Davy Crockett pool opening/closing times??

Hi,
Could anyone tell me the opening/closing times of the DC pool during the summer season?? Trying to plan days and am thinking a break through the day to go into the pool would be good before going back to the park for the late afternoon/evening.
Is it a real pain leaving the park during the day, driving to DC and then driving back?? i.e with parking and stuff.
If anyone has done this any info would be appreciated.

I can't remember the pool opening times, but a typical day for us staying at DCR sees us getting up early for EMH, back to DCR for lunch, a short rest and a swim in the afternoon and then back to the parks. It's a long walk back to the car parks but worth it to break up the day. Parking is no problem, we normally end up parking in the 1st couple of rows when we return. There 's always the odd space or two.

How about opening/closing times this month? We'll be there Mar.28-April 1. It looks like a great pool that the kiddies will love.

It used to be open most of the day as all the hotel pools were as we had a swim there before checking out on the day we were leaving however last summer the hotel pools started opening only at 3pm and I think this included DLR. It was very disappointing to be honest

I feared as much, I thought I remembered something about 3pm from one of the many reviews I read but I wasnt sure.
Thats a little later than I was hoping for, but we could always head back for 2ish and then back into the parks after an hour or 2's swimming. I was just hoping being summer it would be open most of the day.

We are going in 3 weeks :cool1::cool1::banana::banana: and I can't wait!! I was hoping to go back for an afternoon break/swim--don't think we can make it from 8am-10pm straight in the parks--but if the pool doesn't open until 3pm, that's not ideal. How late does the pool stay open in the evenings?

Also, can anyone tell me if Crockett's Tavern is open for lunch? I believe it's only dinner.
