Things here are good. We went to Disney In January (during the wonderful COLD spell!!!!:lmao:) and are going back in October. We will be at FW from 10-17 to 10-30.

They are super simple to personalize. You can either handwrite the information on Natalie's invitations or if you have MS Word, here is link that teaches how to insert a textbox over an image so that you can personalize blank DISigns (like Natalie's invites):

I just wanted to say I think you are freaking amazing. You have some SERIOUS talent and I am in awe of it. I'm sure 75% of what I used last year on our trip probably came from you. I have no artistic ability what-so-ever and am just amazed by all of your work. I tried to personalize most of my own stuff last year because I can not even imagine how busy you (all of the disigners!) get with your requests so I tried to do it on my own. Yep, we are season pass holders. Seems like every Sunday afternoon we end our weekend there.

Santa gives the passes to us every year wrapped around a giant hershey bar. It is so funny, whenever someone opens their Hershey bar gift, the youngest one yells, Your going to Hersheypark! When he opens his, he yells I'm going to Hersheypark.

When we go to Disney, I make a 3.5 x 5 planning book that I carry with me everywhere. I include travel info, hotel info, ADR's, Itinerary info, park and show hours and restaurant menus among other things. I have it bound and there is a back pocket in the bag that I carry for it.

Hi Natalie! Thank you for doing the 2nd version of your Journals. What a great way to take notes and journal for scrapbooking pages. ;) 5 or 6 pages for the day's highlights, printed 4x6 - throw it in the backpack or purse. LOVE it! There is always something special a character will say or "a funny" happens that I want to jot down but always forget by the time we get back to our room. THANKS! This helps a lot. (Cause ya know, it just makes too much sense to bring a small note pad! :laughing: then it wouldn't have the cute characters on it. ;))

I am really excited to be in WDW for Mother's day this year. I will be printing your Volume 3 autograph pages. You made it SO hard to decide which one to print when you made 2 or 3 versions of the same character! They are all so cute!! I have no idea if the Bolt crew or the UP gang is going to be at the Animation Studio in DHS (or even someone else). Just wondering if you were going to be making a Mittens card? I looked thru the 4 pages twice but if it is there I missed it, SORRY!

For Mother's day I thought it would be fun for DD 1 and 2 to both pick a pearl. Just wondering if you had any plans to add one more pearl to your Minnie's pick a pearl design? So there would be 2 pearls on the oyster. (One of my favorites!) I was surprised you didn't do that on Erin's pick a pearl LO! (For those who don't know - Natalie's daughter picked twin pearls in Epcot. WOW!)

I don't know of a site that makes journals then mails it to you. I know you can email or take on a thumb drive your Word or Adobe Acrobat pages to Staples, Office Depot or a printing center. I made activity books for my girls this past December which I included a few of Natalie's journal pages, the mazes and her activity book covers. I put the journal page or jpeg image into Word then printed them out on my color printer, all on regular 8.5 x 11 paper, portrait, then took the books to Staples and had them spiral bound for about $4 each which included the front and back plastic covers. Leave room for the binding so check your margains. I left an inch on the left side of the page, everything was fine.

If I would have emailed the pages to Staples, since it was about 85 pages per book, it would have been about $90 total. Most of the pages I printed were B & W (so my girls could color them in and also practice their alphabet and numbers - 2 and 4 yo). So the cost of ink wasn't really an issue since it was mostly black and white. Natalie made some fantastic designs with the girls names on them. I added dividers with color tabs into the book and used the personalized names as pockets for stickers on each tab. Print the names or design, say 4x6, fold the edges in and glue the edges onto the back cover or on front of the tab dividers. Easy, peasy! I put some crayons into a small M&M's tube my girls had decorated with stickers, put everything in their backpacks with some more fun little things. The girls were thrilled! Kept them busy on the plane, in restaurants and in our hotel room. YEAH!! THANKS AGAIN NATALIE!! :worship:

Natalie, your work is incredible! I would love to make a passport my girls for our upcoming trip. I LOVE the pages you have on passport 2 under your 4 share site. However, I'm nervous about printing them out front and back and getting them all out of order, upside down, etc. Your other passport pages on your 4 share site and photobucket appear to be the 5 X 7 size. Since I'm nervous about printing them at home and messing it up, I would like to make a book from Artscow similar to the one you have on your photobucket page. It's on the first page under "In this album." The passport is on the third row. There a couple of pictures that show the autograph pages from your 4 shared site (passport 2) that I love. I can't find them though in the size you used to make the 5 X 7 book. I can only find the pages that are small and meant to be folded like a true passport. How can I find those particular pages in the full size like your example? Thanks for your time. I appreciate the help!

Anyway, I just found your pillowcase DISigns! So cute. I just wondered how they are meant to be applied. On the end, where the pillow goes in or down the sides?
I thought I would make one for each of my kids with your DISigns on them & a name fill, so we can tell them apart.

I designed them to be applied to the side of a pillowcase. I figured that I wouldn't want a transfer to be right under my head...... not only would it be uncomfortable but the design would probably be destroyed very quickly if someone slept on it.

I used your 1900 Park Fare Cinderella dinner pillowcase design down the left side of a pillow sham and in the right corner, I put my daughter's name in the Cinderella font, then I used liquid stitch to put some pink princess ribbon around the edge. Made one for my friend's DD who is also going with us. The girls absolutely loved them and can't wait to get them autographed. They plan to use them as decorative rather than to sleep on. I also made my DD an autograph book with all your 2010 pages, as well as your passports. Thanks so much for putting your designs up for all to use and enjoy!

We are going to do one seperate book for the charachter meals. We are going to Donald's Safari Breakfast and were looking for pages to use. We have saved yours as we were putting the book together when I noticed on another DISigners page they had other characters, Minnie & Pluto. We were wondering if you had pages made for them, and if not if you just had the backgound page to match the others and we'll just use them blank for those two!! :goodvibes

I am pretty sure but not positive. If anyone knows different please say so. Its the only character meal you can find Daisy at. I know you can find Minnie at Chef Mickeys and Cape May Breakfast. Plus she is usually at Camp Minnie Mickey.

Natalie, your work is incredible! I would love to make a passport my girls for our upcoming trip. I LOVE the pages you have on passport 2 under your 4 share site. However, I'm nervous about printing them out front and back and getting them all out of order, upside down, etc. Your other passport pages on your 4 share site and photobucket appear to be the 5 X 7 size. Since I'm nervous about printing them at home and messing it up, I would like to make a book from Artscow similar to the one you have on your photobucket page. The foldable one has me stumped too as to how to print :confused3 to have the pages come out correctly.
I used passport 4 and had the pages spiral bound at Staples. I still have that file if you want me to email it.

Thank you for your super autograph pages. I have used them for my boys books. Minnie Mouse in Disneyland Paris was thrilled when she saw her page.
She called her handler over to have a look.

Thanks for the replies about the Epcot passport. No, neither of those were the one I was referring to. It's passport 2 under her 4 share site that is my ultimate fav. (although, I love them all, so if I can't figure out the foldable/front back, I'll use one of the 4 X 6 versions). We ordered a new printer this weekend that's going to have better quality and be much more ink cost friendly than my old, old, old one. The new one will also print front and back as an option for it w/out me manually feeding it. We'll see if that works and cures part of the problem of me flipping images incorrectly. I'll keep playing w/ it. I'm determined to get it right!

We leave for our trip to Disneyland April 23rd. If you have time to do this I would greatly appreciate it. If not I understand you are so busy and extra time is hard to come by. You can post the clip art in PNG (transparent background) that you used to make your scrapbook, like princesses, Toy Story, bibbidi bobbidi boutique among others.
The program that I use here in Brazil do not accept GIF clipart. sector for PNG when he is with black background and I can not use.

Natalie...I have a question about your journal pages. I love the ones in your 2010 Journal on Photobucket, but I can't find a website that will let me design a photobook with 8x11 dimensions like your pages. Do you print them from home or have your final journal made from a website?

In regards to the photobooks...so far.. artscow was cheapest! I just ordered my son's to see what it will be like... paid $25.00 for it. (including s/h) Everyone else wants twice that amount because I had 63 pages to this book. A base of 20 pages is between 15-17 dollars, but then add more pages and the others charge .50 cents a page. Some even a $1.00 more. CRAZY!!! Another cheap way of doing it is to take it to staples. Have them bind the pages. May be a way I'll go after all considering I have to buy 6 more books... (that's $150 with artscow)

I wasn't going to make books this year, but.....my DD 11 is Disney crazy like me :goodvibes, she searches the boards everyday and saw your disigns, now she and son are begging for books. I saw that you are not personalizing anymore, is there someone here that has permission to personalize your work? My DD likes the autograph page with Minnie in red polka dot dress and wanted that for her cover, the Mickey with black border would be good for my son. I have no idea how to personalize these, do you know anyone willing to do this with your permission? Thank you so much!

2 years ago my husband turned 40 so I had made 40 birthday cards for him, which I had CM give to him in WDW (we would be in Imagination so I had a CM there give him a card from Figment). I've been looking at Natalie's autograph pages on Photobucket - the designs I'm planning on using are listed under "2008" and Volume 1 (same designs in 2 different places). I have photoshop 7...if you have it let me know and I will explain...otherwise I don't think it would be much help...but the short version is I use the quick selection tool to select the area I want and play with the hue and saturation.

