How long was/is your ceremony?

I know it's completely up to you, and what you decide with your officiant, but I'd like to know what everyone else has gone with.

I'd like mine short and sweet, but I don't want it to be over so quickly that our guests are left asking "Was that it?" :confused3 :lmao:

I think that from the moment our bridal party started to walk down the isle, until we exited the isle was under 20 minutes. Our ceremony was probably closer to 12 minutes. I know that when we wrote it we were mindful that it was very short and asked that it be read slowly with pauses, not long uncomfortable ones, but ones at just the right time. Our guests appreciated the shortness as it was June in Southern California. We ahve been to a few that were closer to 45 minutes in length in the hot sun and were a bit uncomfortable.

The ceremony I built using the samples rev. Knox sent me is running about 12-13 minutes. I wanted it short, sweet and to the point. His wife, Theresa has been very helpful with creating the ceremony.
