:welcome:
thanks for joining my sept 2010 PTR!!! This will be my 2nd ever PTR!!:) Let me begin with introducing myself-- My name is Desiree I am a 29 year old-- from Pittsburgh PA! i am a healty eater-- and excercise every single day-- its my outlet to stress relief LOL. which along the way i will share healthy recipes and my getting fit for disney tips. I have been going to disney every year since my honeymoon in 2004-- and have become a HUGE fan of traveling in the world in SEPT-- i love the low crowds, hot weather, and maybe a free dinning offer? i cannot speak highly enough of traveling to disney this time of year! This year my trip is going to be a little different-- this is going to be a mother/daughter trip:) which will be my 2nd mother/daughter trip with my mom--- my mom is my best friend-- and loves to have a blast!! My mom normally joins us for our disney trip every year-- but this year due to a new job my husband cannot travel to the world this year-- but he didnt want me to miss getting my disney fix-- so my mom and I started planning away:)

Here is a picture of myself:http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/disney%202009/100_0058.jpg

this was my first day in Magic kingdom from last years trip!

and here is a picture of my darling mom:

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/100_1839.jpg
we have so much fun together and we are going to have a blast. So when is this fab trip taking place? It will be taking place Sept 9-18....and this year we are staying at our first moderate resort ever:) which is going to be.... Coronado Springs Resort-- i am beyond exciting to stay at a mod:) we have only ever stayed at values-- because we like to do for longer stays-- but kindly my job gave me a $1000 dollar bonus that i get to out toward my trip this year!!! so CSR here we come!!!

So what are the plans so far?
So far-- we have airline tickets booked, choose the places we want to eat, and decided were we are going each days at each parks-- which i will post this all later in the PTR-- but-- we didnt book ou trip yet-- why not? well-- because we are holding out for the hopes of free dinning-- we figured we are going regardless but want to wait to see if the offer will be out in the next few weeks-- and then book. So that means i am booking my ADRS the hard way :scared1: I have to call each day and book one at a time since our trip is not booked yet-- but hey whatever works right? I will post more about the ADRS after they are all booked but so far i got one i wanted and that started today!!

I hope you will join my PTR journey--- this is going to be one exciting trip-- we have a lot planned and still planning a lot:) we love excitment in our lives-- and when my mom and I are together there is never a dull moment!!

up next---- flight times and why did we choose the times we did??

come on in everyone and join:)

So last year when we were booking flights- we have a very hard time flinding a good deal and ended up spending a arm and a leg!! ugh:( but -- this year we did everything the smart way-- we booked out flights very early--- on Feb 1st we booked our flights through airtran -- i just happen to check the rates that day and saw-- 69 dollars each way!! I could not pass this deal up!! I called my mom up right away-- and told her the awesome deal and we decided to book our flights right away!! but we had a little hard time deciding about the flight times-- this is what we ended up choosing

we fly out of pittsburgh airport at 11:00am on Sept 9th and arrive at MCO at 1:21 PM-- this was the earliest flight we were able to get out of pgh for the cheapest rates-- so we figured this was our best bet-- and would still give us time to get checked in at the resort-- spend some time in the parts for the first day-- and get a nice dinner in:)

Our coming home flights were a little confusing-- they only at a 8am flight back to pittsburgh or a 8pm flight--- so after some thought we figured hey why not take the late flight home and we can spend half the day in the park on the day we leave:) so-- we are flying out of MCO at 8:06pm-- and land in PGH at 11:01pm--- which we fly home on sept 18th-- which is also my 6 year anniversary yikes! LOL so maybe i will get to see the hubby for the last hour of our actual anniversary and then the next day we could celebrate:) I felt bad booking the trip on the dates we did because of that but its just how the dates fell:confused3 hubby is totally okay with it though!! and considering what i have been through this year-- its the least he can do ( more on that story later LOL) so we get about 9 in a half days in the parks!!! i am beyond excited. I am very excited about the good deal we got on our flights and cannot wait till we book our trip now:)

up next--- why did we choose CSR??? and how did most of my trip this year become free? :woohoo:

good morning everyone:) I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday morning:) i just got done with a really amazing workout and figured i would take a little break and update my PTR-- although nobody has commented yet:confused3 don't be shy now LOL come and join the fun:)

This year before we choose a resort we relaly did a lot of research-- more than normal. At first we decided we would just go back to ASMU-- its cheap-- its fun-- it has the disney feel-- then we decided something different would be fun-- so we started looking at renting DVC points-- which seemed like a good idea-- and we decided to go with AK or BCV-- but after reading some more we werent sure if that was the right choice for us-- although it i take a short dec trip i might try renting points:) We always would overlook CSR-- but werent really interested in the other mods such as CBR, POR, POFQ--so one night my mom was up late doing disney reseach-- and called me the next morning and told me to check out the CSR pics and threads on the boards-- i thought to myself " ok sure mom but i dunno about this place" but after reading the reviews, and seeing pictures of the this place and all the amenties-- we totaly fell in love with this resort!! The new rennovated rooms look gorgeous-- with a nice modern feel! We love that it comes with a fridge, has a marina-- bikes-- walking/joggin trail-- a spa-- and for me i love that its the only mod that has a gym:) which most people would think-- I am nutts for working out on vacation and at disney-- they say " but you would be walking so much" but excercise if more of a stress relief for me-- i love how i feel after doing it-- and i want to get my cardio up--and i have came a LONG WAY with weight loss-- thats its just part of my daily routine:) Also we love that is has a spa and my mom and I might book a spa treatment. Also to top it off it has a night club right on property which is rix lounge and OMG this place is amazing!! well-- from the pics i saw at least -- we cannot wait to check it out! My mom is all about going to a night club with me:) She is a cool hip mom! so this resort is going to be awesome for us! i hope i am not dissapointed but how could i be? LOL

The other thing that i am very thankful for-- it free money seems to keep falling into my lap for this trip!!! my company is giving all employees a $1000 dollar bonus, and my company also has a rewards program were i can get gift cards-- and i already have enough points for a $200 dollar disney gift card which i hope i can get a $500 dollar one by Sept:) I also signed up for this program for my favorite store ever which is New york and company-- and the program will give me up to $120 dollars in gift cards for each receipt i send them for gas and groceries so i can get my clothes for my trip... we are hoping for free dinning-- and we can cheap airfare-- what more can a girl ask for?

Well I have to get ready for a baby shower brunch-- but wanted to include a few pics from last years trip enjoy!!

Hi :wave2: I'm subbing.

I'm looking forward to your fitness tips. I have started to diet and have lost 10 pounds so far but I still have a long way to go. I'm interested in what you have to share.

We're state neighbors. I live in Ohio. My DH is from the Pitt area. :thumbsup2

Our trips will cross. We are staying at WL from Sept 10 - Sept 20th.

One thing that I thought I'd mention. You can book your stay now, add on the dining plan and then call back if/when it becomes free. I know a TON of people that book that way so that they do not get closed out of the resort of their choice (we stayed at CSR last year). If, for some reason, dining does not become free, you can remove it from your ressie later. Just a suggestion. :flower3:

Happy planning. I am looking forward to hearing about your plans.

I might go ahead and maybe book the trip-- we are doing on ADRS day by day to get what we want-- but it its making it difficult! As long as i can add on free dinning if offered:) Congrats so far on your weight loss plan:) I have been dieting for about 2 years on weight watchers-- now its more of a lifestyle change:) I have a lot of tips and recipes i could share. So tell me how did you like CSR when you stayed there last year? I hope we wont be dissapointed:rotfl:

Thanks for joining my PTR!!!

Hi!

Yes, he is def a Steeler fan! You should see his SUV. :rolleyes1 And we live in Browns country so it's interesting, to say the least.

I am in Weight Watchers as well. I'm sort of worried about Disney and the whole eating healthy thing but I have six months to worry about it. :rolleyes1

I did a TR last year (link below) if you want to see pictures of CSR, etc. We really didn't like it there to be honest. :scared1: Our fav moderate is CBR. We wanted to try something new but it just wasn't for us. :sad2: There are a ton of people though that love the resort so maybe we're just the odd ones out? :rotfl2:

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your plans.

I loved read your PTR so far! We're also going in September (16-22) and I'm bringing along my mother. And we had our honeymoon there in 2004 (April) as well. AND we got that same great deal on Airtran!

Can't wait to see your other posts!

We have never been there so going in blind lol any advice you could give would be great:) thanks so much

I wanted to pop over and tell you that we enjoyed CSR. We were in Feb 2009in the Cabanas 8B - exactly where we requested. It was close to a bus stop and not far from the Dig Site. The room was small because it had two queen beds. Before we bought DVC, it was where I was considering booking this summer's trip. We've only been twice and the first time was the Poly so that is the only other property I can compare it to. The bus service was great.

How do you like being a DVC member? Thats in my plans to become a member someday:) I am also glad to hear the bus service is good i have heard nothing but good things about the buses!! I can't wait!!

i hope everyone had a great weekend:) And caught up on sleep from daylight savings! How dare they take a hour of our sleep away LOL The Sun is shinning today in good old Pittsburgh:) its about a high of 58-- and i keep thinking to myself-- after spring comes summer-- and then comes disney!!:lmao:

I just wanted to talk a little about my fitness plans and diets. Back in April of 2008-- I remember looking at myself in the mirror and thinking I have finally had it with myself!! I was always really thin in high school-- then got married-- and was less active-- and decided i needed to do something about myself and this was the time. So.. i looked into weight watchers-- and starting counting points, learning a whole new way of preparing foods, tryed new recipes, and became a whole new person inside and out because of this! The weight loss gave me so much confidence and a new outlook on life:rotfl::rotfl: I have been " dieting" for almost 2 years now.. however its now a lifestyle change! I will never go back to the old person i was, but i do allow myself junk food within reason, and also if i have a craving i don't fight the craving because later i would binge, so i give myself a little taste of what i am craving and it helps! Right now i currently allow myself 20 points a day for WW-- i do not attend meetings-- everything i do is on my own. I also just recently got really into working out! I got a treadmill for my birthday-- and ever since i got it i have been working out a hour a day-- everyday! It not only gives me a great workout but reliefs stress, and gives me so much more energy:) So this is my plan and i am sticking to it LOL i will continue to do this most everyday with counting my points and working out. So what do i eat when i go to disney? I eat whatever I want LOL within reason-- i work so hard every day all year long that i figure that i am going to treat myself during the 10 days of my trips. I will just work out during my trip, and do a lot of walking of course and when i get home from my trip i will get back on track!

Now i would like to share a delicious meal idea that i had today :
2 bags of baby spinach
1 onion
cherry tomotoes
minced garlic
spray butter
feta cheese

sautee the spinach, onion, and cut cherry tomotoes, in the spray butter ( love it has no calories) after the spinach is dark green and shrinks down remove, drain leftover water-- add 1/2 of feta cheese-- 1 cup is 2 points-- thats with adding a little more feta-- less feta would be about 1 point. I also cook instant mashed potatoes and add mix in the spinach its so good!

Here are a few healthy snack ideas I enjoy:
~ 100 calorie pack of baked cheetos
~ carrots for 2 tablespoons of Roasted red pepper hummus
~ Spicy black bean burgers from morning star
~ cut up fruit currently grapes and strawberries
~ new thomas bagel thins with pack of ww cream cheese
~yoplait yogurt

I will leave you with those healthy ideas for the day:) more to come throughout this PTR and also by writing this it will help keep me on track!

Here are a few pictures from my trip last year:

Thanks for the fitness tips and the recipe. I just hit my first 5% weight loss with WW this week!

You asked me earlier why we didn't really care for CSR. Let's start with the good stuff first. :goodvibes

The pool was awesome. While I am not a pool person, the rest of our group loved it. I enjoyed watching them swim and it really was a nice pool.

The check in was awesome. Since they have so many conventions there they seem to be better at getting people through the lines than some of the other resorts.

We drove so we didn't need to use Disney transportation. It was nice to be able to park the car rather close to our room.

The rooms were refurbished.

They have a laundry facility. First time ever that we used a laundry facility but it was very convenient to our room.

What we didn't like:

The Pepper Market. We were not thrilled with the menu and the variety was just okay. I know that the resort has a lot of conventions and it seems that they just were not creative when it came to their CS dining. I don't know how to explain it.....

Paying for package delivery. You have to pay $5 per package to pick up anything that you have delivered there. I've never had to do that at any resort before, including the Dolphin. I had sent a number of things ahead of time and some gifts and we had to pay $5 per package just to pick them up....and we had to walk to the business center to do it. We were not able to just get them from the lobby like you can do in other resorts.

My mom had a terrible experience with maintenance. Long story short (the long story is in my TR ;)) she had multiple people in and out of her room very late at night...all to fix the same thing. We were at the parks and she was upset and called me about it.

It's just too "brown." I know that the theme of the resort is the southwest, etc., but I just couldn't get the "Disney feel" from the resort.

Even though we didn't care for the resort, there are a lot of people that really love it. I think that every resort is worth trying and I am glad that we did give it a try.

