My kids often have different schedules as far as when they want to eat so I am wondering if the receipt you get shows how many kids meals you have left and how many adult meals? It will be easy for us to track on table service but I can see the kids wanting breakfast and lunch since the kids meal CS are fairly small. I just want to make sure I know where I am at. So are the kids vs. adults separated on the receipt (actually does it even show your balance, I forget).

Thanks

CS meals are not seperated on your receipt, at least not in november. We have never had a problem keeping a mental record of what we used for the day. We always found that there was so much to eat with the dining plan that none of us were really eating outside of meal times.

Yeah it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm thinking about toward the end of the week mostly. Also my 9 year old may need 2 kids meals to fill him so I do plan to run out of kids CS meals sooner than adult meals. But I guess if it isn't shown on the receipt they'll just tell me that we have no more kids meals. I would assume they won't just take an adult meal credit if I'm out of kids meals and ordering a kids meal.

What I do is almost like a spreadsheet.

I have a column for each day and write in my ADR's and some CS's that we know are favorites and we will go to....such as planning to spend an evening at DTD so we know we will have dinner at EoS or WPE. Even if there is nothing planned for a CS we know we are going to have one each day so i will just write in 'CS'.

At the bottom of each column I have a line for the credit count. It makes it easy to keep track.

The snacks.... I have to mainly rely on my receipts as I buy things. That's not to hard though since I usually keep every receipt. At the end I like to add it all up to see the insanse amount that was spent on food.

I do similar but with a notebook and have never had a problem keeping track, in spite of plenty of sharing, using snacks as meals, meals as snacks to share ....
Since you sit down to eat your food anyway, it is quite easy to whip out your book/paper and check off the appropriate columns. If in doubt and you are one to keep your receipts, it does show how many adult/child cs credits are used in each transaction on there so you could use that to double check at the end of the evening if in doubt. It literally takes a few seconds and you don't have to worry.

You can also go to the resort concierge any time and get a print out of your credits.

Okay so that helps. Even if it doesn't show the balance left for credits for kids CS but it does show that I used a kids CS credit I will be able to figure it out. Of course I'll have to give the receipts to the wife as I'll just shove them in some pocket in a big mess. :rotfl:
