I'm sure there are tons of you on here who scrapbook. Anyone want to share their page layouts to help others with ideas and show off their scrapbooks from trips?

I'll share mine, this was my first scrapbook ever made and a few pages are noticeably not finished but I tried lol. So here are my pages from my 2009 October trip with my mom. All the stickers were purchased at JoAnns Fabric while the pages are a mix between purchases at DL/DCA and also from JoAnns Fabric. Enjoy!

Those were all fun to see. Thanks for sharing! I've been doing a lot more "pocket page" scrapbooking these days. I want all my hundreds of pictures in an album, but I don't want to spend the time scrapping them all. I found a bunch of cute Disney stuff at Archivers. I like how you included your HoJo key cards, iKristin.

Fun to see! I've done a lot of scrapbooking in the past but haven't had the time since I've been working full time. I was also starting to get in to digital scrapbooking. Hopefully this summer I will have a chance to do some more. It would be fun to do last summer's DLR trip. :)

Thanks for the ideas. The scrapbooking selection at WDW is baaaaaaadddd. What is the selection like in DL and what is the best store(s) to find scrapping materials? I mostly use Joannes, Micheals, Hobby Lobby, and Scrapbook etc. to do my books.

HI-
I usually purchase my annual DL scrapbook at World of Disney- they tend to have everything in the last section of the store, nearest the entrance by Anne Geddes. I stopped buying the scrapbook kits as the paper is just ok and the stickers do not have clear borders.

I saw some scrapbooking stuff in the store on main st. Right hand side when facing the castle, it has other stuff, like books and maybe cds/dvds... but I think World of Disney has all of the stuff the other stores do.

I actually bought two of each. One for my trip binder and one for the trip we are taking in June! I just thought they were so cute.

I am toying around with the idea to make an autograph book like a scrapbook with places for pictures like a friend of mine did for her kids at Disney World.

I just came across this thread and wanted to share with you ladies some great ideas. There is a website called twopeasinabucket.com and they do Disney Challenges. Every 2 weeks there is a new challenge. Here is the link to the first challenge and you can find the link to the last challenge at the end of the thread and so on. What a great thread! I am glad that there are other scrappers out there it's fun to share ideas, it's not stealing ideas...I like to use the term "scraplifting" ;) Lately I have become a scrapbook supply collector as I haven't devoted much time to actually completing any layouts. I will try to post some pages soon...

I love the look of the digital. How did you get started scrapping digitally? I think it might be more fun in someways because you have more scope for originality.

I kind of fell into it accidentally, lol! I used to siggy pics on my mommy forum then my cousin told me about digital scrapping. It's actually how I ended up on the DIS looking for stuff to scrap my Disneyland pics.

I've failed miserably at paper scrapping despite my SIL's best efforts. Digital just seemed like a natural fit. The best part is you can use things over and over and you can 'undo' which is a life saver. If you can use PS Elements, CS4 or Paint Shop Pro you can digi scrap. A lot of digi scrappers never print but I do and they look beautiful. I love when someone is looking at my albums and reaches out and touches the pages.

These are from my 2007 trip. I've been looking in vain for 2007 Disneyland scrapbook album as I wasn't scrapping when we went on the trip. Anyone know if there's a way I can get my hands on one?

I have the PS Elements I just haven't really checked it out. My teenage daughter on the other hand plays with it all the time. I think that I am going to have to play with it later.

As far as the 2007 Disneyland scrapbook, have you looked on ebay for it?

Nothing to be afraid of! You copy and paste all your pics, ellies and papers so if you make a mistake, no biggie, just delete and paste something new in there. :thumbsup2 Undo is my friend, lol!

Don't feel bad Sarah, I think I've only completed 6 pages from 4 trips since 2007 YIKES!! :scared1:
I always think about working on them then get side tracked, hopefully soon though!