Happy planning! Can't wait for more dieting tips!!!

okay this update is going to cover a lot:) First-- i want to cover the ADRS that we got so far-- I think i mentioned before how we do not have our vacation package booked yet-- we are holding out and waiting for free dinning:) So-- we are booking each ADR day by day-- so far we got everything we wanted times a little off-- but still pretty decent-- i wanted to share what we got so far-- I will let you know if its a place we never tried before and you can give your opinions on each place this is what we have so far:

9/9- Liberty Tree Tavern 6:30pm
9/10- LeCeller 8:10pm ( times a little later but had to take what would could get for this place)
9/11- 50's prime time 6:30pm
9/12- Crystal Palace 8:05am ( i just love the breakfast here)
9/12 Tonys 2:10pm ( new place never tried before)
9/13 Yak and Yeti 2:00pm ( new place never tried before )

so tomorrow i have to call and book another place which i will add to the list once booked:)

second part of this post--another recipe idea tonight for dinner i made stuffed peppers its a weight watchers recipe-- you get 4 green peppers and cut the peppers in half-- cook half a pound of group meat, 2 cups brown rice, 1 packet of taco seasoning-- stuff peppers which would make 8 with cutting the 4 in half-- put tomato sauce on top bake at 350 for about 30 mins..i make a side of mashed potatoes with it-- very good.

So i want to share a really good drink with everything-- its the new zero vitamin water! all flavors are so good:) i drink a bottle sometimes when working out to replenish the electrolytes.

now for the next part of the post-- how we took our own pics are poly we wanted to get professional pics at the poly however our camera seemed good enough we took out own last year:) here are a few from our 5 year anniversary trip...

i have more pics that i will share thoughout my PTR but i just wanted to show a few of what we did. It saved so much money and we got ordered larger pictures online-- just a trick if you are looking to save some money!

I just want to end this post by saying Happy St Patricks day:)

and happy 9 year dating anniversary for my hubby and I LOL we started dating in 2001 on St Patricks day must be the luck of the irish!

up next-- of course more fitness details-- the next ADRS i got-- plus more...

would you choose the Plaza or Mama Melrose? We have been to mama's before good food-- not so good service-- what is everyone experience with the Plaza? thats so much:)

deslynnpatterson
03-20-2010, 07:01 AM
so nobody was able to help with my mama melrose plaza questions?:confused3 what is up with that ? LOL just kidding:) I got a few more ADRS that i want to post-

9/12- Plaza 7:50pm-- we added the plaza-- we are trying to decide between tonys for lunch of the plaza for dinner once we decide we will maybe cancel one or pay out of pocket we the plaza:)

9/14- Maya Grill 7:00pm since Maya is on our resort we decided to give it a try-- the menu looked decent:) and i think this is going to be a day we are going to stay at the resort swim, ride bikes, maybe a spa treatment? so dinner here is a good choice-- but i have never been here before so any reviews are welcomed

9/15- Sci- Fi 12:10pm Lunch-- we have never been here before but i am very excited to try it:)

9/16- Mama Melroses- 6:15pm- I just booked this one this morning:) we went to mamas last year-- good food- however service was a little iffy:( but we enjoyed the food so we decided to go with it!!

I have one more ADR to book tomorrow:) I will book that tomorrow and then share the final list:)

I am going to go do my morning workout-- i will be back later with some fitness tips/healthy food ideas! how everyone is having a great saturday!

Good Morning!

Yes, we did try Maya and we're going back this year. The food was EXCELLENT. We were very surprised actually. We didn't have ADR's when we went last September but the place was empty...totally. :confused3 I had the best baked potato ever there. I know it sounds lame, but man, my mouth is watering thinking about it. We've already made our ADR for next trip.

We've done Mama Melrose twice. Both times there was a set menu for the Backstage Magic Tour. We liked the food there. We're actually going back with the Fantasmic package this year. We didn't have any service issues because we had our own staff with the tour and everything was ready for us when we got there. They just started to bring it all out family style.

We've never done the Plaza yet. I had it on the list but took it off for some reason...can't even remember why! We've done Tony's too but honestly, we hated it. :sad2: The food wasn't that great. I love the location though. :confused3

I like your other choices as well. We loved LTT when we went. PT50's is fun too and I just love Crystal Palace for breakfast. What I love most is getting a super early ADR and taking pictures of the park when it is near empty.

Our days there cross. Wonder if we'll be at the same parks on any of the days?

Have a fun workout. Looking forward to hearing more tips!

We've already made our ADR for next trip.

i am so glad you enjoyed Maya:) I am really looking forward to it now! I love baked potatoes and that was one of the reasons we choose maya:)

Also we love Crystal palace breakfast for the same reason as soon going into magic kingdom when its almost empty-- its so magical and a perfect time for pictures!!

we love LTT too its a tradition and so is 50's:) Yeah i am a little afraid of Tonys-- my mom ate there last year with her friend while me and my hubby went to our anniversary dinner-- she said she liked it-- but all i read it horrible reviews:scared1: so i am really thinking the plaza might win out on this one!!

we will have to compare schedules once i post all my plans to see if we will be at the same parks the same days:) I hope you have a great saturday!

welcome:) Did you happen to eat at Maya Grill when you were there? I heard a lot of mixed views on it. How do you like being a DVC member?

We didn't eat at Mayan Grill - sorry I can't be of help... I love being a DVC member (but of course we haven't been on a DVC trip yet- that is happening this July.) I love that I get to go to Disney every year and we are trying to work it out to be able to go twice a year. We bought resale and will add on points when we have the cash.

I didn't mind the Pepper Market. I only went there once to get our dinners for the airport. (On our first trip we had counter credits left, so my husband got us sandwiches to go. We ate them at the airport outside of the Disney Store before checking through security. It was ideal. It allowed us and our girls a chance to relax comfortably before the flight. We decided that this would be our plan everytime we flew home.) I was stressed that I would miss ME so I rushed through Pepper Market. I read how confusing it was and that it wasn't a pleasant experience, so I was quite worried to begin with. I didn't find it confusing or problematic. It is a bunch of different stations in a large room that feels like an open market...I think its size might be what bothers people. I just asked the CMs questions to help me and got some great sandwiches and chix nuggets.)

Hey Girl  I hope your weekend is going good. Your ADRs look good :thumbsup2. We LOVE Plaza, we ate there all 3 times we were at Disney last year. Tony's was pretty good too, we ate there in May of 2008. I have never eaten at Mama Melrose's so I can't give any advice there. Tyler and I ate at Yak and Yeti last May and it was REALLY good, I wish I could get Dale to eat there this May, but he won't eat that type food :confused3.

Congrats on the dating anniversary :thumbsup2. Dale and I are celebrating 23 years dating when we go in May.

You joined me on my PTR and now I'm joining in on yours! We stayed at CSR a few years back and DH and I had a good time. We really liked the Maya Grill and can't really understand why others really don't. DH had a very good steak and I remember having something vegetarian that was also yummy. I would eat there again if I stayed at CSR. The Pepper Market wasn't my favorite place, kind of odd.

We loved, loved, loved the pool at CSR :goodvibes

I love your recipe ideas- keep them coming! I just bought the Thomas bagel thins last week and they are awesome. My new thing is whole wheat pitas. We eat them several times a week. Last night we had turkey meatballs with a sweet and sour sauce that I made for chicken earlier in the week and we stuffed them into the pitas. We also stuff the meatballs and a little sauce and a sprinkle of cheese for some meatball parm pitas. A few nights ago I made Morning Star Chick'n patties and cut them in half and put them in the pitas with some relish. Half a pita is only one point so I've been able to make a lot of easy low point dinners with them.

Taco Bell~ 2 Fresco style chicken soft tacos and cinniamon twist and diet drink
Eat N Park~ Classic gardenburger with honey mustard and a side cup of chicken noodle soup
Diary Queen ~ small strawberry Sundae or a small chocolate or vanilla cone
KFC~ 2 pieces of sweet corn and a side of mashed potatoes
chick fila~ small or large chicken noodle soup-- the spicey chicken wrap, or the 6 piece nuggets, and or a small waffle fry
Applebees~ I order from the WW menu - i get the portabella chicken sandwhich
Olive garden ~ Apricot Chicken

these are just some of the places i eat at from time to time-- but i mostly cook at home but these are all delicious treats from time to time:)

So i just got done having a good workout for the evening:) burned a little over 500 calories!! Today i wasnt very hungry but i had a huge salad for dinner-- people crave cake-- i crave lettuce LOL!! well of course i crave cake too -- but i just really wanted a nice big salad-- oh and let me recommend the best dressing ever its from aldi and its called " house" dressing its soo good!!! Its like a sweeter italian dressing. For dessert i had a slim a bear fugde bar-- they are made my klondike-- and only one point they are so delicious-- and creamy.

So i had just a okay weekend--- went shopping-- but really didnt get to enjoy the weather:( Josh worked all weekend-- he is always working weekends-- its really hard on me sometimes:( but i have the disboards right? one of the things i love hearing about is peoples disney tradtions! Do-- i think it would be fun if everyone would share one of their disney traditions:) I will start with a few of mine:)
1. We always have to start out going to Magic kingdom the first day of our trip
2. We always have to eat at Liberty Tree Tavern the first day of our trip
3. We always make sure we see at least spectro, wishes, illumination and fantasmic at least once:)
4. Always have to take a picture of the " disneyworld" sign when entering disney property
5. Always get like 10 fastpasses for soarin and go on a soaring frenzy!!!:lmao:
6. Always have to get pizza planet - which has a story behind it-- we literally stumbled into it by accident LOL this was back in 2006-- my mom and I went on our first mother daughther trip-- we were in the waiting area getting ready to see the muppets-- well - i get someone clastrophobic at times-- i am not sure if it was too hot, too many people, hunger-- but all the sudden i tell my mom " i think i am going to pass out" she drags me out of the emergency exit in muppets and we run into pizza planet and got the " junkyard combo" the veggie pizza- and till this day we still love it:)

so-- if everyone could share a tradition or a story i would love to hear some of your traditions:)

a few healthy ideas for tonight:
~ red beans and rice
~ lean cusine pizzas
~cherry popsicles
~salt and pepper flavored min rice cakes
~fat free pringles
~ baked salt and vinegar chips from target
~york peppermint patties
~ mini 3 musketer bars
~chocolate twizzlers

recipe: corn and black bean salad
1 can corn drained
1 can black beans drained and rinsed
1/2 cup chopped red onions
1/2 cup of newmans own light balasmic vingerette

mix together and chill-- 1 cup would be 2 WW points:) its really good- filling-- and a nice summer side:)

Now that it is just DH and I going to Disney, here are our traditions:

1. First ride we go on at the MK is Dumbo. Yes, even at age 57, DH LOVES Dumbo.
2. We must have breakfast at the Crystal Palace before the park opens.
3. Plaza is our last meal of our trip either before we go to the airport or before we go to the beach.
4. We always spend a full morning/early afternoon at the CSR and enjoy the resort.
5. We try every trip to dine at Fulton's at Downtown Disney. Fulton's is the first restaurant DH took me to when going to Disney and it holds special meaning for us.
6. We always sit and enjoy watching the little ones faces when they see Mickey or the Castle.

i love your traditions:woohoo: i love crystal palace for breakfast too:) its great going into a empty park-- and a great time for pictures--- slo i want to ask how is the Plaza we are eating there the first time this trip-- what do you get to eat there and what would you recommend? I wanted to do something more simple for a meal that day we do our crystal palace breakfast. We are going to for sure spend a morning or day at CSR also!! Its such a beautiful resort-- and seems like there is a lot to explore on the resort:) I can't wait:banana:

on 9/9/2010 we fly out of pittsburgh at 11:30 am and we land in orlando about 1:21--- so i am figuring by time we get our luggage ( if we decide to not let them deliver the luggage to our rooms), get a magical express bus to resort, and check in-- i figure that will take till about 3:00pm. Then we are going to head straight for the parks --- maybe before going to the park grabbing a snack-- since im sure we will be hungry from not eating all day:) The first park we are going to head to is MAGIC KINGDOM!!! Nothing like walking down main street for the first time and seeing the castle to really get the trip started!! we always have to start with this park first!! We have a tradition also that we have to ride Pirates of the Carribean first:) i adore that ride!!! ARRGHH!!!!!:lmao:

Then we will continue with riding other rides. We have 6:00pm reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern-- this is also a tradition-- i love the food here!! I know it gets some mixed reviews but i just cannot get enough of it:) after dinner we are going to relax-- find a nice spot to sit -- and get ready to watch wishes!!! The most magical fireworks show in the world:

after the fireworks we are going to head back to coronado-- since this is a new resort for us we want to spend a little time getting to know the resort and exploring!!

after that it will be a good nights sleep for us to get ready for our next day!!

