Is SSR sold out officially?
BLT is at least 50% sold out I thought
AKL probably has a way to go. Anyone guess how much is sold
VGC is supposidly close as well. 75%
Hawaii is 0% sold I would guess

You can probably buy any resort directly from Disney if you ask. Same for resale. But Hawaii isn't for sale yet.

SSR was technically sold out until they added THV. They still have a way to go on selling out again. Only 30 of the 60 THV's have even been declared into DVC inventory.

I don't mean to sound ignorant but I'm very new to this. So, what do you mean by this? Is it that there really will probably always be places available even after they are technically "sold out" since they pick up contracts here and there from people who no longer want them or who default?

Yes. They also get points back by right of first refusal, all resale contracts are reviewed by DVC and they have the opportunity to pick them up.

I've been tracking the deeds recorded for the DVC resorts located at WDW. My data is through 2/24/2010 and is based on deeds recorded at the Orange County Comptroller's website.
BLT:
Estimated Total # of Points - 5,733,530
Points Sold through 2/24/2010 - 2,839,297
Percent of Total Points Sold - 49.52%
Percent of Total Points Declared for DVC - 63.04%
AKV:
Estimated Total # of Points - 7,400,190
Points Sold through 2/24/2010 - 4,089,907
Percent of Total Points Sold - 55.27%
Percent of Total Points Declared for DVC - 64.84%
SSR (TreeHouse Units Only):
Estimated Total # of Points - 905,250
Points Sold through 2/24/2010 - 156,172
Percent of Total Points Sold - 17.25%
Percent of Total Points Declared for DVC - 50.00%
I don't have any data on GVC because its deeds are recorded in California. The Orange County (CA) website is not as user friendly from which to collect data as the comparable website in Florida.
I'm at BLT right now but will be back home next week. I'll update the data for BLT, AKV, and SSR once I return home.

Wow WDRL great data! Thanks. So looking at this and the fact that Hawaii is coming up next, I would not expect any new hotels anytime soon. I think the interesting thing might be the rate of sales. Seems like BLT is selling faster than other hotels.

Here's some stats to show sales slowing at BLT. On October 4th, 2009 they increased the price to $120/point. Contracts from the time they are written to the time they show up on the OCC web site can take many weeks (2-6?). The numbers below indicate BLT sales started slowing some time in November.
Month #Cont Points
Aug09 1104 186431
Sep09 1127 189160
Oct09 1203 205306
Nov09 846 124660
Dec09 521 82214
Jan10 620 102927
Feb10 445 71318
Mar10(1-4) 132 21010
Incentives for the last several months have pushed buyers toward AKV.
I don't track AKV sales, but I think wdrl has mentioned AKV sales are running about 2-1 ahead of BLT since the price increase at BLT.
