View Full Version : I am so sad!!!!

We just lost our nine year old dog Champ to lymphoma. There isn't a dry eye in our house. :( :( It is amazing how much you come to love your pets. This is coming from someone who absolutely DID NOT want a puppy brought into the house nine years ago. My husband brought him home from the pound (a 100% pure breed mutt) and I was absolutely furious at him!!
In nine years this dog became a really good friend to all of us and became especially attached to me (the only one who did not want him at first) and I to him. The only thing that is helping us through this is that he in not suffering anymore.

I have never asked before but I think I could really use a {{HUG}} today.:( :(

I recall your posting on Dopeygirl's thread about her cat passing away, that you thought your dog may have this illness, krazyboutWDW. I am so sorry he did and also has passed away. So very sad, a big {{Hug}} for you. They are family to all of us, aren't they?

I am so sorry for you loss. It is amazing how much pets become a part of our lives. We just put my dog of 13 years down in June. So sad

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. Our pets are almost like our children. Our hearts are broken when we lose them to illness.
