I am trying to work out rough budgets and wondered if anybody knows roughly how much Carolyn Allen charges to hire a whole gents wedding outfit (jacket, trousers, shirt, tie and shoes). I know it depends on the style chosen but I just need a rough idea. I also need the same info for an outfit for a 10 year old ring-bearer.
Also roughly how much does she charge to steam a wedding dress and short bridesmaid dress in a Disney resort room?
Thanks so much

Not sure about tuxes yet...but I was quoted $85 to steam my dress.:)
From the confirmation e-mail: The price of the bridal gown steaming/pressing is $85, which includes a short veil and a wrap. Crinolines (slips), cathedral-length veils, additional dresses, and tuxedos/suits are $20 each.

I got this via email from them:
Package One includes choice of jacket, trouser, shirt, backless vest or cummerbund (excluding Mickey Mouse styles), formal jewelry (studs & cufflinks), and classic patent lace-up shoes (style #TBL) for $125. A fullback vest may be added for an additional $15. The style of shoe may also be changed for an additional $20.
Package Two is a select group of designer tuxedos, Perry Ellis, Ralph Lauren and certain styles listed in the Platinum and Diamond Collection. This package includes optional accessories at no additional charge for $160. Please check store for details on accessories.
Package Three is a select group of designer tuxedos, Calvin Klein, FUBU, The Alfresco, The Parisian in Chocolate or Black and the Joseph Abboud in the Platinum and Diamond Collection. This package includes optional accessories at no additional charge for $160. Please check store for details on accessories.
Mickey Mouse Vests are available with complete tuxedo rentals for an additional $15, regardless of the style. A matching bow tie is available in all patterns or you may substitute a solid black or white tie. Please note that the fabric for these vests is no longer made and we cannot order more; therefore, there are limited sizes available. You must provide us with your event date and measurements of everyone in your wedding party before we can confirm availability
Formal Socks are available for purchase for $6 per pair in black, white, ivory, and chocolate.
Hats, Hat bands, and scarves are sold as a set for $75. Separately it is $45 for the hat, $25 for the scarf and $15 for the hatband.

Just as another thought for the dress steaming I contacted Loftis Productions on the Disney approved vendor list to steam my gown with attached train it is $75, I get a free tux (or BM dress) steaming as I contacted them through their website at www.loftisproductions.com the tux would normally be $25 and the BM dress is $15 and she comes to your room. I spoke with Amy my planner and she was there for Lori's interview to get to be a preferred vendor and she said Lori Loftis does a lot of the styling for their comercials as well. She is also a personal shopper and personal styler and she's cheaper than Carolyn Allen's.

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of this other steaming company. Another one to consider.

No problem! I was very happy with her quote and if you mention the website you get either a suit or a bm dress free! Plus she's sending someone out to the hotel for me on Sunday while DF is golfing so now I can be sure he won't see the dress during the steaming!

There is also the Men's Warehouse that I've read people rave about how helpful they have been (and will deliver) about but I can't remember which one....:headache:
