I have only been to 4 of the resorts. We have been to Coronado Springs 3x.
I didn't like all star sports.
The grounds at Coronado Springs are super nice. Just very relaxing. The rooms are nice as well.
Pop century is OK It just felt crowded but for the price it was a good deal.
Port Orleans Riverside was OK but it seemed to be loud. I don't know if it was just the room i was staying in. But I heard everything from out side. I would rather stay at Coronado Springs for the same money.
I want to stay at one of the deluxe resorts, but for the money and how little time you spend in the room it doesn't make sense to me.

Just for clarification - are you looking for hotels at Disneyland Paris or Walt Disney World?

Have stayed at all onsite Disney hotels bar the DLH and I don't think there are any to avoid, obviously a lot depends on budget and what you expect from the hotel.
Of the ones I've stayed at, my current preferences are:
New York
Newport Bay (Admirals Floor)
Sequoia Lodge
Cheyenne
Santa Fe
I'd have to add that I love the theming of the Cheyenne (much nicer than SL in my opinion) and it's only SL's proximity to the parks and it's breakfast that puts it ahead of the Cheyenne for me. :)

It depends on your requirements. If you just need your hotel to sleep and shower in then Cheyenne, it's lower priced and also a really lovely themed hotel that's easy walking distance for tired adults.

If you're on a budget: Cheyenne
If you're splashing the cash: Disneyland Hotel
I don't bother staying in any of the others any more.
I'd certainly avoid the lodges at Sequia as they don't really feel part of the hotel.
I wouldn't make an effort to visit Newport Bay either as our room was miles from the reception/restaurants! That hotel is too big!

Would agree with this.

We stayed at Newport Bay (Admirals Floor) last time, loved it, trying Sequoia Lodge this time (bit cheaper!), will try New York next time (with DH as it's closer to everything) but if I had the cash I think I would be very tempted by Disneyland Hotel!!! :goodvibes
It really depends on what you want from the hotel. Location, pool, restaurant choice, bars etc. They all have a different atmosphere I think...
Have you looked at the review threads on here? They may help with your decision too! :thumbsup2
