Hi !!

Definitely Sheraton's Vistana Villages ( www.vistana.com )! Been there in January - and going back in August...oh NOW!!
Great!! Try doing a search here on disboards and you'll find loads of info!
Booking is best through www.hotelkingdom.com , rates go as low as 100 dollars a night for a 2-bedroom suite.

Also - pictures on http://www.orlando.subnet.dk

Have a great trip!

Warm regards

International Drive is lined with hotels. The area closest to Wet n Wild is the most congested and the area south closest to SeaWorld is the least. I prefer the latter.

There are some plusses to staying on I-Drive. They have every restaurant you can imagine, and mostly everything is a walk away. Unfortunately it is a tourist trap and the traffic can be incredible so take that into consideration. Even if you're not driving, the I-Ride Trolley, taxis and the shuttles get caught up in that traffic, also.

Universal Drive runs parallel to much of International Drive. It is easily accessible and will definitely speed up getting around.

We stayed at Embassy Suites/Convention Center and loved it (2 pools - one indoor, one outdoor). I think the ES on Jamaican Court (a block off I-Drive) has package deals that wind up with the room part being about $99 a night. Of course, that includes an incredible free breakfast.

there are a few of the hotels that look as though they are on I-drive but they are actually on Universal BLVD which is a great short cut to avoid the congestion on I-drive.

runs from sand lake to I-drive that is near the Pointe Orlando!!

We loved the Radisson Barcelo on I-Drive. It is across the street from the Mercado. They have recently renovated. They have a nice pool with a jacquzzi and you can also use the Olympic pool in the Aquatic Center next door. The rooms are huge with two queen beds & a pull out couch. There is a refridgerator and microwave at no charge.

The Mercado is very fun. The food and beer are cheap and they have live entertainment every night.

We had a very good experience and loved the location.
