Hi there...yep 30 years old and never left the country..but am doing so on 10th march with my two children bound for DLP for 2nights!!!!!! :goodvibes

Can finally get excited as have had muck ups on my kids passports and they only came through today.

So i have a small amount of questions that i hope you guys could help me with??!!

Im travelling on Eurostar and have the whole disney express thing. We have the free meals deal. As we can go straight to the parks, are we given park tickets AND meal vouchers for that 1st day THERE AND THEN...OR do we have to go to the hotel and get them?

We are staying at Santa Fe what does the hotel room come with..like are towels/hair dryers/mirrors/safety deposit box provided?...yep im totally cluless!!

Two adults and two kids 500 euros enough y'think??? :confused3

The meal vouchers can you like combine the value of them and use them whenever you like or are they specifically labeled as "lunch" "dinner".

What would be the top three must-do's for a 2 night 3 day trip?

LASTLY..(for the time being!)

I have to have atleast 2 cups coffee a day..one in the morn most important! I hear France dont do proper milk..but UHT?..What is this?!!...how do i get round this..i hear theres a starbucks though???!!!!

Hope you guys can help a little!

Thankyou in advance...am really getting excited now :rotfl:

Hello and welcome

You'll have a great time - you must be so excited. How old are your children?

A must do is to watch the parade - everyday in the main park about 4pm - pick up a programme of events from the entrance to the park (under the disneyrailroad station) and it will tell you the times of shows/meet and greets etc

Santa Fe is a very basic hotel but warm, clean and comfy. There are towels and a few toiletries (soap and shower gel) but no hairdryers. Theres a mirror and TV (Disney channel). Theres no safety deposit box but they have them on reception that you can use.

And yes you will get tickets, meal vouchers etc on the train so can go straight to the park

there are pics in the restaraunt sticky that they can look at to see the food.

you cant combine the vouchers but you can use them at face value. the lunch ones can be used for a set meal at a counter service place or as part payment in a table service restaraunt

UHT is Ultra Heat Treated milk - we tend to call it long-life milk. It's the stuff you get in cafes in the little sachets or round plastic cartons or supermarkets sell it in pints and two pints. It doesn't have to go in the fridge until it's been opened and keep for about 3-6 months. The heat treatment kills the bacteria in the milk that make it go off but also alter the taste, you notice it more with full fat milk but less with semi-skimmed and there's virtually no difference with skimmed.

You get coffee in the Santa Fe at breakfast and the garage next to it sells tea and coffee. It's probably available at the bar.

I've not been there but there is a Starbucks in the Village next to the parks.

We're taking a travel kettle but someone else said you can get one from reception (deposit needed) and a selection of tea/coffee for €5. The garage sells real (non-UHT) milk as well if I remember correctly.

http://users.andenne.be/disneyland/hotel_santa_fe.htm for pictures of Santa Fe.

The breakfast there is continental, there's no hot food, ham, cheese, croissants, pain au chocolat, toast, cereal, rolls, etc.

We liked the Santa Fe, the food is good and the characters are tehre in the morning.

You can have a wee look round if you search for Disney Paris on Google maps, drag the wee man onto the blue outlines and you can wander through the park in Street View.

Enjoy the trip.

you cant book annettes. if you eat there are lunch time or if you leave the park before closing you will be fine. its only just after park closing it will be very busy as it is the first restaurant in the village.

i would book cafe mickey. it can get quite busy in the evening and even with a reservation i have heard of people waiting. at lunch it is quieter but i would still have a reservation. even if it was booked when you arrive
