I'm the only one awake here. But I do like a few minutes to myself in the morning so I'm happy.

No plans for today but DS has been home from uni for the weekend (not that I've seen him as he's been catching up with friends and I spent yesterday at a Brownie leaders' training. LOL!!) Hopefully he'll be around today.

Good Morning everyone! I got 8 Mother's Day cards this morning from my 3 kids.:rotfl: They do like their arts and crafts. No firm plans today - off to see my Dad in hospital later. The kids have told me they have a great plan to treat me - watching Coraline in 3d and eating takeaway pizza - obviously a treat for me and not them.:lmao:

I have been spoilt I recieved lovely cards,some choccies,flowers and lets Dance for the Wii, the Boys are also cooking me Sunday Dinner this evening we are having Roast chicken with all the trimings, sticky toffee pudding and a bottle of Pinot Grigio is in the fridge :cloud9:

I have a lovely card from Eric and a Victorias Secret Pink shimmering fragrance rollerball which he picked out himself in the shop. I also got daffodils, a Creme Egg and a magazine :hug: Thank you Eric and daddy!

We are going to visit my mum this afternoon and then my boys are taking me to Pizza Hut for tea.

Got 2bottles of pink fizz, a tatty teddy pen, and a new tatty teddy "best mum" apron as they said my other one was fit for the bin - charming!!

I have had a lovely day with Kyra, we went pizza hut for lunch then went cinema and watched Alice in Wonderland.

Now my DS went in town and bought my gift himself with no input from DH this year [first time ever .....DS is not a shopper!]

DH was away to work at 6.30 this morning so he left me a lovely card for when I woke up!

DS woke me with a cup of coffee at 9am, very respectable hour:thumbsup2

then he gave me my present.... a beautiful new clock for my mantelpiece.... he wrote in his card

"time is moving on and I'm not a wee boy anymore but one thing will never change with time......you'll always be the best mum in the world"

:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9: I CRIED! I will always treasure both the clock and the card!

He hoovered downstairs ....without being asked, he asked me what I'd like for lunch, he asked if there was anything I needed him to do....:love:
DH came home from work around 1pm and just before he arrived in the door the florists van turned up with a lovely basket of pink and white flowers, lillies, roses, freesias and carnations all my favourites:lovestruc

We then visited both of our mums and when we came home DH and DS made dinner.....I've had a lovely Mothers Day:woohoo::woohoo:
