Can I get bottled water as my DP beverage at a full service restaurant? I am not a soda or lemonade drinker. I would take any bottled water, not necessarily Pellegrino or a "high brow" equivalent.
Anybody know about this???

I believe you can at least at the restaurants that have regular bottled water available. If I recall there were several restaurants that we ate at last year that didn't have "regular" bottle watered. It was mineral water or water in a glass (i.e. not plain bottled).

Sorry, can't answer about bottled water but...50's primetime & Whispering canyon you could get milk shakes... some others you can get smoothies. Or iced tea was an option too

I know that they have unsweetened iced tea at nearly every table service restaurant, and I would guess seltzer, if not the bottled water.

If they have it you can get it. Believe it or not I had regular water (not bottled) at Narcoossee's and the Brown Derby and it tasted FINE. This is coming from a person that had to melt ice from the ice bucket just to brush her teeth because the water at the WL, as all Fla. water. was terrible.:scared1:

I am not a water snob, but I cannot stand the water at Disney in general! I wonder how those restaurants escaped! :goodvibes

The water at Narcoossee's was good (I agree!), but at Jiko and Kona it was utterly disgusting.

Wouldn't the ice machine be using the same water to make ice?

I don't know why, but the ice machine water was different. We used it to make our coffee in the morning and to fill water bottles. Maybe that is the same water they use at Narcoossee's and the Brown Derby. Can you picture the sous chef melting ice for table water? :lmao:

i'm not being snarky but i am wondering why OP asked specifically about water and received so many suggestions on 'substitutes'. There ARE people who drink nothing but water. I am one of them.
Just curious.

my recollection was that some restaurants had bottled mineral water on the menus (like Pellegrino) but did not remember seeing any "regular" types of bottled water on table service restaurant menus. You might ask, though, even if it's not on the menu they may have it available at the bar connected to the restaurant.
We always ask for ice water along with our soda or tea. Most places it was OK. Occasionally it tasted bad but honestly cannot remember which was which. Sorry.
Counter service, yes...they all had bottled water (I want to say it was Dasani...whatever is bottled by coke, I think it is.)

I drink unsweetened iced tea at lunch and bottled water during the day.
I just don't drink soda and no caffeine after 3 p.m. I like to drink water, (along with wine or beer!) but hate the taste of most WDW water.
No snobbery here, just practicality!

Sorry that I can't answer the question about the water... I can however tell you that if I find my water tasting a little like chlorine... I bring those little crystal light packets to add...
I for one, am not a big water drinker (tend to get dehydrated easily because of it:rolleyes1)....but find if I add a little of the drink mix to flavor it I will drink it alot more.
