I was just wondering.....if we did Disney Express to get into the parcs earlier on our arrival day, would we sacrifice getting the early breakfast slots that we would want at Sequoia Lodge?

We wouldn't be checking in until at least 6.00pm and would all the early slots be gone??:confused3

You can turn up to breakfast early even if your breakfast card is for 8am. It really doesn't matter.

Additionally, it only seems to be us various DLP forum members who actually want the earlier breakfast slots :rotfl: You will be fine turning up for breakfast earlier than any slot you get when you check in.

We have always arrived quite late at night and have been given 8.30-9am slots.

We were always at breakfast by 7-7.30am with no problems ;)

I
Like to think we are keen and enthusiastic..as opposed to utterly bonkers!!!
That's great news, thanks:)

You will be fine turning up earlier for breakfast at the Sequoia Lodge.:)

The only thing that you might want to consider is if you wanted to see if there were any Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfasts available, they tend to go earlier in the day so when you check in later on there are none available.

Good point, i've never done one of those before but maybe if i ask the following day early, they might have more available?:thumbsup2

Could you not book it anyway in the Town Hall..?. If you can you might want to pop in there just as you walk into the park to make sure...:)

Just got back from the Seqouia, checked in at 1pm on Monday last week and got a VIP breakfast pass which enabled us to go to breakfast when we wanted, which we didn't get last year. Some people did have aloocated time slots however there are 2 entrances for breakfast one for those on time and those who aren't.
With regard to the early breakfast at the park we got the last one, which was for 9.15 on the Friday at the Plaza gardens. I would recommend you think about this if you are considering it, the breakfast isn't of the same quality as the hotel no decaf coffe, apple pots, most of the time they raan out of basics like milk and mugs!!!!! It was very chaotic andhaving done this twice now we will stick to the hotel next time

Thanks Sarah, it's first hand information like yours that makes it easier to plan. never heard of the 2 entrances before, but guess it makes sense. Lucky you having the VIP breakfast pass! I hope you enjoyed your stay at the Sequoia as it will be our first time at that hotel. :goodvibes

We always eat breakfast at about 7am in DLRP. Or we have the early seating for Good morning fantasyland breakfast, which is offered for free to Disney hotel guests.

One reason why I take the early breakfast is to be in the parcs before rope drop, since im an annuel pass Dream holder, I can do fantasy land before rope drop when mainstreet opens.

The other reason is why is that at 7 am I know not a lot of people have breathed over and touched the food I'm planning to eat.

Btw the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast is held at Pinocchio's restaurant and allows you to do the fantasyland rides before ropedrop too. And the lunch is far better than the Cheyenne or Santa Fe breakfast, although they are not bad either.

Since the introduction of EMH this is no longer an option as the breakfasts in the park start at the same time as EMH so fantasyland and discoveryland are open to all hotel guests
