DVC Member website forum?

So much information is offered on DISboards concerning DVC that there may be little need or desire for another related forum. However, as a new DVC owner, I'm surprised there is not a member forum on the DVC Member website.

For those of you who have been in the know awhile, was there ever a member forum on the DVC website, or has this area been avoided?

To date, DVC has had no interest in hosting it's own discussion forum. They do read the DIS DVC boards and comments/suggestions made here are reviewed bt DVC.

They also realize the challenges with managing a discussion forum and have, thus far, made a conscious decision not to provide such a forum for members.

I don't think anyone on the DIS would use it since they would probably censor any negative comments about DVC and/or Disney. Since the DIS is an independent third party, we can have an open and honest conversation. :disrocks:
