Transportation to SW and Disc Cove from Universal

I posted this on the SeaWorld page but I haven't received any responses so going to see if I have better luck over here.

How does the transportation from Universal to Sea World work? Do you have to set up drop off and pick up times or do they have shuttles going back and forth constantly?

Does Universal also offer transportation for Discovery Cove? Trying to figure out how long to keep my rental car.

There is a free shuttle (bus) from the Universal hotels to Sea World/Wet n Wild/Aquatica. It has 2 preset times in the morning and afternoon. You need to book the night before at concierge.

The bus does not take you to Discovery Cove directly but drops you off at SeaWorld.

thanks for the quick response, how far is Discovery Cove from Sea World? Maybe the better question is how do you get there for Sea World?

It is adjacent to Sea World. Not sure how far from the front gates though.

Apparently there is a continuous shuttle from Sea World to Discovery Cove.

When we were there is past June, they had only 1 departure time & 1 return time.
:confused3I wonder if that's changed? An additional departure/return time would be great!

We stayed at RPR
~ departure to SW, Wet n Wild, & Aquatica was 10:15 am

~ return was 6:10 pm Wet n Wild, 6:20 pm Aquatica, & 6:30 pm SW

really that late? The park is supposed to open at 9am when we go, you are saying the shuttle wouldn't even leave until 10:15am?

:guilty:Yep - I have the little shuttle schedule sheet right in front of me.
We ended up taking a taxi so that we could arrive before park opening.
I would prefer a much earlier shuttle myself, & a later evening shuttle as well.

ok thanks, I may shuffle my schedule a bit so I can have my rental car on this day.