So I have a little story for everyone-- i want coming home of the bus today from work-- i work in downtown pittsburgh-- a lady on the bus starting talking to be about going on cruises and she said that i have to go on a cruise that its amazing i told her-- that disney is my thing and that i go to disneyworld every year she said to me " honey you are too old to me going to disney you need to go on a cruise":lmao::lmao::lmao:

I couldn't believe she said that!! the nerve LOL how dare someone try to mess with anyone's happy place! I told her that disney is just as much for adults as it was kids-- and she just rolled her eyes at me:scared1:

well lady-- you can have fun our your cruise while i have fun on my disney trip:yay:-- so thats my little disney story of the day!!

Also i have been seeing some rumors on the boards about free dinning maybe being offered starting monday:banana:

my mom is taking off work on monday just in case-- we are nervous about getting Coronado-- and she is a disney visa card holder so she should be okay-- and can book 3 days before the general public-- does anyone know if its hard to get a room at coronado?:confused3

Also has anyone else heard any other free dinning rumors? If so please share!

Here are some Magic kingdom pics to end the post this is from last years trip!

We have one of the same traditions-

1. DH and I always take a picture on the first day of the Disney sign :goodvibes
2. We have to get a to-go order from the Earl of Sandwich to eat on the car ride home
3. We get a "turtled" rice krispy Mickey head which is covered in chocolate, rolled in pecans and drizzled with caramel:woohoo: from Goofy's Candy Co. to eat on the ride home (can you tell we like to take the Disney magic home with us??)
4. We ride the teacups and one of us takes a video of the other. Sounds lame but it is fun to watch- the person in the video is stationary and everything is whizzing around behind them and ususally the one who is in the video is cracking up.

Okay sorry guys that i have been MIA for a few days! Had a busy weekend and yesterday spent a good part of the day disney planning with my mom. According to the boards rumors were that Free Dinning would be released today-- well that was totally wrong:( so Sad! my poor mom even took the day off work to schedule our trip with free dinning-- :confused3 but i still have hope-- I believe its coming just a little later -- which last year they did put the offer up earlier than previous years. Yesterday we planned were we wanted to stay, how many days we wanted to spend in the park-- so today when my mom called about free dinning she just went ahead and booked the trip-- and we can add it on later  This is what we got:

Sept 9th-18th
~ Coronado Springs Resort:banana:
~ requested Cabanas section 8A or 9B
~ 10- day park hooper
~ Trip insurance
~ and magic express
~Basic Disney dinning plan

the total without any discounts as of yet is $ 3113.32 for two-- so we would each pay half of that-- we already got airfare back in Feb- but i am praying to the free dinning gods-- and any other discounts that could come instead of FD to take this price down!

I really think it will be coming though:)

Next up: Plans for Day 2 sept 10th
our second day we are going to arrive at Epcot around 9:00am. We always start in future world and work our way to World Showcase. This day in epcot has extra magic hours-- so we can take our time:) We are hoping that the new pizza place in epcot might be open by then and we can have lunch there. We have a 8:10pm ressie at Le Cellier-- a litle late but ill take what i can get-- and after dinner we are hoping to catch a little of Illuminations!! Then we will go back to the resort and either swim-- or do go to downtown disney!! I love downtown disney at night!! Its such a exciting place to be!! And thats our day two plans:)

Okay lets play a game-- name your favorite disney restaurant and least favorite

I'll start:
Favorite: Kona Cafe for dinner
Least: Whispering Canyon Cafe ! Yuck!

some fitness tips for the day:
~ watch a movie or listen to bump you up music while using a treadmill at all
~ Grilled chicken salad with chicken cooked on the grill is really good:)
~ prepare a fruit salad at the beginning of the week and if you get a craving for something sweet you have something to grab:)

Well i am off to get ready to watch dancing with the stars:)

Up next day 3 plans-- and still on the Free dinning lookout:surfweb:

i love earls! we always get a to go order and eat by the pool:) OMG the video of the teacups sounds like a lot of fun!! I am sure that is hysterical to watch!! That turtled rice cripsy treat sounds amazing!! Do you just ask for a turtled rice crispy treat? I am drooling just thinking about it:lovestruc

We order our "turtled" rice krispy treat just by filling out the form they have at Goofy's Candy Co (pick your coating, then what it will be rolled in and something to drizzle on top). I think it is the cheapest treat in Disney - only $3 for what I consider to be one of the best desserts on the planet! I probably never would have gone into Goofy's in DTD if I didn't know about the create-your-own treat option. My second favorite snack at Goofy's is pretzel rods dipped in dark chocolate, rolled in crushed reese's peanut butter cups and drizzled with milk chocolate. :teeth:

Favorite Disney Restaurant------Grand Floridian Cafe
Least favorite--------I really can't think of one.

i have to have my Le Cellier at least once each trip:love: :) I normally eat dinner at LeCellier and its so good!! I never really ate steak before-- untill LeCellier-- now i mostly eat filet when going out to steak places:) It got me hooked LOL!!

I also love Grand Floridian Cafe-- Josh and I tried it last year for the first time kinds by accident LOL-- we had ressies at Narcoossee's got all dressed up-- went over there-- and just didn't feel like going there  I think the whole 2 credit signature meal turned us off a little and we didn't want to eat anywhere that was too " stuffy" --so we walked up to Grand Floridian Cafe-- got right in-- and by far is was the best service all week:) I don't think i am going to make it there this year-- but its on the top of my list for sure:)

why my treadmill is my new best friend:
~ It lets me take all my frustrations out on him and doesn't fight back:eek:
~ I can run all over him and he doesn't stop me:cool1:
~ He kicks my butt without ever leaving a mark:laughing:
~He pushes me harder-- and sometimes he tells me " come on you can do it"
~He helps me burn calories and makes my pants get biggerr:yay:

What more can a girl ask for?:flower3:

So tonight i had a very good workout- my programmed workouts are kicking it up a notch :scared1: so i got my butt kicked again tonight !:yay:
I do have a excercise related questions-- for anyone that might know-- they say that exercising makes you get a increased appeptite-- then explain how i am having a loss of appetite:confused3 I need to try to get in all my WW points in a day and having a hard time doing it-- working out i think makes me less hungry? Has this ever happened to anyone?

Okay now for for the next part of the post-- I want to know what souvenirs can you absolutely not leave disney without? I have a few:)
1. This plastic cups with the sparkles and water in them LOL each year i have to get the new one that comes out
2. I have to do the pick a pearl in Japan in Epcot-- Last year i got twin blue pearls and my hubby insisted i picked another and got a large white pearl I got both made into a necklace
3. I have to go to Basin in Downtown disney and get a lot of the fresh cut soaps-- and i also like getting the sample bag of leftover cut soaps that they have at the register
4. I collect the larger stuffed big baby stuffe animals-- I still need big baby goofy and donald LOL i get a few each year

so i want to know-- what can you not leave disney without??

Here is my pluto stuffed dog from last year

good morning everyone:) i hope everyone is having a wonderful easter weekend!! I have a buys last few days! Thursday night i went out for a girls night out:) It was a blast! We went to TGI Fridays-- were they have the 3 course deal with $12.99-- good food and good friends:) It was a lot of fun! Then yesterday i had the day off work and i couldnt have picked a more beautiful day!! It was 84 degrees sunny and gorgeous! Josh had off work too-- i went and got a mani and pedi and starting tanning! So it was a pamper me day: Then Josh and i did some shopping and went out to dinner it was a great day!! Today is easter at my parents house-- and tomorrow we are spending easter at the zoo!! Its such a wonderful weekend!!

Now for my day 3 plans
We are going to Hollywood Studios this day i think around 9am. There are a few rides at HS i will not be riding-- rocking roller coaster is one-- i never went on it before but my mom would not ride something like that-- and im not so sure i want to either lol:confused3 and then tower of terror-- i was on it a few times before but won't ride it alone-- its okay that i won't be riding them doesn't bother me too much.

We will get what we can get in ride wise-- and will eat lunch around 11:30- or noon at pizza planet-- i love pizza planet and this is one of our traditions to eat there!!

Then we willl do some shopping in the parks-- ride more-- and see more shows-- and our ADR for 50's prime time is at 6:30pm i believe ( not sure don't have notebook in front of me lol) this place is also a tradition also-- i find the food delicious and it to be a lot of fun this is what i get here everytime:http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/100_1821.jpg

potroast!! Its so good!! If you never had it before i highly recommend it!!

Also for dessert

strawberry Sundae

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/100_1827.jpg

mmm!! my mouth is watering!!!

After dinner are wer going to try to get into the idol finals of the day-- and then we will head back to the resort get ready and either go to Rix lounge or Downtown disney.

Now what made us choose CSR? Well honestly we are so used to staying at values-- that making a choice to change to a different resort was so hard-- this resort sold us on its beauty!! It reminded us of a cheaper version of the poly-- with the palm trees and hammocks in the cabanas section which we requested. It seems to also have a amazing pool, it has a gym for me to workout in-- it has a marina-- we want to go on sea racers-- and do the surrrey bikes around the resort. And most of all it has Rix night club right on the resort-- it seems like its a nice resort for a adult atmosphere, on and all the reburbed rooms look amazing!! We are also going to stay on the resort one day and do all the activities we want to do-- and get a spa treatment:) i am beyond excited to try this resort:

Okay so a few healthy meal ideas

i have been on a lean cusine pizza kick LOL here is one of my faves

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/1a5879996fb430f4.jpg

i will eat the pizza with a small salad on the side for a delicious dinner that fills me up!!!

i have also been eating a lot of yogurt!

Target also has baked chips in salt a vinegar flavor and in black pepper and sea salt-- so good and two points per serving

okay now i to end this post i want everyone to name-- one ride/attraction in each park that they will not go on
1. MK- enchancted tiki room
2. HS- Rocking Roller coaster/star tours
3. Epcot- mission space
4. AK- Kali river rapids ( just cause i hate being wet walking around the park LOL)

And name one healthy snack or meal idea:)

Hoppy easter everyone!!!

This is the treadmill that i have-- its from walmart-- only $377 dollars-- and its a golds gym model 480 with Air Stride Plus cushioning. This treadmill holds a weight limit up to 300 pounds-- comes with 2 one pound weights, has 4 weight loss routinues, 4 performance rountines-- its a very sturdy well built treadmill for something from walmart:)

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/untitled-2.jpg

This was at my friends wedding back in 2006-- i started getting pretty big at this point-- but this wasn't my biggest yet-- i am the thrid in from the left standing next to the bride

OK you are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the info on the treadmill!! I can only use an elliptical because of my bad knees (14 years of soccer, plus a snowboarding injury no bueno), but it's great to know Walmart has gym equipment like that! I had no idea!

As far as ADRs, we are trying the DxDDP as our special treat to ourselves for our anniversary/Disneymoon take two. We're doing a sit down lunch early, then a late dinner at a different Signature Restaurant each night! That has always been a dream of ours, since we love fine dining, especially at WDW! Who doesn't!!! :confused3:rotfl: We are trying Les Chefs de France for lunch, Narcoosse's, The Wave for lunch, Yak and Yeti for lunch, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and finally Jiko! The other places we've been to before :) Thanks for offering! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes:goodvibes

I love the elliptical also:) Walmart has a good elliptical also for a reasonable price. The deluxe dinning would be awesome to do:) once of these days i think i might give it a try. That a good idea how you are going to do a early lunch and a signature dinner each night-- if i ate 3 sit down meals a day that would be too much for me and i would go nutts with it taking too much time away from the parks LOL!! I am looking forward to trying yak and yeti-- we were thinking about the wave-- its supposed to be one of the healthier choices food wise at disney so i might change so ADRS around-- i never seem to keep the same ones at make at the beginning LOL!!

Happy Easter everyone:) I hope everyone is having a great easter with there families-- or without there families if you are doing your own thing:)

Josh and I did our own thing today-- we went to the pittsburgh zoo:) we are having beautiful weather here!!! We spend a few hours at the zoo-- and ate at the zoo-- which was a cheesebuger :scared1: totally runined the diet today!! but i still have to do my workout for the day and will run some of it off:) plus its a holiday:)

Yesterday my parents had easter dinner-- they always celebrate there easter a day before so everyone can relax on the holiday-- which we normally would go to Joshs family-- but this year we didn't want to make the drive and just wanted to do our own thing-- we are having a great day today and its a very relaxing day:)

Now for Day 4 plans

Day 4: We are going to AK-- we normally try to get to this park very early-- since it closes early and since we only go to AK usually one time during our trip. Most likely we will start with the safari ride-- and then try to see most of the shows, and maybe we will get a huge ice cream sandwich and share one at dino bites. My DH and i got one last year and they cut it is half for us:) it was soo good!! we have a 2pm ressie at yak and yeti-- i am very excited about this ressie this will be the first time for us trying it-- and the first time for us eating at a restaurant at AK. We normally go to flame tree only when we are there-- but decided that we needed to change up the plans a little. After our late lunch we will go and see the lion king show and digest our food;) Two rides that we will not be riding at AK are kali river rapids, and EE-- my mom would not ride either-- i ride both but-- i don't feel like going on alone LOL and they are both rides that i don't have to ride. Most likely we will leave AK around 4-- we will head back to the resort-- get ready and head to DTD!! and hopefully after i get a drink or 2 in my mom we will try this

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/disney%202009/100_0600.jpg

has anyone been on the balloon ride at DTD yet?:confused3

I wanted to go on last year with Josh-- but the night we had a chance to go on it was too windy-- we the balloon wasnt going up that night-- my mom said after she has a few drinks in her she would go on:yay: I am really excited to try this!!

