Just in time for the holidays, Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones is being released on DVD & video. The full story is on the Star Wars web site. "Retail" price is $29.98 US, so start saving those pennies!!! :teeth:

I made the mistake of looking at all the other DVDs that are going to be released before years end. The Back to the Future Trilogy will be coming soon, along with Monsters Inc, all the Ernest movies, and the complete Space 1999 collection. And my all time favorite James Bond film (or parody) Casino Royale will be available in October as well. I can feel my wallet getting lighter already.

Yep, I thought they'd drag it out by releasing the video this year, then wait a year or two to release the DVD. I guess they got the special features done a lot faster for this one. If anyone needs to find me Nov 12, just look in the DVD section at Target or Best Buy (whichever one has a sale!). :teeth:

Towncrier, Disney is also releasing the revamped version of Beauty & the Beast later this year. It includes *THREE* versions of the movie. The original, the special edition released in IMAX this year and a version that's a "work in progress." Whatever that means. :rolleyes:

The only thing that could make it better would be if George Lucas would get off the stick and release the Indiana Jones movies on DVD.

I have the Beauty & The Beast Works In Progress laserdisk. I wonder if they are including that piece of work on the new DVD. Don't you just hate it when they come out with new versions of DVDs that you already down. I'm already in enough hot water with DW Sue about re-purchasing a DVD just to get some deleted scenes.

The Star Wars Episode 2 DVD sounds wonderful. I can hardly wait.
