What did you guys do to celebrate your first (or any) wedding anniversary. We are going back to Disney and spending the night in the GF but I wanted something special to do. Any idea's? :goodvibes

In the morning we took the Segway tour at Epcot and ended up in Morocco right at the time we'd been married there a year earlier. Then we had brunch at the BoardWalk (where our reception was) and got Mickey waffles cuz they'd been on the menu. And in the evening we had a dessert party at UK Pubside in Epcot.

More info on that here...

Thanks, I would have loved to have a private dessert party like yours, but I've not thought about it in enough time.

Anymore ideas?

We re-ordered our cake top. It was yummy. We had a backpack cooler with us and I had brought some Tupperware. So each day we take some cake with us into the parks. It was really yummy and fun.

I arranged for a private dinner at the Grand Floridian during Wishes complete with our own butler. We included some items from our wedding reception and even had a cake replica made of our anniversary layer. Here is the link to my report :goodvibes

Right now we are planning on doing a Mediterranean cruise for our 1 year anniversary. We're still in the 'researching' stages of it though, but we are so excited!!

DH is "done with Disney World for a while" so we aren't going back for our anniversary :sad2: We are going to Europe instead. I already have reservations for our anniversary dinner in Paris. :surfweb: Sad as this is, I think I'd rather be planning a trip to DW. I did convince him to go to Disneyland Paris for a couple days though :woohoo:

If DH was willing to go back for our anniversary, I would probably order a replica of our cake and have it served at a restaurant. Read the TRs from lurkyloo and figmentfan as what they did was very neat.

We were in Disney for Christmas, and didn't do anything extravagant. All I would really recommend is dinner at Jiko. The food was fantastic and it was the best meal of the entire trip.

Also look into the "Nature by Design" Segway Tour. It's a three hour tour through the different lands in Epcot. You get to go backstage and as such you get the "off road" model of the Segways. That was also really fun. Not very romantic, but something cool to do.