For dinner- we are just going to grab counter service at earls this night-- and head back to the resort and either eat poolside or in the room on our beds!

well its a gorgeous day out!! I am going to get the hubby off the nintendo wii and we are going to go out walking :)

okay so i want to leave this post with everyone naming on tour or acitivity that they did in disney outside of the parks-- such as the balloon at DTD and would would recommend it? And how did you like it? This will help me get some ideas for some extras along the way:)

Up next: more healthy tips-- and Day 5

as i was doing my workout this evening-- i was thinking about disney and i realized that i messed up my day 4 plans!! Day 4 should really be day 5 so now i am going to talk about my day 4 plans:)

Day 4 : sept 12th

We are going to spend the whole entire day at MK this day:) We are starting out with a early morning ADR at 8:05am at crystal Palace-- I want my mom to experience a breakfast there-- and being able to be in the almost empty park! i love experiencing that!! After breakfast we are going to start with finishing up anything that we didn't get to go on day 1. Right now we have a lunch ressie for Tony's at 2:10-- and a dinner ressie at the plaza for 7:50pm-- this is a extra magic hour day so we will be here the whole day-- but we are going to try to decide which ADR we want to keep-- we are thinking we are going to keep the plaza ADR and get rid of Tony's since we are going to Mama Melrose later in the week. we have never been to the plaza or tonys before-- so any info on these places if you love them-- hate them-- please share:) We are also thinking of in the afternoon since this will be a very long MK day-- to take the monorail over to the poly-- get some pictures on the beach at the poly-- and go to tambu loungue for a lapu lapu or a pina colava:) I want to try both of these drinks!!! This way it will break up the day a little-- and we will be back in time for our dinner ressie if we keep the plaza and then get ready for extra magic hours:) My mom is really excited to ride dumbo again :lmao: she rode it for the first time last year and loved it!! She is not too daring when it comes to riding things-- but she felt so good riding dumbo:) So i am sure there will be a few dumbo rides taking place during EMH. After EMH end-- or around 11:00pm we will head back to the resort and get a good nights sleep since this is a very long day!! Sorry everyone for confusing you with my plans-- i was just off by one day LOL

So this evening i talked to my brother on the phone-- and we decided that tomorrow we are going to start running:scared1::scared1::scared1:

I have been doing the treadmill for awhile now-- but tomorrow we are going to try running on a outdoor track!! so wish me luck:) I will need it!!! I used to love running!! I run on the treadmill/fast walk-- but i have a feeling this will be different LOL!!! I will let everyone know how it goes:)

thats all for tonight!! Just had to clarify my mess up in plans! Everyone have a great night!!

Hey guys:) I just wanted to give a quick update. I hope everyone had a wonderful day! The temps here were close to 80 again!! I am loving this weather!! I did not get to go running today-- but did my usual hour on the treadmill!! It was challenging today-- only because-- i starting going to the tanning bed and OMG i am a lobster!!! So yeah running today would have been very difficult!!! OUCH!!:scared1:

So tonight for dinner i made Mrs T's mini potato and cheese piergios the were so good!! and for you WW girls its 7 minis for 3 points! not to bad!!

I also want to recommend fiber one bars-- they are so good and very filling and only 2 points!!

and for a nice summer dessert here is a quick and easy recipe:
2 low fat graham crackers
8 tablespoons of low- fat cool whip
Spread cool whip onto graham cracker ( slighthy thawed) and put other graham cracker on top put in a plastic baggie or plastic wrap-- place in the freezer and you have a delicious large ice cream sandwich!! I usually keep it it the freezer for a few hours. This is only 3 points!! and you can also use chocolate cool whip also:) its a very good treat:)

Nothing too much disney related today- kind bummed that free dinning was still not annoucned today:eek: I am starting to get worried-- but they are going to have to come up with something good during hurricane season right?:confused3

I am also thinking of checking ebay and amazon soon for a new vera bradly hipster for my trip--- i am going to have to see which prints i like and then i will share with everyone.

up next -- day 6 plans--and our shuttle service-- and more healthy tips

Subscribing!!

Love Crystal Palace breakfast. We did it last year and will be doing it again this year. Congrats on your 8:05 ADR! So cool to be in MK before it opens. We did that with CRT last year and got some great pictures at the castle without anyone in the background.

We did Sci-Fi last year for lunch. Yummy spinach dip, a pretty good burger, great cherry cokes, and a cool atmosphere!

Unless it doesn't really matter :). Your adrs all look delicious! Can't wait to hear more!

We eat those pierogies often in our house- love them!
My favorite fiber one bars are the chocolate chip ones, I usually have one of those a day especially if I'm at work and need something to hold me over after lunch- my lunch is at 10:04 AM  and I don't leave work until around 3. One bar and a big glass of water will keep me full for a few hours.
That summer dessert recipe sounds so good, I'm going to have to look in my grocery store to see if they have chocolate low-fat cool whip - YUM!

As for the rides/attractions I will not go on:
MK- Astro Orbiter
AK-Kali River Rapids (I went on last year and got a rash on my thighs from walking around in soaking wet shorts all day!)
DHS- great movie ride
EPCOT- Mission Space Orange Team

hello everyone:) I hope everyone is having a good week so far! I have been busy busy!! I am trying to clean the clutter from my house and purge old clothes that don't fit anymore-- and have been working out like a crazy women, and hitting the tanning bed to get some color:goodvibes. Last night i went walking 4 miles with my friend at the track we did a walk/jog. Then today on my treadmill i upped my workout-- i am not doing 5.0 with a incline for a half a hour -- WOW did i break a sweat!! When i did my programmed workouts i wasn't breaking too much of a sweat anymore i think i was getting too used to the workout!!

Tonight for dinner Josh and I had a quick dinner at got subway-- one of my favorite " fastfood" places to eat-- we have no grocercies this week LOL its like mothers hubbards cubbard!!! This is what i got at subway
http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/e591b71f9224cd08.jpg

This is the veggie delite sub-- i got this on wheat bread-- with every veggie they have-- with a little hunny mustard-- this is 4 WW points. If i liked meat more i would have gotten a turkey sub-- but for some reason i cannot stand lunch meat:confused3

I also had a bag of 100 calorie pack cheetos with my sub

and a few chocolate twizzlers for dessert

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/pf_twizz_twists_chocolate.gif

I love chocolate twizzlers!! a low- fat food that will give you a chocolate fix!!

Oh and subway now serves breakfast:) i saw that today!! It looks really good i might try it this weekend and i will let everyone know how it is!

okay now for day 6 plans:

Today is one of those days that i think we are just going to spend the day at the resort!! It will be a nice mid week break-- and there are so many things at CSR that we want to do-- i think we will start out with swimming, maybe a surrvey bike, pedal boats at the marina-- and maybe even a spa treatment-- we will eat lunch this day at the pepper market-- and we have dinner at the Maya Grill right on resort so we can stay on resort the whole day if we want too. Also i think this night we are going to put on our party outfits and go clubbing at Rix loungue!! My mom and I keep joking that maybe we will find a successful business man on resort for the convention :lmao: what happens in disney stays in dsney!!!:rotfl2: If not rix's this right we will head to downtown disney for some shopping and maybe some back for a few drinks-- or head to MK for fireworks then downtown disney this day is kinda a go with the flow relaxing day-- which i am actually looking forward too!! I am also excited about doing things on resort!

Now for our shuttle service-- My mom and I are going to book through www.supershuttle.com its a shuttle service that comes and picks you up from your house and takes you to the airport-- and will pick you up when your return flights lands and drop you back off at your house. There are maybe states and cities that they service. The airport is about 45 mins from my house-- so it will be easier not to have to depend on getting a ride-- and having room in the van for the luggage-- it will be about $ 40.00 a person total round trip!! not so bad!! We wll sit back relax and let them do the driving:)

Well i am off to check out other PTR's that i have been following:)

everyone has a nice night!!

up next-- Day 7-- and why this trip is much needed after a tough year-- and more healthy tips

I work 7am- 3:30 everyday and take a lunch at 12:30-- I normally have a fiber one bar in the morning with a glass of water too:) they really do keep you filled up for awhile! I love the chocolate ones too! Oh i totally get you with the rash on your thighs from Kali rivers!! My legs were chapped raw too from that ride!! LOL:scared1::scared1: we should rename it to the " chapper river rapids" :lmao: walking around in wet shorts is the WORST feeling ever!! oh yeah and try the low fat chool whip for sure its so good!

sorry everyone-- I apologize for being MIA lately-- kind of had a busy weekend and a stressful start to the week. It all started last friday-- i woke up with a eye i nfection of some kind:( I went to the doctors friday evening and i had a very bad eye infection in both eyes-- so i have drops that i am using-- and it still isnt gone!!!:confused3 The infection was bothering me so bad that i just went to bed on friday night and skipped my first night of working out since feb:scared1: i felt so guilty!!! I felt more guilty because my best friend's dad took us out for drinks and appeptizers for happy hour at TGI Fridays-- and i ate bad:(

Then this past weekend I went out with my mom we did some shopping-- had a coffee-- looked at disney books at barnes and nobles-- and wow some of them are expensive!! Thank god for the disboards that pretty much tells us the same things:)

Sunday i got a haircut-- grocery shopping, and was exhausted by this point

Now for some disney updates:

~ As of today the rumor is that free dinning will be announced either April 29th for visa holders-- and may 3rd for the public-- :woohoo::dance3::yay::banana:

lets hope that this is a true rumor!!!!

My getting in shape plan for disney is also going well:) every few treadmills works i have to up my speed and distance and i feel so good when accomplishing a new workout goal!

Now on to my day 7 plans :
This day we have a early lunch at Hollywood Studios-- we are eating at 12:10 at Sci- Fi for the very first time!! This is my frist time going there so tell me whats good to eat here??:) I am excited to try this place for the first time!!!

After lunch the rest of our day is pretty much free-- i think we might stay at hollywood studios for awhile-- then maybe park hop, or go back to the resort, or get ready for downtown disney:) I like at least one day with not so many plans-- and we are getting our lunch done early so we will have the rest of the day!! For dinner we are thinking maybe Pepper Market-- earls-- or using that 15.00 dollar voucher for planet hollywood and getting a appie! I also really want to try the characters in flight balloon in disney since we misssed it last year so this night might be a good night for that:)

i am just getting very anxious for this trip!!! my mom and I am trying to figure out what extras we want to do our options are
~ Character in flight
~ behind the seeds tour
~ segway tour
~ MNSSHP
~ Night of Joy
~ La Nomba

what do you guys think:confused3? what would you suggest or what have you done that you would not do again? And also if anyone has anything else to suggest please let me know!!

now for healthy meal idea:

I made fried potatoes the other night-- and i cooked them in spray butter which is no calories--- added onion and garlic salt-- each average size potato was about 2 points-- It was a really delicious sub to the real deal!

~ Tonight for dinner i am making haluski with spray butter-- onions, cabbage, egg noddles, garlic salt-- would be about 4 points for 1 cup

~ and another idea is fresh zucchini with feta cheese - you can cook the zucchini in spray butter or olive oil-- add onions if you want-- and sautee everything till browned -- and add 1/2 cup of feta this is so good!

I love that summer foods will be coming in season soon:) and i have a lot of good summer recipes!
Well thats all for now i have to do workout :yay:

up next--- next day plans--- and what i might get to eat at each restaurant:)

We went to our first MNSSHP in October, and I highly recommend it!! It was such a fun party, and I can't wait to do it again in the fall!

What nights is the party available during your trip? Characters in Flight would also be a lot of fun!

La Nouba is an awesome show! My mom and I saw it several years ago, and I remember that we really enjoyed it.

Hey gorgeous mama!!!! Just wanted to say hi!!! Sorry to hear about the eye infection, but glad everything else seems to be going well! Fingers crossed for free dining for you!!!!! We've never eaten at Sci Fi but I've heard the chili and the burgers are great! We've also never been to MNSSHP, but we have been to MVMCP and if the halloween party is anything like the Christmas party, I would say it's definitely worth it! We had SUCH a good time at MVMCP that we bought tickets while we were there for our last night of the trip! I've also heard that the segway tour is fantastic though.

I just remember the atmosphere is so fun! My family and I did the segway tour at epcot one year and had so much fun! I would definitely do it again! I vote for that and la nouba as well. hey everyone:) I hope everyone is still here and still wants to follow my PTR:) and everyone is welcomed to join who didn't join yet:)

Life hass been a little hetic lately-- work has been soo busy-- that all i have had time for when i come home is my treadmill, cleaning, dinner and bed! I have also been having a really hard time with my anxiety lately:( I have developed anxiety so bad that i worry so much about things that a normal person would not worry about--- and it keeps me from doing normal things in life:( i finally broke down this week and called a therapist.... i feel embrassing admitting that but i just need to do something-- i cannot live my life in fear-- and with anxiety! It has been so bad lately it feels like someone has been sitting on my chest all day long! But i am going to get meds to help and learn how to deal with this:)

Now for my Day 8 plans:)

~ I think we are going to wake up early this morning-- have breakfast at the pepper market-- and then take a swim in the dig site pool:)

~ After swimming for awhile we will get ready to go to epcot! We are going to finish up the countries this day-- and maybe do a pick a pearl-- i love doing the pick a pearl-- i could do this a few times each trip! I love jewelry and also have to get my pearl made into something!

~ After being at epcot for awhile we are going to hop over to Hollywood Studios-- we have a 6:15 ressie at Mama Melrose... before dinner we will finish up anything at the park we missed or wanted to do again-- now for after dinner we are decided if we want to try to get into the idol finale-- or go see fantasmic-- fantasmic is no my favorite of the shows-- its just so crowded there! and i feel its crazy getting into and out of! or we might skip both and head to downtown disney instead!! This will be our last night at Hollywood studios since this is getting close to the end of our trip:(

Now for a healthy meal idea-- i have recently become a oatmeal eater LOL I never liked oatmeal before but its smells good-- and is so good for you-- and is filling-- so i have been trying oatmeal different ways-- i like the instant fit and active kind from aldi-- with fresh blueberries-- and the maple and brown sugar is good too!! I am still trying to get used to eating it-- kinda taste like mush to me still:confused3 so if you have any suggestions on how you eat your oatmeal please share:)

Well i am going to go and make some oatmeal-- catch up on some PTRS--- workout-- then i will post about what i plan to eat at each place i do and everyone can give me suggestions:)!!! I missed everyone!! But i am back:)

We all know how busy real life gets sometime and gets in the way of our DIS time. I've been swamped at work the last two weeks myself. And during that time we decided since we didn't have to pay taxes this year that we could afford Disney for four nights before we go to Marco Island. But it looks as if we will miss you guys....we arrive late the night of the 17th. (:

Wow- I missed a whole week on your PTR! So sorry to hear about your eye infection- I hope that cleared up without any extra problems! Good luck with the anxiety meds, I'm sure they'll make a bif difference

We ate at Sci-Fi last year. I can't remember what I ate for an entree, but I do remember eating their onion rings- they were yummy. I guess the reason I can't remember what I had to eat is the fact that we had quite a few drinks  I had a Lunar Landing (Amaretto, peach schnapps and OJ) was sooooooo good and I also had a few sips of The Comet (rum, vodka, gin, tequila and cranberry juice) which my sister had ordered. I really wanted to try the Orbiting Oreo (oreo shake w/ Godiva) but I knew I couldn't finish that too fast without getting an ice-cream headache, so our waiter suggested getting it TO GO!!! That was awesome :cloud9: We got a few cool pictures at Sci-Fi since it is so dark inside the glow lights in our drinks made our pictures look really neat.

Hey Desiree . I'm sorry I have been MIA too. We have been really busy at work and I have been picking up extra shifts and I just can't seem to catch up on my Dising :sad2:. Your plans are coming along good :thumbsup2. I think we may try to catch Fantasmic this trip because it has been at least 6 years since we last saw it. We are not so much the show type people so it doesn't really bother us if we miss them.

JMO, but I think you are doing the right thing seeing a therapist. When my doctor diagnoses me with ADHD, he asked me if I wanted meds and I had to think about it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be on meds all the time, but now I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I am on them. I feel like a new person. I don't get nearly as moody as I use to, and the Adderall has actually helped with all the crazy things running around in my head all the time. I too was so stressed and anxious all the time, but now I am doing much better because I can sort out my thoughts a lot easier. Keep me updated about your progress, I will be thinking about you .

Dana I am so sorry work has been so crazy for you:( I can totally relate to work craziness!!! thanks for your kind words about therapy and the meds:) I am waiting for my assigned therapist to call me back and make a appointment. You know about what i have been through the last few months and its making me very anxious and its hard to sleep, my mind won't turn off! Its not a good feeling at all:( I am so glad that the meds helped you and i am hoping they will make me feel normal again:) I will keep you updated on the progress for sure!! I wish my trip was coming up in a month but i still have almost 5 months:( but it will be well worth it! The only show i have to see is wishes-- other than that i can give or take the shows also-- so we will see what happens with going to see fantasmic. I still cannot believe you are down to days before your trip!! It seems like you just got back from your oct trip! oh how time flies!!!

wow we are getting pounded with massive servere thunderstorm right now-- that could produce damaging winds, hail and tornadoes:scared1: i keep looking out the window incase i see a funnel cloud and i will take cover LOL i will have to make sure to grab the doggies in the process:lmao: poor doggies don't like this weather at all!!!

So I always seem to have a disney idea brewing in my head LOL -- so now i am trying to get people together to go on a trip in Dec-- possibly staying at AKL with rents DVC points! I crunched some of the numbers and with 2 people in a room it will be cheap! With 4 people it will be dirt cheap!! I have to get myself there in Dec!! I just have to go LOL I want to see the decorations soo bad!!! I don't even care at this point if its my christmas present LOL i think i am going to try to go dec 12th-16th-- if i can find people to go with me-- anyone want to come to disney? :lmao:

Okay now to my last day plans sooo very sad:( i think on Sept 17th our last day at the park we are going to start with Epcot--- we will get there about 9-- and finsih up anything we want to finish up-- and leave there around noon and head over to Magic Kingdom -- we have to hit POTC again:) maybe a few times!! and my mom loves the dumbo ride-- so i am sure we will hit that and most of fantasy land, and the haunted mansion, so we will be trying to get a lot done! Then i might steal a plan from Princess allegra-- called drinking around the monorail! I will have to end the last night with a bang:) we will go around the monorail and get a drink at each place or split a drink with my mom-- then we will head to Kona for our dinner:) I want to spend some time at the poly-- and walk along the poly beach and get pics its such a beautiful resort!! Wish i could find a way to afford to stay there sometime :lmao: after that we will maybe head to downtown disney one last time--- and then back to the resort and pack:( we have a very late evening flight home on the 18th so we might still get to go back to MK one last time!!

next up will be departure day plans-- and what i plan to eat at each resort! i dont have any healthy tips today-- but i am doing some cooking this week so stay tuned for some healthy food tips:)

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I still have to do my treadmill today, some chores. I had all my grocery shopping done so early today and even went to the flea market:) maybe i will do another update soon:)

Reading through your list of meal choices gave me a little rumbly in my tumbly :lmao: that all sounds so good! Everything except for the cheese steak. When you live in the Philly area it is sacrilege to get a cheese steak anywhere outside the Delaware Valley- they just don't make them right anywhere else in the country!!:rotfl:

I have always wanted to go to Disney to see it decorated for Christmas :santa: but working in a school system is has never been possible. Now that I'm faced with the possibility of not having a job next winter I'll have the free time, but not the money- ARGH!! I'll be so jealous if you book that trip!

what kind of scale does everyone own? This is going to sound nutts but i have no idea how much i weigh LOL!! I know that with using my treadmill everyday and counting my points is seems like the weight is just burning of lately-- but i am afraid to weigh myself:scared1: a little background as to why: From 9th grade till i was a junior in college I suffered with a on and off eating disorder-- and then when i finally starting eating again my body wasn't used to eating and I gained the weight-- now that i lost it again i am just going with how my clothes fit--- but i want to weight myself but i don't want to freak myself out-- or get crazy obessed-- so i want to get a good scale that measures body fat-- along with weight-- then maybe i will get even more motivated! Since i finally have it al together:) let me know what kind of scale you have and how you like it:)

Things are going well for me. Nothing too exciting. I'm glad you're going to see a therapist, I hope they help. I can't imagine being anxious all the time, I hate it when I feel it at all. I hope it all works out and you feel like your regular self again. Yes I wish I had a ton of money as well, there's so many things at disney that I would love to do! All of your food choices sound delicious!! I wish I could come on your december trip with you! But my job won't let me take vacation time then. :sad1: You definitely must go though!

okay lets keep guessing:) Let's see who can figure out the other CS restaurants:)

So i was bored today at work and decided to check my flight and out flight times changed:scared1::scared1::scared1:

For the worse:(

we now fly out of pittsburgh at 12:40 and arrive at MCO 2:52pm-- i know its still early in the game-- and things could change again-- but this is upsetting!! I thought i had my whole day figured out!! GRRRR!!! I might check to see if i can change the flight but i might need a layover-- i am going to look tonight and see what i can do!

So i tried a new meal item tonight-- its by morningstar-- its the new grilled gaden burger thats 1/4 pound a 5 points for WW-- my hubby coooked it on the grill tonight-- and added a piece of fat free cheese-- and i had is on a wheat bun with griled onions, peppers, lettuce tomoto and pickles with honey mustard-- and some corn! I really enjoyed it:) when cooked on the grill it almost taste like a real burger!! I can see myself now lugging my veggie burgers to cookouts over the summer LOL!!!!

I will be back later with my last day plans!! Just dropping in real quick

Let's see if i can get some more guessing on my game:) good luck!!

I don't have a clue on most of the CS places :sad2:. Those roasted veggies sound yummy so I can't wait to see where I can get them. If they don't serve hamburgers we usually don't go :rolleyes1. I'm sorry to hear about your flight, maybe you can find something earlier so you won't be so tired by the time you get to Disney. I know by that time of day I am starting to wind down :rolleyes1.

:worship::woohoo::dance3:okay so-- i apologize for being away for a few days-- but i completely have a reason for it!! First of all i was a girl with a plan:) I got a plan in my head that i just couldnt stop thinking about till it happened so here goes.............................................. .................................................. ........

I WILL BE IN DISNEYWORLD IN 12 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1::thumbsup2:)

so we will be going to disney twice this year! This was totally a spur of the moment trip!!!! so how did this all come about? Well-- my mom and i were talking the other day about how life is just stressing us out-- and my brother was all stressed out-- so my mom said lets go on vacation! And I suggested renting points throught DVC for people you are trying to sale points! So we kept looking and looking-- and our original resort that we wanted which was AKL was all booked up, everything was booked up for that matter-- so we thought nothing was going to happen and almost gave up home. Then we found out SSR had openings at a studio for our dates--- and found a wonderful renter to rent points with:) So we got all booked at SSR for May 15th thru 19th! I am beyond excited!! Its the kind of I can't eat of sleep excitment in the best of ways:)

so who is all going on this trip? My mom, me and my brother:) my dad was going to come but opted out to stay home with " bubbie" his chihuahua puppy:lmao: we are getting a late afternoon flight out of Pittsburgh at 3:17pm-- and will land orlando at 5:28 pm, then we will get MME to SSR-- and since we are arriving late-- and since DTD is so close we are going to go to DTD this night:) We also scored a good deal on airfare for so last minute! We got the airfare for both ways for 94 each! not bad! And i have enough disney gift cards that is pretty much almost covers the QSDP for all of us!! So we are adding that on our ressie ! we did however only get a 4 day base ticket this year-- but thats okay-- we won't have time to really be park hoping all over the place for our short trip! We want to try to get as much as possible done! so here is our mini version of our plans

May 15th: DTD dinner at Earls
May 16th: Epcot-- the very last day for the flower and garden festival!! How lucky are we!! We will get lunch someplace in epcot most likely electric umbrella-- or sunshine easons
May 17th: MAGICA KINGDOM!!!! awesome thing is its open till 2am this night!!! With the extra magic hours!!! I cannot wait!! We will eat lunch at pecos bills and dinning at Cosmc rays
May18th: Hollywood Studios-- lunch -- pizza planet-- dinner-- either DTD or at SSR resort
May 19th: Magic Kingdom-- lunch maybe at Pecos bills again or cosmic rays-- and then we get a 9pm flight out of Orlando back to pittsburgh!

I feel like this is all a dream and cannot believe in 12 days i will be in disney!! and that i get to go back in SEPT!! how lucky can i get??!!!

So - that is what i have been up to lately:) I am going to get dinner started, work out, and i will be back with more details for both trips:) TA- TA for now:)

HOW EXCITING!!!! I wish I was going this month!

Oh man, now I'm dreaming of a sandwich from Earls! Have you been around Thanksgiving when they had the "thanksgiving dinner" sandwich? That's not what it's called, lol, but it has turkey and dressing and cranberry sauce... it sounded like the most disgusting thing ever at first, but then I tried it and I was in LOVE.

Sounds like it's going to be a great spur of the moment trip!!

I'm so jealous! I'd love to be going to WDW in less than two weeks. That's great that you are able to go and have a stress-free trip with your family.

And yay for September! :woohoo: I hope to see you there while I'll be working!

The spur of the moment trips are the most fun because you don't spend all the time building them up in your head. I think that is why our 4th of July trip last year was so much fun.

I bet, I would love to go twice, of course I am going to disneyland so I guess that counts! We're doing the qsdp, it's what we would get with the free dinning plus we felt like we would waste too much time having to go and take a long dinner every night. It is an awesome deal! I'm so excited for you! Can't wait to hear all about it!

i know Dana-- I am sad we are going to miss each other too:( so close to actually being able to met!!! maybe next year:) This is the first spur of the moment trip i have ever done-- and you are right i think this is why its so exciting-- do you think with the may crowds we should be able to do each park in one day? or the main attractions? If we get to the parks by like 9am? I am nervous about the may crowds compared to sept! But i am just going to go with it:) I think we are going to skip animal kingdom for the may trip and just go to MK twice! Since its a big park might take the most time to finish up and of course i have to say goodbye to the castle the last day-- but u can see-- see you in sept once i leave:) I am exctied about staying at SSR its all just such a thrill and feels like a dream:)

Tomorrow my mom and I are going shopping:) I have a really good coupon for Express-- that i hope to use-- there are a few tank tops i would like to get for my trip:) sat i am going to get my suitcase out and start packing:cool1: I have to try to go tanning most days this week so the florida sun does not fry me:) I have been tanning since April so i have a pretty good tan so i hope i will be okay! I am just hoping we can get a lot done in out short trip! I think we will be okay as long as we get to the parks when they open and get FPAsses----- i am really looking forward to what my brother thinks of everything since its been so long since he has been there. I know for sure that he will love soarin and i can't wait till he gets to go on it:) I am also really looking forward to the Flower and Garden festival and we get there just in time-- the last day-- of the festival we will be there!! I will be sure to post lots of pretty flowers pictures when i get back:) I hope that may is comparable to sept with crowds-- i am very scared of the crowds:scared1: but i just have to think positive and we will get everything done:) we are fast walkers:)

well i am off to work out-- and sit outside for awhile its a very pretty evening in pittsburgh:)

Girl, I am so jealous. You are going to have so much fun . The May crowds are not bad, no worse than Sept. You will love the F and G festival. I hate that we are going to miss it. We saw it in 2008 and 2009 and it is so pretty. There won't be anything special going on when we are there, but it will still be Disney :goodvibes. I know you are going to love SSR. You will have to let me know how you like it because I really want to stay at a deluxe one day.

hello everyone!! I am back from my 5 day May trip!!! It was a wonderful trip with my mom and brother-- my brother has not been there since he was 12 and is now 26 and he loved it!! i am going to do a mini trip report in my sept PTR:)

Day1: May 15th: we left pittsburgh airport on a 3:17pm flight it was a very smooth flight to orlando. we flew airtran-- i love that they have free xm radio on flight-- except it woud figure that my seat was the seat without the working xm radio:( oh well-- i occupied myself by eating cherry licorice nibs and jelly belly jelly beans LOL!!. We landed in orlando on time-- and then went to get the MME-- which came pretty quickly i believe after we got our luggage and go on the bus it was around 6pm. I always enjoy the ride from the airport to the resort. We rented DVC points and stayed at SSR resort-- the lobby was beautiful!! we had a easy check in-- and added on our QS dinning plan-- we were put in congress park-- which was about a 10 min walk from the mail building-- and we carried our luggage the whole way-- SSR really is a beautiful resort!! the fountains and beautful and the view from downtown disney is wonderful at night-- and you can take a ferry to DTD, bus or walk. The only issue we had with SSR was that its SOOO BIG!!! its very spread out-- and it was a little confusing getting around--but thankfully we were placed in a good section that was close to the bus stop and a short walk to the main building.

After we got checked in-- and changed-- we headed over to DTD we took the bus-- we got dinner first since we were staring and we went to Earls:) i got the Earls Best BLT and my mom got the Earls Club and we had half of each-- it was soo good!! While we were eating they had some guy by earls getting everyone involved in dancing and had a little dance competition it was so much fun to watch:) after dinner we walked around in the shops-- and walked down to Bongos and had a beer. They have a area set up outside with little wicker chairs, and had candles lite-- it was so nice-- and there was a nice breeze blowing! It was a beautiful night! After our beer we walked around a little more-- and then took the ferry back to SSR-- the ferry was a nice relaxing ride-- and got us back to the resort really quick! We got back to the resort unpacked and went to sleep:)

Next up day 2 epcot!

May 16th: epcot day!! I was the mover and the shaker of this trip-- i woke up before 7 and for showered and ready then i woke my mom and brother up:) today was our epcot day!! we got to epcot around 9:10-- we stoped at the main buidling first to fill up our mugs at Artist palette-- and we got on the bus at the springs bus stop. I was a little nervous about the may crowds-- since i am so used to going in sept-- but the crowds seemed to be very manageable. We went on spaceship earth first-- which is one of my favoritres-- then we headed over and soaring only had a 40 min wait-- so we waited then got a fast pass when we got off, then we headed over to the land ride. Our fastpass was for 12:30-1:30 so we decided to eat lunch around 11:30-- we went to the electric umbrella--I had a chicken nuggets basket with fries-- and chocolate chips cookies for dessert! The basket was HUGE i think there were 8 or more nuggets and ons of fries so good! Of course i couldnt eat it all-- but it was delicious!! After lunch we went back and used on fastpass for soaring. After that we decided to go around the countries. We stopped a morocco for a adult beverage-- my brother got a beer and my mom and I got a strawberry daquiri-- it was just okay to me-- a little strong so my brother drank the rest of mine. Then in german my brother and my mom got a beer-- i just had water--- and we got all around the countries and it was looking like rain so we decided to get a test track fast pass and went into universe of energy-- that show is just okay to me-- its very drawn out-- went we came out it was raining pretty hard-- so on went the good old disney ponchos:) then we went to club cool so my brother could of course try the beverly:) he of course thought it was horrible LOL! Then didn't have my favorite Kinsley this time-- but a few were good:) we then went on test track which my brother loved-- and we went on the clammobiles:), and decided we should find a place for illuminations-- but decided we wanted a snack so we walked a little past mexico and there is this little place that has strawerry sundaes they are soo good! we each got a sundae-- and tried looking for a Illuminations place-- but we werent finding a good spot-- we were tired-- i made a huge disney mistake that day and wore flip flips:scared1: the bottons of my feet were killing me-- so we decided we would skip illunmiations and go back to the resort for dinner. We ate at atrist Pallete and we got the meal special for the day which was meatloaf, mashed poatotes, and corn-- it was pretty yummy:) Then we decided it was a nice night to soak in the hot tub-- we changed into our swim suits-- and went to the quiet pool near congress park-- we met some nice people in the hot tub who were DVC members and who were telling us about different resorts:) its always nice metting new people:) then we headed back to our room close to midnght and got ready for bed. Overall the crowds at epcot werent bad at all-- the crowds reminded me a lot like sept-- May might be my new fave time to go:) the weather is so much less humid and there is a brreze in the air!! it was great!

next up MK day with EMH!

may 17th
today was our very long MK day:) I was again being the mover and the shaker-- its sometimes frustrating getting my mom and brother going in the morning LOL!! we got to MK around 10am-- later than i wanted-- but since we had EMH till 2am it was all good:) My brother and I started with Space Mountain he wanted to go on it so bad-- so we got in line-- it was only a 30 min wait not to bad-- this was the only day of the week we saw crowds at the parks- MK was pretty crowded this day-- but it think it was because it closed at 5pm the day before. afer mission space we did carousel or progress, the tomorrowland transportation, and decided we would hit everything else later in that area since the lines were pretty long! We then decided it was lunch time---we went to pecos bills:) we all got the same-- the pulled pork sanwhich with the fries, and cookies for dessert! It was soo good!!! after lunch we went on thunder mountain, pirates , and did everyhting in adventureland, and frontier land-- after hauted manison we started heading to fantasyland and it looked like rain and we needed a brek-- my mom and brother found a seat in Pinnichios and i ran and got us a popcorn to share while they got drinks for us. as soon as i got the popcorn it started raining-- and once i got back inside Pinnichios it was pouring! So we took our popcorn break-- and drink break:) after the rain finally cleared we did what we could in fantasyland -- and then decided we would go over to the poly for some drinks-- the park was just getting too crowded at this point-- and we needed to get away for a little while-- we had till 2am ! So we took the monorail over to the poly-- and we got some drinks:) I got my first Pina Colava-- i love this drink!! It was delicious!!! We stayed at the poly for a little while relaxing-- and staying cool-- then decided to go back-- and get a spot for spectro and wishes. There were 2 showing of spectro this night-- we watched the 9pm show, and we had a spot up top in the front ot MK were the train leaves off-- we could see everything good-- execept for the people trying to squeeze in and take spots up-- we were like sardines! but i wasnt moving i wanted to see spectro and wishes!! I got a lot of good pics of spectro and wishes that i will try to post later. we stood for 2 hours watching them almost-- but it was worth it:) after there were so many people pouring out of the parks we didn;'t even know that many people were in the parks!! we tryed to stay out of the way for awhile-- and then went to Cosmic Rays for dinner-- i got the chicken and rib combo-- that came with mashed potatoes, green beans, got the triple choc cake for dessert and a large diet coke:) it was soo good!!! after we ate-- we stated hitting a lot of the rides and attractions we missed earlier---we ended up being in MK till around 1:30-- the longest we waiting for anything was for Dumbo LOL my mom loves dumbo so it was worth the wait. As soon as we got back to SSR we got in pjs and bed:) it was a long productive day!! it was a great day:)

up next Hollywood Studios day-- and stopped over to see coronado springs for our sept trip.. did i love it? or hate it? find out soon!

Not very nice leaving me hanging about the CSR. :scared1:

so today is DHS day! We got to DHS around 10:00am again if it was up to me it would have been a lot earlier LOL!!, But it was my mom;s and brothers trip too:) I think i am just so used to going with Josh when we are at the parks so early in the morning-- buts its okay really-- i I am going in back in 3 in a half months:) LOL!!! The crowds were like non existent!!! Compared to the day before in MK-- there were no crowds!! nothing had wait! my theory is everyone was at MK the day before and was too worn out to do anything the next day LOL!!!!:lmao: we started out with going on the great movie ride first, then we did little mermaid, muppets, then we had lunch at Pizza Planet-- it was soo good i love pizza planet! I love the personal pan pizza - pepperoni with a salad-- chips for the dessert-- and a large diet coke i enjoyed it so much:) after lunch we went on TSM! only 30 mins wait!!! WOW!! i was shocked with that! my brother beat me LOL he had a decent score of 119,500 thats great for his first time:) but my accuracy score was better LOL!! It was very hot in DHS-- after we did some other rides, and attaractions and digested our lunch we got a mickey premium bar-- my brother got a strawberry fruit bar! It was so good! the heat was starting to get to us-- and since we pretty much finished everything in DHS by 3pm we decided the few things we didn't see we could skip till next trip... we just wanted to go back to the resort to swim-- but my mom mentioned we should maybe go check out CSR since we had time-- we wanted to check it our because SSR was so spread out we were hoping CSR was not this way-- so we left hollywood studios and as soon as we walked out the CSR was waiting-- how lucky were we! Plus i heard there buses are always awesome anyways:) we decided to get off the bus stop at the cabanas section since that is the section we requested and hope to stay in, then we walked over to the main pool, and through the cabanas section-- so let me just say this much about CSR-- i haven't even stayed there yet but--- I believe this is already my new favorite resort:) it was absolutely breathe taking with its beauty-- tons of palm trees, love the main pool, and how they can fill your mugs up right at the pool, the pepper market was HUGE, gift shop HUGE-- i love how we could get breakfast in the peppermarket and sit along the water and eat breakfast-- there was nothing we didnt' love about this resort!! its perfect and we are thrilled to be going in Sept:) i am also very excited to eat at maya grill, and go to rix lounge!! I didn't want to leave the resort and we just stopped by LOL so i can imagine my sept trip there will be perfect:) i can't wait!!!

after we walked around the resort a little more we got the DTD bus and then went back to SSR we then went to the rock springs pool-- had a pina colava by the pool-- and got some swimming time in:)

after we swam we showered and got ready for DTD for some shopping! First we decided to have dinner at earls-- i got the earls club this time so good! and then we got the kettle chip for dessert which we ate later-- and shopped by ghiradelli for the piece of chocolate sample they give you for dessert-- then it was shopping time! We had a lot of luck in the Team mickey store-- i found Josh a Alabama hat that he has been looking for-- when i gave it to him last night he was in shock-- and then my brother found a really nice ESPN zip up hoodie-- it was so nice! he got that. Then i went to the world of disney-- and got one of the relaly soft big donal stuffed animals LOL i collect them-- and will get goofy my next trip and will have them all! we also went to Basin and i was looking for those little sample bags of the pieces of soaps but they didn't have any so i skipped buying soaps till my next trip-- after our shopping was done we headed back to the resort to pack-- and get to bed so we could get to AK early the next day and checkout or our resort

up next AK day and departure day

we just wanted to go back to the resort to swim-- but my mom mentioned we should maybe go check out CSR since we had time-- we wanted to check it our because SSR was so spread out we were hoping CSR was not this way-- so we left hollywood studios and as soon as we walked out the CSR was waiting-- how lucky were we!

Okay....after sitting on pins and needles -- does she/doesn't she??? -- I can breathe now because you already LOVE the CSR. :woohoo::woohoo:
I am so happy. I really think you are going to like staying there and we walked around Saratoga last September and we found it much more confusing and bigger than CSR.

I'm so glad you had a great time! I remember going on my band trip in high school in may and it was great! Were you there for the flower and garden show? My parents went in april and took some pics for me, they look amazing! It's going so well!! I got the free dinning and we're going to to mnsshp!! I'm planning much less this trip, ian has definitely said he wants a little more relaxed trip this time!

may 19th: I got up early again-- and got ready for the day-- let my mom and brother sleep a little LOL!! Then we got everything packed up and went up to the lobby area for airline check-in-- that morning our boarding passes were already on our door-- and we called the night before to pay for our luggage so everything went smooth and airline check-in was so easy! After we checked our bags we took our carry on bags to bell services for them to hold till our flight, and we went to fill up our cups:) If anyone else has stayed at SSR before-- the whole lobby area, pool area, and Artist Palette-- smells like lavender!!! I love the smell!! It was so relaxing!!! after we filled up our cups-- we went to wait for the aK bus-- one thing with SSR is that the bus service is really slow-- we had to wait a long time for our AK bus, we finally got on the bus a little before 10am and were off to AK!

Our first attraction was its a bug lifes-- i love it!! my brother really liked it and was shocked at how it feels like the bugs are really on you LOL!!! next we went to Expedition everest-- i warned my brother that this ride was a little rough-- has everyone ever felt like ther brian was going to the back of there head on this ride when you go backwards? LOL i do!! its a crazy feeling -- well my brother thought the feeling was really crazy too ( my mom didnt ride EE)-- after we got off the ride he had a little dizzy spell but he was okay-- thankfully and we decided to get some lunch! We always eat at Flame tree but decided to try something different so we went to Yak and yeti counter service-- my brother and I both got the honey chicken with rice-- and my mom got the sweet and sour chicken-- my mom and I got the triple chocolate cake for dessert, my brother got the mango pie. Everything from here was very good!!! After lunch we decided to get a fast pass for the safari-- and head to rafiki's planet watch. I was dissapointed no animals were at the vet:( i wanted to see one-- but again thankful that no animals needed a vet:) we spend a little time there-- and then it was almost time for our safari. We got a few good pics-- but since we went on later in the afternoon most of the animals were sleeping and weren't out and about. My brother really enjoyed the safari- he really felt like he was in Africa!

after the Safari we walked over to camp minnie mickey for the lion king show! we just made the 2:L15 showing-- and had crappy seats! It was hard to see in our seats-- but oh well the show was still really amazing!!! After the show we were all dying for something to drink-- so we got diet cokes -- and at this time it was around 3 and we decided we would go back to the resort-- and lay by the pool for awhile before our flight. First we went into Artist palette and cashed in the rest of our snack credits-- then we found a sunny spot by the pool-- and relaxed for awhile and ate some cheetos:) my brother and my mom had a beer at the pool bar-- i just had my diet coke. Around 5:30 we took our stuff and went up to the lobby and went to get freshed up before our flight-- LOL after walking around AK all day that can make someone pretty sweaty!

After we got fixed up we waited for our MME and it came at 6pm on the dot!! It was perfect timing!! It took about 30 mins to get to the Airport-- and the security are the airport went really smoothly! Then we just sat and relaxed and waited for our flight!!!

I had a great time!! I really enjoyed going in May and it might be one of my new favorites times to go-- i love sept-- but May has about the same crowds and way less humidity! I also had a great experience at SSR and with renting points! We also loved the QS dinning plan-- this was totally different to how we normally do any of our trips and it was great!!! If anyone has any questions about SSR or renting points or the QSR dinning plan-- ask away:) it was all a great experience!

up next-- maybe some TS changes for our sept dinning plans? and how do you eat all of this food?:confused3

deslynnpatterson
05-21-2010, 08:44 PM
okay so i have a question for everyone who does the regular DDP-- how in the heck do you eat all of the food? LOL we have been struggling with this for years-- we try spacing out our meals-- doing early luches for our dinner-- nothing seems to work and we end up stuffed to the giles LOL!!! We were even so full constantly when we were just on the QSDP -- we got 2 snacks a day and couldn't even use the snacks up!! I am a light eater-- i like to eat like 5 small meals a day with going Weight watchers-- so when i eat big heavy meals in the hot summer sun-- it fills me up so much-- so my question is what is everyone's trick? Should i not eat a TS meal everyday and trade some of the ADR's in for 2 credit meals? Or should my mom and i share a breakfast, share a lunch, and then eat our TS meal? maybe if we shared meals it would be smalle portions and more of what i am used too-- i just don't feel like gaining weight-- or feeling so full and boated on my trip-- i did pretty good this past trip-- but we spaced out meals out very well-- ate lunch about 11:30 each day-- since we skipped breakfast-- maybe a snack later afternoon-- and dinner around 9 or later. I just need to figure our a way to make this work better-- i can never finish any of my food at disney! They really do give a lot of portions! So i would love to hear everyone tricks of the trade when is comes to disney eating! Also i am second guessing a lot of my ADRS now!! GRR!! i hate when i do that!! before i make changes though i want to see what everyone thinks about how to figure out my meals LOL

second-- before i went on my may trip i ordered a few shirts for my sept trip
http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/86_644_3376_001.jpg

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/86_644_4376_013.jpg

i got both shirts from the store express:) and they came in the mail today!! I love them-- and plus side they are both a size small!!!!! :)

I also got a dressy black and purple shirt for rix lounge at CSR and cannot find a pic of the wesbite-- and i got a pretty blue one from express too for my may trip that i can also take on my sept trip:)

I used a coupon online for express and got a good deal:) now this weekend i want to go back to New york and company my other favorite store and use my city cash coupons and get more shorts for my sept trip-- i got a few brand new pairs for my may trip and they were soo comfy i have to get more!!

Also i really need to get back on track on my diet this weekend starting tomorrow! This week was so off with being in disney-- so the workout and healthy food start again tomorrow:) i have about 15 more weeks to lose more nad get in shape-- so stay tuned for a lot of healthy summer meal ideas coming up!

well i am off to watch some TV with the hubby-- let me know how everyone else plans out there meals with the meal plan!! thanks~

The way we work the dining plans is to eat breakfast really early (yogurt, fruit, cereal, split a bagel) because we do morning EMH or rope drop as often as we can. By noon we are hungry because we ate breakfast at like 7 am. We eat lunch. Then we eat a late dinner, anywhere from 7-8:30 pm. It works for us that way. :goodvibes:goodvibes

we do have some late dinners this year so i hope it might work better:) and sharing breakfast is a very good idea! I think we are going to try sharing a breakfast early, share a lunch and then eat our late dinners-- i am curious how it will work! hey everyone!! First of all i want to say i promise tonight i will go and catch up on everyone's PTRs -- please don't think i forgot about you-- i didn't just been busy and catching up on sleep from my short 5 day trip.

So i found out they changed our departure flight into orlando again UGH!!:confused3 but i am getting a little worried-- our flight lands in orlando at 2:55pm-- and we have a dinner ressie at Liberty Tree Tavern at 6:00pm-- do you think this is pushing it? Should we try to change the LTT ressie to later? Or do you think getting to a park this late in the day is a waste of day? my other option is trying to get the 8:55pm Ohana ressie that is open that day-- and skip the parks the first day-- and change a ressie later in the week and add LTT-- or just stay at the resort this day and eat dinner at Maya Grill which is on the CSR property! WOW why is it so confusing to plan a disney trip sometimes?:confused3 LOL my other option is to call the airline and get out flight changed but-- right now we have a straight thru flight-- if we changed it we would have to have a layover in atlanta-- UGH -- i am not sure what the right thing to do it! Any advice is greatly appreciated:)

I am also going to try to upload pics of my may trip over the long weekend-- if my computer works with me!

Today i starting applying for new jobs at work within my company-- i am trying to make a lot of positive changes in my life-- i got the eating healthy and working out down, now im going to therapy for my anxiety, and now i want to make work changes-- i feel that i am not going anywhere with my current job, and i feel that i am used there because i have a lot of experience, and will do anything and its very draining!! So I posted out for a few jobs in my company-- keep your fingers crossed i get a interview !!

i made a very delicious recipe over the weekend-- Taco Soup MMM!! it was a Weight watchers recipe and 2 points per cup! I will also post the recipe later for the soup ! I highly recommend it! My working out is back on track after being off for a week -- it feels good to be back on routine-- but yet again i miss disney already LOL~

I am going to catch up on everyone's PTRS now-- and then workout, and then i will post the recipe!

wow sorry everyone i seemed to have fell off the face of the earth! life has just been crazy busy! Don't you hate when life gets in the way of the disboards? I sure do!! I hope everyone had a nice weekend I was crazy busy-- went out with the girls friday night, sat a pittsburgh pirate game with my parents and Josh -- it was called skyblast and after the game collective soul performed and they shot off the most amazing fireworks ever from the tops of the building! I am so blessed to have eye sight to see those amazing sights!! Sunday Josh's grandma turned 80th so we spend time with his side of the family-- it was a glorious weekend:) This weekend will be busy too- my best friend turns 30th on sat and is having a party, then Sunday Josh and I am going to have a picnic at a state park near us and go fishing -- and go on the beach at the lake and maybe canoe-- June is a busy month-- then it will calm down the rest of the summer and nothing will be going on:)

Not much to report on the disney front-- except i need a opnion on a ADR-- has everyone ever been to yak and yeti table service and yak and yeti counter service? Is the counter service food the same you can get in the table service? We have a ressie for Yak and yeti but wondering if its worth it-- so any opnions on that would be great-- we were thinking of replacing that with the wolfgang puck cafe-- not the express but regular cafe-- so anything good or bad about those places that you might have to offer would be really helpful!

This Friday i am going out with my mom shopping for some disney clothes:) we are trying to get a little at a time! Tomorrow marks the 3 month mark till my trip!!! So full speed ahead with the working out and healthy eating:)

We have been having crazy rain in pittsburgh lately and severe storms-- and more are coming tomorrow:( I am sick of the rain-- but its good for my garden and little flowers:)

I hope to have more disney news to report soon-- and i will update everyone on my shopping trip for sure:) I cannot believe i just got back may 19th from disney-- i swear it seems like its been a year already!! i am so ready for my sept trip!!!!

good night everyone:)

Hey, Desiree.

LOVE Disney clothes shopping.

We went to Yak & Yeti in 2008 and it was the second favorite meal of our trip. Here is a link to my dining reviews for that trip -- it should be on the first or second page. If we were going to AK this year, we would be eating there again:

i had shingles!!! UGH!! The adult form of chicken pox-- and I have been miserable! I would never wish this upon anyone! It was horrible -- they say it comes from stress-- and the chicken pox virsus re- activates in your body-- i had my shingles on my neck and the pain was so unbearable!!! I didn't know what it was for about a week- then finally went to the doctors when a rash with bisters formed-- and they confirmed it was shingles. I got some really good meds-- and vicoden for the pain-- but i think that was a little too strong for me-- i was acting all goofy when i took it LOL i dropped my grilled cheese on the floor and was laughing so hard when the dogs were licking it LOL I was a mess!! So today is my last day off of work and i am feeling better-- still not 100% but better! I keep telling myself i need to get better for disney:) and actually thinking of disney helped me get through the worse of the pain! I hope to get back on track with my working out maybe today or tomorrow i haven't been on the treadmill in like a week and a half two weeks:( but-- if anything i lost weight from being in too much pain to eat-- and not being able to keep too much food down from the meds- ugh! I was a mess!

So now for disney related topics:) I will catch up on everyones TR and PTRS i promise:)

I went shopping online the other day and ordered a few shirts from express-- i will post pics once i get the shirts:) and I was at Marshalls the other day and got a few cute shirts! I am going shopping with a friend tomorrow for a girls day out-- and i hope to check out a few shirts i liked at American Eagle! I also plan on sitting down with my mom this week-- and typing up our disney plans for the week:) we always make a internary with all of our ADR confirmation #'s times or ADRS, plans for the day-- so we have a idea of what we are doing:)

So what are everyone's 4th of July plans-- please share:) I think i am going downtown pittsburgh with my hubby- for a free concert, the regatta, and to watch fireworks, walk along the river and just have a fun care free day!

