I thought I would let anyone else who was looking for the Tower at the Ap rate. The price I got was $1459 (incl. tax) for November during the value season for 6 nights - which comes to $243/night incl. tax. I originally had had a AAA rate. So I saved almost $300 by switching. I had been calling for discounts everytime I heard new codes were out and they kept saying it wasn't available. During one of those calls the CM said something about another code coming out on Aug. 1st so I figured I would try one more time. I hope this was a good rate.

Lucky you:D We are staying at the CR in Oct., 11-19, and I haven't been able to get ANY discount. Everytime I call, they tell me that there is nothing to be had in the way of a discount because the resort is completely sold out at our time. At least we have our ressies, but no discounts.

CR was my first choice too but it was totally sold out for my dates.:(

i got the same rate for Nov, $243. Isn't that a bit pricey for a room during the deadest season of the year? The Poly GV is much cheaper. I might switch to the poly. I think the discount isnt that deep in the tower. Did you use the WDISNEY number or the 939-7429? This matters sometimes.

ddank - I know I'm still paying more than I want. But we really want to stay here. I called the regular Wdisney number. It was getting frustrating because people were reporting such great rates for some of the other deluxes. My previous rate with the AAA discount was for $306/night including tax, so I have resigned myself to being happy with this rate. I had always thought that the Contemporary was one of the less expensive deluxes. I guess you pay for the convenience and the atmosphere.

If you really want to stay at that resort than I think the rate you have is the lowest you will see for this season at least. My DS loves the Cont Tower and he wants to stay there again but we will be at the Poly because we got a price that I can afford. When he can pay for the resort and the passes he can pick it but right now I am fortunate to be able to go and stay for any time at a deluxe. I am happy for you and I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Disneydenise - LOL on your comment:

I have a feeling this won't become our "regular" resort choice while at Disney even it is awesome. I would definitely like to try others, maybe something near the Epcot resorts for our next trip (which I have no clue when that will be, but a girl can dream!! ). :)

The $243($219 +tax) rate is for the tower. Rack rate for value season is $325 so you will be saving $106 per night. I happen to think that is a GREAT price for a tower room.
Contemporary Wing Garden View rooms (the most appropriate rooms to compare to the Poly, IMO) are going for $169 (rack rate of $265 = savings of $96 per night)
Poly Garden View rooms are going for $164 (rack rate of $299 = savings of $135 per night)
