To get a good idea on this, simply go to the WDW site and plug your trip in as if you were looking for a resi, with all of the details of your actual trip. First run it with the regular DDP, then just change it to DX. Voila - the difference is calculated for you.

I think I read it is $30/ day per adult.

The price difference for basic DDP and DxDP is $30/night/adult, $9/night/child during "non-peak" DDP season, and $25/night/adult, $8/child/night during peak season. (Basic DDP has differing peak/non-peak rates, none of the other plans do; DVC members report non-peak pricing for basic DDP year-round.)

Please note dining plan prices are assessed per NIGHT you stay at your resort, not per day.

If you are at WDW for 7 nights and 8 days and you buy 8 day park tickets, you are still paying for 7 nights of dining plan.
