when you were growing up that you never got???? This came to me as I was watching a Lowes commercial on TV and a dad builds a tree house for his son. When I was younger I always wanted a tree house! So what was your growing up wish?

I wanted the little million piece plastic Calvary fort with the cowboys and Indians. And a pony. And a go-cart. And a motorcycle.

I am sure there are lots of things but I honestly can't remember them now. I am sure that my mom could give me a list if I asked.

Not to be a downer, but the only one BIG thing I can remember, is that I wanted a cure to the illness my neighbor had. He was like a younger brother to me. Unfortunately it didn't happen. He passed away when he was 13 (I was 16). Made me mad for a long time after...

A horse :) The only other thing that I can remember really wanting that I never got was a package of glitter crayons. I think I was 8 years old that year. I have survived the trauma though ;)

Mainly, a pool and trampoline.

But I do remember wanting a Panama Jack t-shirt. My parents went to get us some, probably after a couple of years of begging. My sister got one, but they were out of my size. So they promised I'd get one when we found one in my size. I never got it... I bet you parents don't think your kids remember stuff like that. I think my parents forgot after a few days.

Hmmm, with 8 siblings, I would have been happy with something that I didn't have to share.

I also remember wanting a horse. I used to draw pictures of the horse I wanted, it was a Palimino. I'd hang these pictures up around the house hoping my parents would get the hint and buy us one. Which in itself was a laugh, since we lived in the city and had no yard, who knows where I was thinking of actually putting the horse. :)

An Easy Bake Oven. ALL my friends had them..and when I went to their house that is what I wanted to play. I saw one at a garage sale last summer (the real old kind..the green one!) and I almost bought it

My little ponies and saddle shoes. (All the cool girls wore them!)

(Needless to say, DD has both, and a powerwheels, and a play kitchen set complete with plastic food, and a play laundry center with ironing board and all, and anything else that I wanted when I was her age but didn't get!)
 ;)

A horse and an older brother. I had lots of friends over the years that were like "big brothers" to me.

kylara, I'm so sorry. To see someone you care about die so young must have been rough.

A Light Brite and a Mr. Potato Head.

A brother or a sister, didn't care which, but I wanted an older brother or a twin sister. Wasn't going to happen!

I remember wanting Lego's but my parents telling me they were just too expensive. I had a cousin who had a HUGE collection and it made me envious every time we went to his house to play.

I remember being really little and wanting this baby doll that was in a store in the mall that sounded real. You could here it breath and it's heartbeat and it would cry. And everytime we'd go to the mall I'd have my dad pick me up to see the doll on the top shelf of the store widow.
My brother wanted a Teddy Ruxpin.
