'Meals for free' queries

Booked in to Newport Bay Club the week before easter. Trying to work out how the meal vouchers work. I have read the very useful sticky but have some extra queries.

Are the meal vouchers limited to a day or time?

Our kids normally eat there main meal at lunch time so was planning to book Lucky Nugget or similar for about 12.30 each day to have their main meal of the day. However, this would need to use meal voucher 2 instead of meal voucher 1.

We would then use meal voucher 1 for a hot dog or a light meal at about 4.30.

Is this going to be possible or do they want you to use meal voucher 1 at lunch time and meal voucher 2 after a certain time?

Also, we are arriving on the Monday and leaving on the Thursday. We won't arrive until about 5pm on the first day so was going to book Cape Cod for evening meal that day. If we are staying three nights will we get 3 meal voucher 1's and 3 meal voucher 2's. I am worried about lunch on the last day. Was hoping to have lunch again at Cape Cod at about 12.30 before going off to catch the Eurostar. Will we have a meal voucher for this day? If not, can we use the one we should have had for lunch on the first day but hadn't arrived yet?

Thanks very much in advance, really excited and want to make everything as smooth as possible for the kids. As they are fussy eaters this is obviously one of the things to try and get right.

You can use the vouchers at any time so can have your main meal at lunch time - the only problem with doing this is that there arent any places outside the parks that accept the lunch values so if you wanted to use them in the evening it would have to be in the parks before the counter service places closed (Caseys is usually open til after the park closes) or at face value in the village/hotel

You receive one of each vouchers per night - so 3 nights /4 days = 3 vouchers each person/ so you can use them any day you want during your trip

No but its usually one of the last places to close so possible to eat there after official closing time after all the rides have closed and as everyone is on their way out of the park

I'm sure I've asked this question before but I'm so fogetful (baby brain! lol!) :rolleyes1 Can I put the two vouchers together 1+2 to buy a "better" evening meal? We never usually do lunch at DLP as breakfast fills us up and we can go to Salon Mickey for a coffee so we will be stuffed with food eating three decent meals plus a morning snack every day! :rotfl:

No you aren't allowed to put two vouchers together unfortunately - officially at least.

The vouchers can only be used as lunch and inner, they cannot be combined but can be used for their monetary value. we got back Friday and used our lunch time one from the first day on the last day.
The lucky nugget is closed in the evening and is approx 30Euros per head for their buffet so you would have 4.95euros for each child and 10.95 euros for each adult to use against the cost
