I might as well start this if it hasn't been started yet! We are bouncin' back to WDW this August! Our first split stay - ASMu Family Suites and our first deluxe - the Contemporary! Who else is heading down this August?:wizard:

We booked the free dining bounce-back last August, but, alas, I don't think we'll make it this year. It is frustrating, since this is the first year I haven't had to fret about free dining, and now probably won't be able to use it. To top it all off, I will be fretting about free dining now for next Aug, since we can't book a bounce-back this summer!:sad1:

We'll be there with similar plans - bounceback with free dining to a Family suite at ASMu and then a night at Bay Lake Tower (our first deluxe too!)

Heading there this year for 9 nights Aug22-31. Driving down from Ajax, Ontario. Sadly, we didn't think we'd be coming back this year since we've been down for the past 3 years straight. So we didn't book the free dining bounceback offer last year. We're waiting with fingers crossed for free dining to be offered again this year. If not.. oh well. Serves us right for thinking we'd want to vacation away from Disney. (What got into us?)

We too are heading on down! We'll be staying off property at Bonnet Creek from 15th-22nd. But before Disney we'll be in Williamsburg, South Carolina, & Daytona Beach. And to think that this was supposed to be a 'short' vacation this year! :confused3 :lmao:

We will be staying at Pop Century as well. We will be there from August 14th - 28th, but did not get the bounce back, since we never went to Disney last summer. But doing the DP.

Driving down from Ajax, Ontario.

We're in Bowmanville and are going to WDW for the first time. My husband suggested driving, but I wasn't sure if I would survive that long in the car with young kids :lmao:. Luckily we found $69 fares from Buffalo.

How do you find the drive? Do you stay overnight, or take turns driving straight through? Do you have kids with you?

Hey Dimples, Tigg, and Janice! It looks like we'll all be at Pop around the same time!

I'll be there Aug.17-24 with my DH.

It would be SO cool to set up a small DisMeet! I've never been to one.

She's pretty excited. All the kiddos are really. Even though we've been there several times, when she was granted a wish and was asked what she wanted, she said she wanted to go to DW and see the princesses again ... the Children's Wish Foundation is booking an appointment for her at the Bippity Boppity Boutique and I've reserved breakfast at the castle for us afterwards and 1900 Park Fare for that evening which will all be a surprise for her.

That would be wonderful! This is my first time staying onsite too.

And casper, I'm so happy for your daughter! I'm a big supporter of the Make a Wish Foundation. I've held a couple of fundraisers for them myself.

I've even started a Disney club on campus to help raise money for children that make the wish to go to WDW.
