I am wondering if this is a suffcient budget for a wishes VR that will be no more than 30 people. We want a ceremony, reception and illuminations DP. I want the ceremony very simple with not much floral or anything like that. The majority of the money I want spent on the reception and the DP.
Is this budget OK or should I account for more?

Definitely! The sample budget I got from Disney amounted to about $26,000 for 70 guests, including ceremony, reception and dessert party (including transportation for the ceremony and DP). :)

Great! Thank for letting me know. We just decided to do this so my head is swimming with all the information I need to read.\
I just wanted to make sure that my budget will work with what I want before I get all excited.

Keep some of the money aside and take a nice cruise after the VR!

That is the exact amount we spent on our Wishes VR. That amount included everything for 47 guests total, but no dessert party. It also includes airfare, resort, park passes(AP's for our kids) and food for the week. We also didn't do much decor or floral for the ceremony. Take a look at my TR and PJ, the link is in my siggy. I have my breakdown of costs in my PJ and lots of pics in my TR.

we are having 25 total and our BEO is 12,000(min.) we are having a 10 am ceremony at WP, lunch Napa Room and illuminations DP. we have no personal floral through disney but do have petal canons, character, motor coach for ceremony/reception, caricature artist at reception along with fun stuff like glow ice cubes and mickey rice crispy treats etc. so yes it can be done! good luck and have fun!:goodvibes

I should add that that $30,000 included Misty Miotto as our photographer and STVS as our videographer.(both outside venders) We used Disney for everything else. We made our invitations, place cards, and table name cards. All that was included in our budget too. Let me know if I can help with anything!
