We are having an Epcot photo shoot the morning after the wedding. Do we need to get the floral refresh or is there a chance the flowers will make it?
I thought I read once that the bouquets don't have real stems showing. Is this true or am I making this up? If they are real stems I am thinking I can just put my bouquet in water and be fine.
I am assuming the boutonniere won't make it but I don't want to pay for the refresh just for that.

What type of flowers are you having?
I had roses, cala lillies, orchids and anemones in mine.
We had our portraits done the day after the wedding and I had the floral refresh done, but could have gone without it and saved myself the money.
most of my flowers actually looked better the day after the portrait session than the day of. And the orchids DEFINATELY looked better. they were open and full vs. kinda closed like they had been on the wedding day.

I am having all roses. I requested full, open roses but we will see what I get!

I had black magic roses and white roses in my bouquet.

Our ceremony was at 9:00am and with the reception and photos we did not get back to our room until after 4:00pm. I stuck my flowers in water. When we went to our dessert party, I wrapped the stems in wet papertowels and then put the stems in a small ziplock bag so they would not drip on me. My flowers were fine the next morning for our MK shoot.
My DH had black magic rose with a white rose for his boutonniere.

His boutonniere did not hold up at all. We had not ordered a new one but what I did was we had 2 bouquetes of flowers on our alter and then they were moved to our cake table and then brought to our room after our reception.

I cut one of the red roses off the morning of the shoot and pinned it on him.

This is a great idea! Thanks! I think I am going take the change and skip the refresh.
