OK we will be staying 7 night.Always have done theOriginally regular DP, then realizing we like a 4 signatures restaraunt I considered Deluxe but I am not quite sure I want that much food for 7 days.
So I am now thinking of doing a split 4days Deluxe and 3 days basic.
My ? is do I have to pick in order which days I want deluxe( saying first 4 days of my trip I want deluxe then the last 3 Regular DP or are they all on one card with the correct amoount of TS and CS for the week. I hope I am not confusing anyone. TIA

They will be seperate. You may even have to change rooms. Were you planing on staying at the same resort, you can change and try out another one if you want.
You will need to choose how many nights you want the DxDP and how many for the regular DDP. Then you will get them on different KTTW cards. You won't get the second KTTW card until you check into the second part of your trip and you will want to make sure you use up the first set of credits by midnight on your check out day of the first part.
Now I'm not sure how it works with split stays and tickets. I know with an AP or DVC you don't need to have a ticket pkg. for the DDP. Hopefully, someone else can tell you if you have to purchase another one day ticket or not for the second part of your trip if you don't have an AP or DVC.

OK, A family member is giving her DVC points for 7 days @ BC. So will that make a difference.

Yes, that will make a difference. You don't have to purchase park tickets in order to have the DDP.
I don't know if staying at a DVC resort if they will have you change rooms or keep you in the same one for a split stay.
The dining plan will work the same way I explained earlier if you do a split with DxDP and the DDP. You will need to finish your credits by midnight of your check out day of the split or you will loose the credits.

I'm pretty sure DVC will use more points on a per-night basis than on a weekly basis, but otherwise you should be fine.

DVC points daily will add up to a week. (sun thru sat daily = same number pts for a week) You will have to have 2 seperate reservations. They may link them together and not force you to change rooms. You will have to go down and check out/in. When you check in the first night let the mknow that you have another reservation and if they ciuold put a note on for the room cordnator that you already are in a room. Depending on how crowded the resort is decides if they can keep you in the same room.