I am just gonna throw this out there for ya'll...I notice most of you are doing autograph books and I am assuming you are printing them out. I just thought you guys should check out artscow.I printed my autograph pages there and they turned out awesome and they were super cheap. I had them printed on photo paper and put them in my own album but you could also have a 5x7 book made...i used these for my passports. When you join you get lots of free pics and they always have deals like free shipping. The only downer is they take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month...but they are sooooo worth it. I will post some pics if anyone is interested. I know people like certain versions of Natalies pages better but if you are trying to save ink this might be a good option for you.:cutie:

I had two of these made with free shipping and it cost me 20.60 which is slightly less than what they cost in Epcot and I like these better. Natalie has such great designs!!:love:

I also bought a mini clip board to go in the back to help with autograph signing...it is the same size as the book and just holds the individual page so its easier for the character to sign..it also can be taken out for characters like Pluto who usually signs on his nose. I also have big and small multicolored sharpies...yes I know I'm crazy...:laughing:

I read somewhere, a few months ago, you are no longer personalizing work. Is it all right if another DIS creative member modifies/personalizes a few pieces for my children? I was hoping to have their names added to an autograph cover you designed, and modify a couple of Epcot Passport covers/backs to have my children's names there instead of the other child.

I am using the 2008 versions, and I put two on a page. I save them from the photobucket website, then I insert them as images into Microsoft word, and then crop them so the extra inches on the top are no longer there. After I've printed them, this is the final product.

Make sure you open it completely on photobucket before you save it. I use both PSE and Microsoft Digital Image and in both you can resize to 300 dpi. What program are you using?

I can't tell you enough how much I love your work. I am so excited to print my autograph pages later today. Thank you for providing the blank star wars background. With yours, Sand and Modnm's help, I will have an autograph card for every star wars character. I have it saved in a word document so if anyone would like it let me know and I can email it to you - I just need to finish formatting it and hope to have it done tonight.

I know other designers can customize your designs but I have not had any takers for my need. What I am hoping for is to change Jedi Mickey to Princess Minne Leia on two of your tshirt designs. My boys really want me to wear something with princess leia :)

Nope, I just saved the pics to a folder, then inserted two per page in a word document, printed them out, and put them in a binder. That way I won't feel bad when I cut them out to put in the scrapbook. Here's a picture.

If you look above, someone asked me to add names to the passports. I was able to match it to Trixie font. There are about 5 or 6 different Trixie fonts. It may not be exact, but you would have to look pretty close to see any difference. One has a little thicker "s" than the other, so pretty minute stuff.

I believe Natalie is on vacation and has said she won't be around for a while. That is why I did the names for GoofyTraci. Natalie did say at the begining of this thread she was okay with that.

I would be happy to do it for you, but I can also tell you how to find some fun fonts. I was taught by many here, so it is fun to "pay it forward".

You won't believe how easy this is:

1. Google free fonts - you can be specific - Princess, Walt Disney, Pooh, etc.

2. Download them (pay attention to where you download them to)

3. Extract the file (It probably will be downloaded as a zip most of the time)

4. Once the file is extracted, it will most likely be a .tff file.

5. From the start button on your computer, go to Control Panel

6. Click into the fonts folder, and drag your .tff file from where you extracted it, to the fonts folder.

7. Reopen you editing program, and the new font should be there.

***If you are using a Mac, you're on your own...:lmao: I have no clue :rotfl:

I'm not sure there is anyone who can help me with this. I love the reservation cards that Natalie made, but I have a few restaurants that aren't on her photobucket site. Is there anyone who can alter the ones she has already? Or does anyone know where I could find some addtional ones? I'm missing one for Rose and Crown, Crystal Palace, and California Grill. Our trip isn't until December, so I am not in a hurry!

I know you said that you could not do any personalizations but if is anyone that could make one of these that had 2011 in stead of 2010 :worship:. I am not tech savay in anyway :confused3 I would love to get on of the epcot passport books that I keep seeing but they all say 2010 and we are going in 2011 so any help would be great :worship:

Hi Natalie! I came across a trip report with pictures of some great mickey head shirts. The writer said that she couldn't remember who created that design, but she thought it was Natalie! So, do you have a brightly colored, tye dye, swirl Mickey head??? Thanks so much for your help!

Natalie, your work is absolutely amazing, so beautiful...you are so talented and I thank you for all of your designs and efforts!!! I used all of your autograph pages for our trip last year and now I'm working on all of our projects for this coming trip!

I saw before that you had a scrapbooking section in your photoalbum? But know I can't seem to find the link to it, do you still have this up? I'm working on our passports and the autograph books and wanted to use some of your papers in the books as well. Specifically, I'm looking for the grey/silver paper with Mickey Heads on it.

Natalie is taking some time off to be with her family and vacation. She will not be in for a while. She has said that it is okay with her to take anything and personalize it if you want. I'm just stepping in and trying to help the ones that need some help doing that. If you can post the link, I can try and manipulate if and get the characters you want on. A lot of times, post the links for the ones you talked about above and I may be able to change them enough to do it.
