As some of you may know I tend to get all the "special and important jobs" at work. The ones I can not delegate since they are a big deal:rolleyes:

Well we have a weather station on top of the building that feeds one of the Chicago TV stations. Somehow the signal was not making it...a couple of the "administrators" got thier undies in a knot that they could not hear/see our school on tv when the current temps ect are reported on the news:rolleyes: SOOOOOOO......guess who must correct this situation.

I must mention its a flat tar roof, its bordering on 100 F today, but they wanted it NOW:rolleyes: So I spend two hours re-running the the co-ax, changing all the connections and metering out everything. After coming down....I swear I saw the care bears dancing up there:p :p I check the feed into my pc and it is 102f with a 115 heat index:cool: Its even more fun on a tar roof...ok my head is tingling time to go:) :smooth:

your head is tingling?? Isn't that a normal state of mind?? Er...um...

Ok, I am sorry could not help it!! I hope you didn't get heat stroke up there. If you are seeing Care Bears, maybe you should see a Dr.

I bet a drink would help:)

I would love to see our administrators with their undies in a wad...lol

Oh I know about those 'special' jobs. In fact, I get to do two of them tomorrow. Running to Land Registration offices and pouring over tons of maps trying to find the right one. Oh what fun. ;)

Wow Patrick. Work in dowtown Chicago, so I know how hot it gets with the sun reflecting off of all the glass buildings. :(

You are a faithful employee to endure that. :D

In my company's vernacular... that is translated on our job descriptions as:

"Other duties as assigned."

:p

Could you please wash my car for me while you are at it?