Thank you for the compliments. It really was an amazing visit. We were there in mid-September--lines were short and there was lots of time for character interactions. It was a dream vacation and all four of us had an absolutely wonderful time. I'm planning out another trip for us for this September and I'm really worried that it won't be able to live up to the magic of the first trip...that's how great our first trip was.

I love all the pictures!! I just came across this thread....makes me want to get back at my very overdue scrapbooking sessions!!!! I'm including some pics from our 2005 & 2008 trip. One book that I do after each trip is an autograph scrapbook. I use the autographs the kids collected & match it to the pics....the kids love these books the most!!!
I'm not super fancy, but there may be something new or different in one of my pages that will spark some creativity for someone else. Anyone can do this & once you get started....it's a blast!!!

Please tell me I'm not alone when it comes to keeping EVERYTHING when at DL!!! I keep napkins, tags, you get what I'm saying.....my hubby thinks I'm weird but then it gets incorporated into the scrapbook & adds to it.

Oh I'm so excited I found this thread. I'm usually over on the WDW boards, but my DH and I are taking a Disneyland trip in July so I have been searching the DLR threads the last few weeks. We did take a trip together in 2008 so I have some pages I would love to share with ya'll. I really enjoyed seeing all of ya'lls great photos and pages. Thanks so much. Actually I haven't really ventured into digital or hybrid. Except for the Disneyland page that is a big 12x12 photo, everything else is paper, stickers and embellishments.

Thanks Mel! I would love to see some of your stuff. I have found that I work better if I don't limit myself to one trip. I'm currently working on WDW 2004, 06, 07, 08, 09 and 10 and DLR 2008.

I have been stockpilling Disney scrapbook supplies for over a year now, telling myself that one of last years trips would be scrapbooked. I still have yet to start! Now I'm thinking I'll do this years Birthday/Halloween trip instead. Thanks for posting all the photos, it actually gives me hope that I may start my own ... eventually. :rotfl:

We have 4 trips under our belts since 2007, I have yet to finish the first trip! What I like to do is make notes each trip (a mini trip report if you will) so that I can remember specific things from each trip (ex. dates, rides we went on over and over, first ride, and each persons "top five" etc.). These things help me with the direction I want to go for each page, and really helps with the journaling portion.

These are all great!! I love scrapbooking and will never ever catch up...I tend to only get done (in a timely fashion) books I make as gifts. I've just finished re-doing my kid's birthday books, scrapbook style, and giving them to them on their birthdays (they are now 30, 26 and 24). I also just finished an 8x8 for my DDIL of Christmas that they shared with us, and am starting one of my youngest grand-daughter's first year, which will be her Mom's b'day gift. I also have 2 Disney ones planned of our upcoming trip for Christmas gifts for my DB&SIL and DBIL who are going with us..meanwhile.....so far behind. (I have 8 grandkids, so no, I will never catch up)
I've done some digital books for gifts and they are nice, but my computer started having issues with Picaboo. I still love the texture and process of hand scrapping though..and really like the Disney one that had non Disney colors, elements, etc. Very clever and I'll be lifting alot of these ideas.
I've also found I'm trying to go to the smaller sizes some and just picking the best of the best of the pictures..I'm just so overwhelmed with the TONS of pictures? Anyone else?

Hey Diznee Luver - we kept everything from our trip too. We have napkins from our corn dogs (clean ones of course) and the cardboard coat hangers from DD's purchases at Build a Bear in Downtown Disney and everything in between. It is great for scrapbooking, and keeps the memories flowing! We even kept the bags that our purchases came in.

Hey- I would have kept the greasy napkins! :rotfl: (No, I joke......) But seriously, I keep napkins, reciepts, wrappers (from Mickey Mouse suckers, and Mickey Mouse ice cream, etc.) and about anything else. My DH laughs when I can scrapbook something that would be trash to someone else! :goodvibes

YES! That is also an issue I have! I have started only printing the photos I LOVE, otherwise every layout would be a two pager. I really get overwhelmed planning my pages if I have too many photos. You can always print more if you need to :cutie:
