We had a wonderful time there. The rooms are huge with balconies. Plenty room for 5. We stayed there for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel every day. The pool was terrific. Had a view of Epcot. There is so many places to eat you don't go hungry no matter how picky ( we have 3 daughters). There is a community hall that has airhockey, pingpong, nintendo games, computers( no internet), foozeball, and a few other games that are all free. Great place to go while it rains. We ate at the backery every morning. Any questions I'll try to answer?

We belong to DVC and so we also stay at BW. We think the theming and activities are fabulous too! Can't beat the location, and there's something to do for everyone.

dbail2: Thanks for the info on the BWI. We stayed in a Garden Suite in Feb and now we will be there in September (regular room) and am looking forward to it!
I would love to know if there was any rehad construction going on at the BWI or BWV? Was there scafolding around the Luna Park pool area? Where was your room- waterview or standard? Did you like the view, or would you have preferred another view?
Any other special tips or suggestions you have would be great.!!! Sorry for all the questions, just looking forward to returning to the BWI

Welcome back! The Boardwalk Inn looks like a really nice resort - can't wait to try it someday!

There is plenty of rehab and construction going on at the BWVs. There was rehab going on along the BW above and around theBig River Brewing Company. There is scafolding around the Luna Park pool area. There was no scafolding to the right side of the pool above the kiddie area . Our room was standard 5th floor facing Epcot. We loved the view it was perfect and I would request it again.

We also have three kids and have reserved two standard rooms for late September. Could you see the fireworks from Epcot from your room? Is there anything in particular I should ask for when I fax preferences? Thanks!

We only needed one standard room because our youngest is 8 and slept in the daybed. We were on the 5th floor facing Epcot. I would just ask for that view maby close to the elevator because it is a very long hall. The original room we requested was not available but the one they gave us was wonderful.
