Got a call this afternoon from Ian asking for the postcode for Bridgend hospital, I asked why, and was told you don't want to know. Which of course sent me into total panic, but he knows how squeamish I am...

He is now home with a very large bandage on his thumb, lots of stitches, he has to go back on Friday to see if the stitches have taken or if the top of his thumb is going bye bye...

The joys of being a carpenter, he thinks its great that he can't do the dishes!!

Fingers crossed it takes OK.
One of our drivers dropped some heavy equipment on the tip of his little finger a couple of weeks ago and they did the same with him, waited to see if they could safe it, but he is haveing it removed today.:guilty:

Poor old Ian. Hope his thumb is intact when we get together in April. Otherwise, at least I can say I know a one thumbed man. :thumbsup2

A poorly thumb is also an excuse not to do the dusting, ironing, cooking etc. in fact just about anything that involves work. :rotfl2:
