My hubby and I leave the 29th and drive down from RI. We are so excited and counting the days, we are staying near the port and driving over. We will be celebrating 35 years of marriage, while on board the ship. After the cruise we go to Disney and then Universal for three and two days. What a trip to look forward too. This is our third Disney Cruise and 14th trip to Disney. Last year was 9/11 and we checked out quick and drove home. Home you all have a safe trip to Florida.

I am getting excited, I need this cruise now more than ever! I just started my own business in the last month!
We live in Orlando, so it is just a short trip to the port. It will be me, dh, ds(2) and my mom.
We went on the 4 day Wonder last year and fell in love with DCL!

wjbc, i have a 5 year old daughter who would love to meet and be friends with yours. her name is robyn.
Thanks winnyis and sumfun. I told my girls and they were excited. My younger daughter is Courtney - she always thinks it's neat when someone has her same name. I think I will be keeping my older daughter in the 5-7 group with my younger one - she just turned 8 in June so don't think she would be too out of place.
The last time we were on the Magic, Courtney did not care too much for the club - she even had her same-age cousin along with her. DH and I don't want to force the girls to go to the club if they don't like it, but we at least want a couple of nights to get to Palos or the nightclubs.
What time is everyone planning on getting to the Port? I think we'll try to get there by 10:30. I like to get on early and unpack so we can relax the rest of the day. Ginny - I'm sure we'll also be at the Mickey pool shortly after boarding, as that's what we've done on past cruises. If I see anyone matching the description you gave of your kids, I'll try to trace them back to you and introduce ourselves.

Has everyone already figured out what night to do Palo's ? I need some help from you cruisin' buddies.
It will be my, dh, ds(2) and my mom.
I would love a romantic dinner just the two of us one night at Palos and another night just mom & daughter night at Palos. I know we can only make one reservation which would you do ? Also what night should I make it ? I don't know about everyone but all these menus have me a bit overwhelmed.
The other thing is that I want to do brunch but Flounders is not open for those times, so one of us will miss it so the other two go. WHat should I do ?
I haven't even began thinking about packing. My dh took off the Friday before so I guess I will do a shopping marathon that day to get everything I need.
BTW we are in room #7104. Come by and say HI!!!!!!!!!

Naomi, we're kinda waiting to see what our dinner rotation is ---
we'll find that out @ check-in, i believe
being kid-less we are expecting to start @ luminere --- we're late seating
we would prefer to do Paolo on a SEA day
also, i think there are 'stand-bys' --- when people cancel or are no-shows --- if u r stuck ...
if you have early seating you can snack with your family and still go to Paolo, i've heard ...
can't wait! 15 days!

Hi! We are so excited! This is our first cruise (well, DH went with his ex fiance, but we won't go there). My kids can't believe there is a special place for them to hang out. All they can talk about is making gooze and having a slumber party with Goofy. DD is almost 5 and DS just turned 6.
If we meet someone here on the board, can we try and get seated with them? That's what I was hoping. We will be at the Raddison on the 30th after visiting the inlaws in Tampa.
Have a swell day! See you all soon!

We will be by the pool all day

KITTY ---
to change seat location/table would mean, upon arrival on the ship, you would need to change entire party with Head of Dining
---
(happens all the time, i'm sure)
don't think you can do that without everyone's ressie numbers before the sailing --- if it's even do-able (?) before.
rotation assignments are either in your stateroom or @ check in (someone else may know better)
3 dining rooms means 3 diff rotations
Animator, Luminere, Parrot
ex: could be any of these three

Ginny,
I'm sure my kids will find your kids easily.
I too am quite easy to spot in a crowd. I have red bangs and long black hair. I may look "different" but I am quite friendly and don't bite. My hubby is Mr. Clean Cut. We look so funny together!
What are you doing with your kids in the different ports? I heard that there is a place that the younger kids can go touch the stingrays when they take a glass bottom boat ride at Cayman. Is there anywhere else that does this?
While I'm on a roll.....I read that there are bat caves on Cozumel. Where can I find more info on this? I have searched and couldn't find anything.
Thanks for your help!

Only two weeks from tomorrow! Setting sail with Mom and my two sisters. One of my sisters is a travel agent, any other agents going to be onboard? I'm new to this forum thing, do ya'll hook up during the week? We did the eastern the same week last year and had the calmest seas possible. I make more waves in my tub. We've always had the best luck with any Disney vacation, we call it being in the "Disney bubble".

I'll be on the Western sailing of the Magic on August 31, 2002. On board with me will be DD 13 and DS 16 (and possibly DS's 16 year old friend).
Any other teens sailing that date? Perhaps you can get to know each other in cyberspace before meeting at Common Grounds!
See you all soon!
