We are staying for 15 nights at WDW however, we reciently changed our reservations to stay 3 days at GF, 3 days at AKL, and the remaining 9 days at ASMo. I know the mugs are for length of stay but what about if you switch resorts during your stay. I am assuming I will have to buy a different mug at each resort, am I correct ?? Or is it possible to use the mugs from ASMo (where we begin our stay) at AKL and GF since it is during the same stay.

Yes (unfortunately) Each resort mug has a different design/logo specific to each hotel. You might be better off getting the mug for the resort you are staying longest at and purchasing drinks from a grocery store or vending machine for the rest of your stay.

Yes. You would have to buy new ones at each hotel. All of the hotels have diefferent designs on them.

I'm pretty sure you will have to buy new ones. It's really up to the people working at the food courts so it wouldn't hurt to ask when you get there. Bring your receipt from the first mug you buy. :D

I have tons of plastic mugs from the Disney resorts, just hanging around my house and taking up room. They are all from my past vacations but for these past 4 yrs. I didn't but one mug and stayed at different resort. I do think you will have to buy a different mug for each hotel you were staying at, that is the thing that makes the most sence to me.:D

See to me this doesn't make sense they are "length of stay" mugs they should be good for your entire stay, regardless of what hotel you are staying at. But I do understand that is the length of the stay at the hotel you bought it at. So I did figure that I would have to buy a new one at each hotel. Maybe they should come up with a WDW resort mug for those of us that are staying at multiple hotels during our stay :D

IMO they sound like great, cheap suvieners...And they will pay for themselves at each hotel, with as little as 2 fill ups each of our 3 nights.

I THINK I know the answer to this question. The refillable mugs, are they only good at your resort or do you get to get refills in the parks?

Mugs are for resorts only. But a refillable mug for the parks would be great, except having to carry it around all day.

I've filled my Poly mug at the CBR and the CBR at the Contemporary, no one said a thing.

During her last visit my mother bought a disney mug for about $2 on clearance at a junkie souvenier shop and used it at the resort.

She thought that was an okay thing to do (she really didn't know...she's pretty naive).

Anyway, no one said anything to her...and I am not recommending doing this - my point is that CMs may not be checking THAT closely!

We will be switching resorts and will have a cooler in our room filled with drinks from Walmart!

It's now like LOS passes. You have to get a new one at each resort if you change.
