Thunderstorm warning...and within minutes, it has gotten pitch black out. You can hear the thunder coming our way...and it is just starting to rain hard...Did I tell you guys I am a wimp in bad storms... a BIG chicken...?????

yikes EROS not here Southwest of Boston....it is really bad here!!!
They did say it was a band of storms so hopefully it will be done with soon!!! :( :( :(

I just checked the Doppler Radar image for Boston over at www.weather.com and it looks like a single line of thunderstorms followed by plain old rain. Hang on glo. The bad weather will be gone before you know it.

Yikes it is scary looking out there. I think I will go home now. Maybe I can beat the storm.
Right down the road from you and we're in the middle of it. Not too bad tho. I'm a big chicken about them also but have to put up a brave front for the kids.
Kids were complaining when the interrupted toon disney..
It did get nasty looking real quick. We were just getting ready to go swimming...

Glo...I am in Mendon..not too far from Bellingham - you know, Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble..Market Basket (the 3 places we were at today)
I'm in Franklin a bit..the Stop & Shop plaza on 140..BJ's..Taco Bell :)
I keep thinking the storm is over and then another strike comes. Blah...Hope you are fairing well. :)

Jill I live minutes from the Stop & Shop and Taco Bell...as a matter of fact we are eating Hunan Gourmet..the chinese restaurant next to S & S for dinner tonight. I live at Walmart!!!!
Seems to have calmed down for now, though the thunder is still bad!!!

I was on here...the girls were watching "the Wild Thornberries" Debster...going to Canton?? Or From Canton to the boonies???
It is pretty quiet here, but boy were they some thunder boomers!!!!

I was getting a little concerned about whether you were watching cartoons or DISing. I was worried about your priorities. Glad to hear that you are making the right choices.
Is the storm over yet?
bfeller....you should know better by now!!! DISing over TV all the time...well unless any of my fave beef cakes are on. :D
Glo..were you at Wal_Mart today?? Did you see the crazy lady (me) trying to get two kids (DS 7 & DD 3) to stop running around the store? I swear they must follow me on their surveilenc (sp?) cameras.....
I tend to live at BJ's...also Wal-Mart. (look for a green mini van with a flag wind sock and a flag Mickey head on the antenna. Also one of those Been there, Done that, Going Back license plate holders on the back.
If you like Chinese, try Teatone...it's in the plaza behind Dairy Queen in Bellingham. Great stuff!!
My folks live in the over-55 development in Bellingham on the same road as Wall-Mart (heading up towards Hopedale/Mendon) If you continued up that road, go past Pop & Cork - we are about 5 minutes from there. Love the location...close to everything.
Just waiting for DH to come home...he works in Hopkinton. Hope things calm down weather-wise before bed time!!

glo, my kids and I were lost (on foot) in a deserted area near the Bunker Hill Monument at 4 PM when it suddenly started to get dark and windy...pretty scarey. But then a nice man in a liquor store pointed us in the direction of Pier 4 to take a ferry back to Fanueil Hall area. Made for a fun little adventure today. :rolleyes:

Hope you made it through the storms. I too hate thunder and lightening...actually, I am phobic when it comes to lightening (and isn't FL just the best place for a lightning phobic person..hmm, what I put up with just to be near Disney).

We had really bad wind storms here in Western Ma. this afternoon. There are trees down all over the place. Did you make it through the storm okay Glo?
I made it...lost some tree limbs in the backyard..but otherwise everything is ok....Hope everyone else mad it through ok!!
