I dont know whether to be :( or  or a little of both
this is the FOURTH time they have put off our closing date!
I know in the grand scheme of things 4 days is NOT that big of a deal but we were REALLY hoping to be able to get into our new house and clean and paint so we can move in next weekend, now J is going to have to take some vacation time so we can do that and still be in there on time.
They have listed this place and while they say we can stay here a few extra days we are getting really nervous!
I just want it to be OVER!!!
Ok sorry I just had to get that out.
Thanks

Since we may be in the process of this soon I'm curious...what is the reason for them putting off the closing over and over?

sorry Beauty, I had to run out.
We're dealing with HUD so that is the reason. First the lender isnt the sharpest rock in the stream. and told us a COMPLETELY unreasonable date that HUD had no knowledge of then he changes that date a couple of times, now were waiting on HUD to figure out the details of the mortgage. I dont know to be honest with you... I have gotten 4 different answers from 4 different people so truly I dont think *anyone* knows.
They have 45 days from the date it was accepted which would put us at Aug 12th so if it happens before then I will be surprised to be honest with you!
Good luck to you! I hope yours will go smother than ours did! ( Im sure it will :)

Thanks Robin,
We are completly new to this and don't know what to expect. We should hear for sure on our offer tomorrow morning and then if they offer a counter offer we are looking at that. But our lender is a local bank so hopefully it will go smoothly!
{{HUGS}} and good luck to you on closing!

Wow, you have had a rough time...
Lets hope what happened to us won't happen to you...
We were selling our house, with a contract to another buyer.. on settlement date... he went to get his downpayment, and the ex wife, cleaned his account out, and left town!
We were left high and dry!
