to see if he could find something in Grand Cayman for my mom back home. So left dad and got back to the Disney Magic around 1:00-1:30pm. Went up to deck 9 and got some chicken fingers for lunch. Walked around the ship for a while then at some point saw some friends, so joined them and we all watch Finding Nemo on the Ariel View Television. I think then a couple of my friends left to do things and three of us just chilled and then we decided to go find one of our friends, but couldn't find him, so we went to play basketball for a while. We then saw that Mowgli was doing some poolside jams at the goofy pool so we went to see him and talked to him for a while and he told us to come to Krazy Karaoke in Rockin' Bar D later that night and he also gave us another mission. After that said bye to Mowgli and went and saw another friend to tell him to come to Krazy Karaoke tonight and talked with him and another friend joined us and one left, it was getting close to 5:15pm and I needed to get ready for dinner so I left and went to the stateroom and got ready for dinner. Dinner was in Animator's Palate tonight.

After the party headed back to the stateroom really quick then headed to Rockin' Bar D for Krazy Karaoke with my friends. Mowgli and David were hosting Krazy Karaoke which was awesome, they also wanted the college club to sing. Mowgli picked Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody for us all to go up and sing, so we all did and well it didn't give out halfway through the song like bye bye bye did is 2009 so we sang the whole song. There was this one guy at karaoke that went up a couple times and he got worse and worse each time he went up and the last song he sang was like 10 mins long, oh boy what a night. After karaoke I think we danced some and then we all headed up to deck 9 and got drinks again. Headed back to the stateroom around 2:30am again tonight and went to sleep.

Cool trip report! My son, who will be sixteen, and I are traveling to the Med. next year together. My husband does not want to go. Hope we can find plenty to do together. This will be our 4th cruise but first to Europe. We have been to WDW many times like you have. We pick and choose what we have to do each trip. So relaxing.
Was Roberto from the Phillipines? He was our favorite server. We last saw him in April last year on our 7 day Eastern.

Slept till around 8:00am today, dad had already gone to breakfast since I was going to be grabbing breakfast with some other people today. I got ready for the day and then watched some ESPN to see if I got my birthday wish for Nets winning, I didn't, but they came close. Dad came back to the stateroom and gave me my birthday present, just some small things. After that talked with dad about the day and told him I would see him later and headed to grab some breakfast. After breakfast left for a while and went to the shops and walked around the ship for a while and took some pictures and videos.

Sat and listened to my ipod looking out the windows by the Promenade Lounge for a while and met up with some friends, saw Ana and she wished me Happy Birthday. My friends and I headed to Parrot Cay for college club lunch, Mowgli joined us today, we all talked and Mowgli even sang me a weird version of Happy Birthday. After lunch we all talked to Mowgli for a few minutes till he had to go, then some of the group left while the rest of us went and chilled up on deck 10.

After they played clue we all played some Cruisin' For Trivia since that was going on. Mowgli stopped by and talked to us for a few minutes again and said Happy Birthday to me again and told Dave it was my birthday and he sang a short birthday song to me. After that we all headed up to deck 9 for some drinks and some food, we found and table and talked and chatted for a while

We walked around some and then I finally left the group and headed back to the stateroom and got ready for dinner. Dinner was good again tonight had lobstar and it was great, also had Chocolate Lava Cake which was great, the servers also sang to me and I got a cake which we brought back to the stateroom. After dinner headed to the stateroom and changed and I saw this.

Headed back out and went and saw Mark Nizer family show in Rockin' Bar D and it was good, after that walked around a little then headed to see Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic. After the show headed down to Rockin' Bar D and watched The Right Stuff play for a while and then headed over to diversions for college club. Most of us stayed in diversions and played some games while some went and saw Mark Nizer adult show. Rock 'N' Country night was tonight so went and watched some of that for a while in Rockin' Bar D while some of the group played games and some of the group was dancing. I think we all headed to the Gala Buffet and got some desserts. Some people got me a plate of desserts as a present, so I didn't need to go through the line which was good. We all ate and then headed back to Rockin' Bar D and Diversions. I think some of us went up to get drinks, but don't remember when. The guys raced up the steps to beat us girls in the elevator, that didn't work out well for them.

Woke up around 7:00am and got ready for the day and packed up most of my things, dad was out of the stateroom getting drinks again, when he got back we headed up to topsiders for breakfast. After breakfast left my dad and headed back to the stateroom, on my way back they said we wouldn't be going to Castaway Cay today because of like 50 knot winds so we got a extra sea day. Got to the stateroom and brushed my teeth, dad came back so talked to him for a few and then left and went and walked around the ship for a while.

Left dad and went up tp deck 9 and grabbed some chicken tenders. After that walked around and then ran into some friends and chilled with all them and we walked around. We went to the Atrium and saw the end of the character dance party and went and said hey to David and Mowgli, after that we all walked around the ship some more, I think we went and grabbed some lunch at topsiders. After that we went and met Mowgli by the adult pool for college club and we all headed up and played some basketball. After playing basketball I think some people left and the rest of us went and sat at the table and talked, saw my dad and got a konk kooler from him since he had two. We all went to the promenade lounge and played a game. Everyone got board with the game so we headed to diversions to see what games they had there. This one guy we were hanging out with was kind of getting on everyones nerves because he kept wanting to play risk and was competitive, so while it was mean to do we all just ran out of diversions when his back was turned, we went all the way up to deck 9 and just kept going. We went into cove cafe hoping he wouldn't find us, we saw him out on deck, but he didn't come in to cove cafe and walked to other way so we went over to the basketball court and front of the ship and played ping pong.

We got board with that and walked around more. We went down to Rockin' Bar D and said hey to David and Mowgli

We then went and hung out in sessions and talked.

After a while we all left and some of the group left and some of us walked around a while more, I left and went back to the stateroom to finish packing and get ready for dinner. Dinner was in Lumiere's tonight and was great they had the parade tonight.

After dinner went and saw the end of the talent show in Rockin' Bar D and then walked around and then went and saw the last show in the Walt Disney Theatre which was Remember The Magic!

After the show walked around for a while since nothing was going on, met up with a friend in diversions for a while and then left and saw charaters come out at Til We Meet Again

Went to Rockin' Bar D and watched The Right Stuff play and got a front row seat for Pub Night. Pub Night started and was great.

After Pub Night we all danced and took pictures with each other and the cruise staff.

So we danced some more after taking pictures and talked with Mowgli till he had to go since he was getting off the ship as well since he was going to the Wonder. We all traded e-mails and stuff. Mowgli finally really left us and it was sader then we thought. We all headed up to deck 9 for drinks and then we all walked around and then talked to some teens and then went and sat and talked by cove cafe. We then all headed to deck 4 and went into sea studio and sat and watched music videos and then we went out and sat on those chairs in the lobby on deck 4, we sat and all talked till like 2:30-3:00am. We all headed to bed around that time first saying goodbyes of course. Got back to the stateroom and got some sleep.

WOW 10 cruises :woohoo: My family is trying to decide between the Alaskan cruise next summer and an Adventures by Disney trip to Ireland. It would be our 5th cruise!