Oh and in other disney news-- Josh and I are going to plan a May 2011 trip:) we are planning on staying at AK and planning on renting points-- so soon i will be looking into renting more points:) I love renting points! I think its my new favorite thing to do to get to disney cheap:) and to stay deluxe! well i am off to catch up on everyones PTRS! I missed everyone!! I promise i will be back :)

hey everyone!! WOW has life been a little nutty lately thankfully everything is calming down and i can catch up on some PTRS and TR!! My trip is getting closer!!! less than 2 months now i can't wait:) I am going to try to go shopping this weekend and get a few more tank tops from express:) i love that store so much! I also think my mom and I are going to pay our trip off in full this weekend!! woohoo!!! Everyday i talk to my mom she says " did you think of disney today"? I always tell her " i think if disney everyday" LOL!!! MY anxiety/depression has been getting the best of me lately-- my therapist tells me go to my happy place in my head and of course thats disney!!! I am finally going to get meds in August-- which I am going to be picky with what i get because i do not want to gain any weight-- i worked so hard at losing all my weight-- i will not let meds get in the way. Things have been good other than being a little stressed out! Did everyone see they exteneded free dinning till Dec? that is awesome:) I am actaully going to price out a dec trip after i finish catching up on PTRS i am just curious it it would be something i could swing! I want to have babies soon so i am fitting in as much disney are possible LOL just in case i would have to take a year or so off from disney-- I am not sure if i would go throught disney directly for a dec trip-- or maybe try renting points again. Josh and I decided a few weeks ago that since he cannot go this year we will go in May of next year-- he said he cannot wait till sept he needs a disney fix too! I think i am getting obessed just a little!! hahahahaha:lmao: but thats okay us disney nutts stick together! The traveling bug bite me in the butt big time LOL thats all i ever want to do!

I think my mom and I are also going to finish working on our daily plans-- and i can post those shortly we always right a internary for each day-- print it out-- and follow it. We also got a 100 dollar disney gift card that i got from work-- we are trying to decide what to do with it are choices are:
1. get a nice souvenir each such as a disney fleece blanket and a few other things or, each a pick a pearl
2. MNSSHP- might be a little more than 100 dollars but at least it can go toward it
3. A spa treatment at cornado springs
4. activities like characters in flight, bikes, boats, maybe behind the seeds tour
5. La Nouba

whatever we decide if we need tickets we are going to have to get them soon!! What do you guys vote for? I am not sure if i have any following anymore-- and that is my own fault for not keeping this up-- but feel free to join in and join the fun:) I promise i will update more often

well off to catch up on TR and PTRS and then treadmill time

I was on Amatriptiline (sorry about the spelling...I spelled it phonetically) for a preventative for my migraines. Started at the end of December, by March I had gained 25 pounds and I was super depressed. It was like it had the total opposite effect on me. Ugh, that was awful. That and I was extremely anxious. We went on a cruise and I totally freaked out on our first port day...things that never would have bothered me made me totally lose my cool.

Long story short: good luck!

We went on a cruise and I totally freaked out on our first port day...things that never would have bothered me made me totally lose my cool.

Long story short: good luck!

thanks so much for sharing what you were on-- i am so sorry you had those horrible side effects:( I am still not sure what i am going to do-- some days i think i need something for sure-- others i am like i can do this without anything-- i will see how i feel in the next week or so and decide:) i am so worried about the horrible side effects and i would be more depressed if I gained any weight LOL after i worked so hard to lose it ! Thanks for the good luck:) If i decide to do on anything i am sure i will need a lot of good luck:)

ps i will be over to catch up on your

I know you can help me with this-- were do i find a list of the prices? I want to book something soon and can't find prices anywhere. I know they have to be somewhere out there:)

good morning everyone:) I don't know about anyone else but i am soo glad its the weekend:) Disney has been on my mind non- stop-- i am getting riduclous about it-- we were slow at work yesterday and i am sitting there pricing out all these trips and trying to figure out how i can get there either before my sept trip or in dec-- did i completely lose it? LOL sometimes i feel like i am off my rocker. My stress level from the last year has been crazy-- and disney is my happy place so i always try to put myself there in body and in mind LOL!!! :) I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Last night i went to the mall-- i went to Express and got a new disney tank top-- i would post the pic but cannot mind it on the online website. Today i am going to my parents to swim-- and my mom and I are going to work on our disney internary-- so once we get everything set in stone i will share it with everyone:) And maybe i can met some of you while i am in disney:) i would always like to be involved in a dis met -- or met some of the people i talk to on the boards -- so again my trip is setp 9th-18th-- i am going with my mom and staying at CSR-- maybe i will get the chance to met some of you:) Also find me on facebook deslynnpatterson@aol.com-- just send a message that you are from the disboards and i will add you!

well i am off to workout, clean and swim-- i will update more later! I hope everyone is blessed with having nice weather and a fantastic weekend!

We're goint to mnsshp this year, so that would be fun and of course I always recomend lanouba, it was amazing and definitely worth seeing! Can't wait to hear more of your plans!!

hey everyone! Its finally the weekend!! We are getting suck a heat wave in pittburgh!! Its hotter than florida in sept-- i swear it is LOL!! Now for some life updates: The treadmill rountine is going very well-- took about a week or so to ease back in from having the shingles but its going really well and so is eating healthy. Also-- Josh is going for some job training in August its called Jr executive training-- so soon he can run his own store for work:) That is exciting news also. I have still been applying for job within my company and might have a interview at the end of the month-- so send some pixie dust out way!! We really need our break!!

Last night i went out with a few of my girls-- and we stumbled upon a bartenders competion at tgi fridays-- it was a lot of fun-- it was a charity event for autism-- and the bar tenders would auction off the drinks for charity and they were getting a lot of money for the drinks so that was wonderful:) such a good cause! The tricks the bartenders did with flipping the bottles in the air was amazing!!! If you ever get the chance to go see one go:)

Also i did some disney shopping:) I went to express and had a coupon and the tops were buy one get one half off so i got some good deals

Here are the shirts i got:
http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/86_374_2321_017.jpg

http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr205/deslynnpatterson/86_968_5888_021.jpg

the line of the shirts are dream weight cotton-- so they are very light and thin and will be nice and cool in the florida sun during the day-- and in the evening for Rix lounge!

Next I want to find a new vera bradley bag for the parks-- I had a nice white bag from New York and company for my May trip-- however my jean shorts rubbed on the white bag from my carrying it all week and it turned my bag blue:( oh well i love vera though! I am going to try to hunt one down on sale at the mall.

Tonight i might go out with another couple-- we might go bowling or a movie or something fun and something cool to stay out of this heat once Josh gets home from work-- tomorrow i am swimming all day and

PAYING OFF MY TRIP IN FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the Express near me. You go in and everyone in the store tries to help you find things, it's fun. It's like being pampered. Maybe I'll make a trip out :goodvibes Old Navy has been my obsession as of late. They have a lot of cute tops and most that I've found that I like are right around $10. It's trouble really.

hello everyone!!! so for not being around-- this summer has just been a little crazy! I have been applying for jobs and have a interview Aug 16th for a better position-- and better paying to support my disney habit so send some vibes my way:) Also Josh is leaving later today for work training in philly for a few days-- its the next level or his training-- so i will be alone this week:( oh well! I can stay busy with getting things done around the house:)

I can't believe I only have 1 month and one day left!! I cannot wait! Okay so i wanted to Share with you the final Day1 Plans and i will go through all my days-- so if you see i am going to be somewhere the same day -- let me know and we can met up:)

Day 1:Sept 9th
8:30am leave home for Pittsburgh Airport
12:04pm- flight leaves for Orlando:banana:
2:17pm- arrive in Orlando

I am thinking it will take us maybe till 4pm to get the magically express and get in our rooms at CSR-- we requested the Cabananas section and hope to get it-- we will also fax a request in 10 days before:)
4:30- we are planning on leaving for MK by this time-- we will go on Pirates of the Carribean first-- its a tradition for that to be the first ride:) then i am sure we will look at some gift shops and go on rides and attractions in that area

7:30pm- we have our dinner at LTT-- I love this place!! It became a traditiona when my mom and me went on our first Mother daughter trip in 2006! We fell in love with the food! Its amazing! ( well at least we love it lol ) I really like to take my time eating at LTT and once i eat there i know my trip has finally began!

9:00pm-- I believe this is the time for wishes this night so after dinner we will find a seat for wishes-- i do not think there is the electrical light parade this night

after wishes we will head back to CSR and explore the resort:) we will take a night walk around the resort-- get famaliar with it-- and maybe get a ice cream or a nice adult beverage:) I am thinking we will try to get in bed by midnight-- so we can get up the next morning for a nice early start! I am always up early so if my mom wants to sleep a little i will take a run around the resort of go to the gym-- I don't want to ruin my routine LOL.

well i am off for grocery shopping and going to get Josh all packed up to leave:( But i will be back later with Day 2-- and talk about Via Napoli-- :) i might be trying it out!

Good morning, Des. Great Day 1 plans -- I love them. You can get a nice adult beverage at the Laguna Bar (the outside bar by the lake). We've never done LTT for dinner (but then I am not a fan of the Thanksgiving dinner food -- turkey, stuffing, etc.). You reminded me I have to look and see when Wishes and the Electrical Parade are running for while we are there. I don't know how I forgot this.

Day 2 : Epcot

I think i will wake up around 6:30am-- i am always so early to rise:) I will get showered and let my mom sleep a little while- then she will get up and ready and we will head to the pepper market at about 8am for breakfast:) We are trying something new this year-- we are going to split a breakfast-- and split a lunch everyday- instead of having a big meal-- so that way we can enjoy our counter service dinners more:) Most likely we will get a to go ticket at the pepper market-- and then we will go outside and eat our breakfast by the lake.

9:00am- we will get on the bus and head over to epcot-- first will be spaceship earth:) then we will head over to soarin and we will get a fast pass-- and then get in line for soaring-- and maybe use our fast pass when we get off depending on how long the line is:) then we will do everything else that is in the land-- after that we will head over to the calm mobiles and the aquariums and do everything around that area-- and maybe the Ellen Degeneres ride-- depending on the time at this point we might get lunch around 12:00 or 1:00-- most likely we will get something in the eletric umbrella-- we enjoy eating there:) most likely we will get chicken nuggets and fries- or something easy to share.

after lunch we will start taking a walk around the countries and spend time there and look at all the shops. I especially enjoy china and japan:)

8:10pm: we have our dinner at Le Cellier-- I am getting my normal Filet mignon-- well done-- butterfly cut-- with the mashed potatoes instead of rositto-- i will also really enjoy the pretzel bread, and will either get the chocolate moose for dessert-- which is what i normally get -- or I will get the chocolate whiskey cake:)

after dinner depending on the time we will try to see Illuminations-- and then head back to CSR and get a bus to downtown disney:)

that is my day 2 plans:)

Also i have a question about the dessert party-- who has done this? And what was your experience like? good or bad? we are thinking of doing it-- but also wondering if it will be too much food with what we will be eating on the meal plan-- what does everyone think?

Day 3 will be up shortly:)

so today was the big day for the interview:) which i think went very well! So i am crossing my fingers that i will be starting a new job when i get home from disney:) send pixie dust my way!! Also i finally got meds-- i was presribed wellbutrin for depression and anxiety and ambien for sleep-- lets just say-- i don't think my body is made to take meds-- LOL! I tried i took the wellbutrin for 5 days-- but keep getting a floaty head feeling-- and felt comfusing and like my brain wasn't all there-- so i said forget the meds and i stopped and feel great today:) i don't like the way i feel on them and i think i will do fin without them:)

Also -- I am ready to book my next year trip already with the news of free dinning being accouned today!! That is soo exciting!! I just have to figure out when were and with who i am going with:)

Now for day 3:
Today is Hollywood studios-- we will wake up around 6:30 or get ready got have our breakfast-- and either swim for a little in the morning or head right to hollywood studios! we don't really have a game plan for hollywood studios except most likely we will go on the great movie ride first:) which we normally do! I love the american idol experience too-- muppets 3d-- beauty and the beast-- little mermaid-- are just a few of my favorites:) after we hit a few favorites we will go to pizza planet for lunch!! this has become a tradition!! most likely my mom and i will eat lunch about 12:00-- and we will get a pizza most likely pepperoni and split it! then we will digest our lunch and maybe do the backlot tour or indiana jones-- something were we can sit for a awhile-- we will look at some gift shops-- and hit up whatever else we missed:) Then we will have dinner at 50's prime time i believe at 6:30 pm. I always get the shame thing here every year but i love it- i will get the diet coke for a shot of cherry-- the pot roast-- and a strawberry Sundae for dessert. After we eat since HS closes earlier normally we might see if there are extra magic hours this night anywhere else-- or we will head back to the resort for a few adult beverages or go to downtown disney-- or over to the boardwalk for awhile, Or hit up the hot tub at CSR and soak and crying feet:lmao:
most likely we will be in our room and in bed around midnight-- or later-- who knows LOL but hopefully we will get a nice freshing good nights sleep for the next day:) which is going to be a long day because its EMH at magic kingdom! stay tuned for day 4!!!
